DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0026] Hereinafter, embodiments will be illustrated in conjunction with the accompanying
drawings. Furthermore, the embodiments illustrated hereinafter do not limit the content
of the present application defined by the claims. Also, all content illustrated by
the embodiments below are not limited to necessary content for technical solutions
of the present application defined by the claims.
[0027] The present application provides a folding reclining chair so as to realize an object
of improving resting quality.
[0028] As shown in Figures 1 to 5, the folding reclining chair includes a backrest frame
1, a seat frame 2, a rear foot frame 4, a front foot frame 3 and an armrest tube 5.
The backrest frame 1 is articulated to an end of the seat frame 2, and an end of the
front foot frame 3 is articulated to the armrest tube 5. A middle portion of the front
foot frame is articulated with two sides of the seat frame 2. A chair top 7 is provided
on the backrest frame 1 and the seat frame 2. A middle portion of the rear foot frame
4 is articulated with the backrest frame 1, the rear foot frame 4 is articulated with
the front foot frame 3, and the front foot frame 3 is articulated to the armrest tube
5 via a slide block 6. The slide block 6 is slidably arranged on the armrest tube
5, and is provided with a locking mechanism 9 for locking the sliding block 6 onto
the armrest tube 5.
[0029] When using the folding reclining chair as a chair, the sliding block 6 is slid to
a proper position, the backrest frame 1 is adjusted to be substantially perpendicular
to the seat frame 2, and then the sliding block 6 is fixed onto the armrest tube 5
via the locking mechanism 9, thus at this time the folding reclining chair may be
used as a chair. When using the folding reclining chair as a reclining chair, the
locking mechanism 9 is released, and the sliding block 6 is slid further to adjust
an angle between the backrest frame 1 and the seat frame 2, and then the sliding block
6 is fixed onto the armrest tube 5 via the locking mechanism 9, thus at this time
the folding reclining chair may be used as a reclining chair. The locking mechanism
9 is released, the sliding block 6 is slid further, the backrest frame 1 and the seat
frame 2 are adjusted to be substantially parallel to each other, and then the sliding
block 6 is fixed onto the armrest tube 5 via the locking mechanism 9, thus at this
time the folding reclining chair may be used as a bed. In the above folding reclining
chair, the angle between the backrest frame 1 and the seat frame 2 can be adjusted
via the sliding block 6 and the locking mechanism 9, which may allow a user to be
in a best resting position to the greatest extent, thereby improving the resting quality.
[0030] According to the folding reclining chair in an embodiment of the present application,
the locking mechanism 9 may be a conventional locking mechanism 9, and when the sliding
block 6 slides to a predetermined position, the locking mechanism 9 may realize the
function of fixing the sliding block 6 at that position.
[0031] For example, the sliding block 6 slides on the armrest tube 5 via a guide rod provided
with multiple locking positions, and the sliding block 6 is provided with multiple
locking hooks. When the sliding block 6 slides to a preset position, the locking hook
of the sliding block 6 is hooked on the locking position. For ensuring the stability,
there are at least two locking hooks, one of the locking hooks is connected with a
locking position at one side of the sliding block 6, and the other locking hook is
connected with a locking position at the other side of the sliding block 6, thereby
realizing the object of locking the sliding block 6.
[0032] Or, the sliding block 6 is disposed on a rack 91. Specifically, two ends of the rack
91 are fixed at two ends of the armrest tube 5 respectively. The sliding block 6 is
provided with a sawtooth structure at a sidewall corresponding to teeth of the rack
91, and a strip-type hole is provided at both two sides of the sawtooth structure.
A connecting hoop is disposed at an outside of the sliding block 6, and a screwing
button having an irregular shape is articulated to two ends of the connecting hoop.
During rotating process of the screwing button, a side surface relatively far from
an axis of the screwing button press down the sidewall of the sliding block 6 having
the sawteeth, such that the sawteeth on the sidewall engages with the sawteeth on
the rack 91, thereby realizing the locking function. When it is needed to slide the
sliding block 6 again, the screwing button is rotated, a side surface of the screwing
button relatively close to the axis of the screwing button is in contact with the
sliding block 6, such that the sidewall of the sliding block 6 having the sawteeth
returns to an original state under the action of the elastic force itself, and the
sawteeth on the sliding block 6 are disengaged from the sawteeth on the rack 91, thereby
ensuring that the sliding block 6 is slidable on the rack 91.
[0033] In addition, the above locking mechanism 9 includes the rack 91 and a locking screwing
block 92. Specifically, two ends of the rack 91 are fixed to two ends of the armrest
tube 5 respectively. The sliding block 6 is disposed on the rack 91, and is slidable
on the rack 91. The locking screwing block 92 is articulated to the sliding block
6, and has sawteeth which can be rotated to engage with the rack 91. For facilitating
rotating the locking screwing block 92, the locking screwing block 92 is provided
with a handle 93. When the sliding block 6 reaches a preset position, the locking
screwing block 92 is rotated to enable the sawteeth on the locking screwing block
92 to engage with the sawteeth on the rack 91, thereby realizing the object of locking
the sliding block 6. When it is needed to slide the sliding block 6 again, the locking
screwing block 92 is rotated in a reverse direction so as to disengage the sawteeth
on the locking screwing block 92 from the sawteeth on the rack 91, such that the sliding
block 6 is in a free state, and is slidable on the rack 91.
[0034] For further optimizing the above technical solutions, a spring is further provided
between the sliding block 6 and the armrest according to an embodiment of the present
application, such that the backrest frame 1 may be prevented from being laid down
too rapidly. Specifically, for the above locking mechanisms 9, in the first type of
the locking mechanisms 9, the spring is sleeved on the guide rod and is away from
the backrest frame 1; in the second and third types of the locking mechanisms 9, the
spring is sleeved on the rack 91 and is away from the backrest frame 1.
[0035] The seat frame 2 according to an embodiment of the present application includes a
frame of the chair top 7 and a foot rest frame 22. A middle portion of the frame of
the chair top 7 is articulated to a middle portion of the front foot frame 3, one
end of the frame of the chair top 7 is articulated to the backrest frame 1, and the
other end of the frame of the chair top 7 is articulated to the foot rest frame 22.
During using, the foot rest frame 22 may be stretched out. For example, a supporting
rod is provided on two side rods of one of the foot rest frame 22 and the front foot
frame 3, and a free end of the supporting rod is provided with a locking opening,
two side rods of the other one of the foot rest frame 22 and the front foot frame
3 is provided with a locating column. When the foot rest frame 22 is required to be
stretched out, the locking opening of the supporting rod is retained on the locating
column, thereby realizing the object of stretching out the foot rest frame 22.
[0036] Since the above technical solution requires a second manual operation, thus is relatively
complicated. An embodiment of the present application further provides another solution,
that is, a connecting rod 8 is provided between a bottom end of the backrest frame
1 and the foot rest frame 22. One end of the connecting rod 8 is articulated to the
bottom end of the backrest frame 1, and the other end of the connecting rod 8 is articulated
to a middle portion of the foot rest frame 22. When the backrest frame 1 is stretched
out, the backrest frame 1 may push the connecting rod 8 to support the foot rest frame
22, such that the foot rest frame 22 is stretched out.
[0037] Embodiments of the present application further provide several mounting forms of
the chair top 7 in the folding reclining chair.
[0038] The chair top 7 is provided with a circular hole. A rod member 10, connected to the
chair top 7, of the backrest frame 1 and the seat frame 2 is provided with a connecting
hole, then the circular hole on the chair top 7 and the connecting hole on the rod
member 10 are connected by a cord according to a certain weaving pattern. For improving
the comfort of the chair top 7, a wide rubber band 72 is provided at connecting portions
between the chair top 7 and the backrest frame 1, and between the chair top 7 and
the seat frame 2.
[0039] Further, the rod member 10 for connecting the chair top 7 with the backrest frame
1 and the seat frame 2 is provided with an open slot, a connecting bar 73 is fixed
at a tail end of the chair top 7, the connecting bar 73 is inserted into the open
slot, and the chair top 7 extends from an opening of the open slot. For improving
the comfort of the chair top 7, a wide rubber band 72 is provided at connecting portions
between the chair top 7 and the backrest frame 1, and between the chair top 7 and
the seat frame 2.
[0040] Specifically, the rod member 10 may be a subassembly of the backrest frame 1 and
the seat frame 2, and the bar member 10 may also be arranged on the backrest frame
1 and the seat frame 2 so as to connect the backrest frame 1 and the seat frame 2
with the chair top.
[0041] As shown in Figure 5, in an embodiment of the present application, a tail end of
the chair top 7 is woven to be a cylindrical structure, and the connecting bar 73
is arranged in the cylindrical structure. The wide rubber band 72 is arranged in a
manner that a fabric 71 constituting the chair top and the wide rubber band 72 are
woven to be a cylindrical structure. Specifically, the cylindrical structure may be
a continuous structure, that is, the cylindrical structure fully wraps the connecting
bar 73; or the cylindrical structure may also be a discontinuous structure, that is,
the cylindrical structure wraps the connecting bar 73 at an interval, and the connecting
bar 73 being wrapped is inserted into the open slot. The connecting bar 73 may be
an aluminum bar, an iron bar, a wood bar, or a plastic bar, and it is preferably a
plastic bar. The connecting rod 73 has a shape fitted with an encircling shape of
the open slot, the connecting rod 73 may be of a circular shape, a rectangular shape,
a square shape or other shapes, and preferably is of a circular shape. The chair top
7 has the fabric 71 which may bear a large strength, for example the fabric 71 may
be a jean or an oxford cloth.
