(57) A coal blend briquette which comprises a coal blend obtained by mixing both ash-free
coal that comprises solvent-soluble components of coal and residue coal obtained by
removing the solvent-soluble components from the coal with pulverized coal. The coal
blend comprises 3 wt% or more of the ash-free coal, 8 wt% or less of the residue coal,
and the pulverized coal as the remainder.
