Field of Invention
[0001] The present invention is involved in the zipper technology field, especially in an
anti-explosion zipper.
Description of Related Arts
[0002] In our daily life, the suitcase is used to load clothings, baggages and other articles
for daily use, especially plays an important role in travel; however the closed function
of suitcase is of vital importance. The repetitive opening/closing frequency of the
zipper of suitcase is higher, which would make the zipper worn and torn easily, especially
in the process of carrying; the strength requirement for zipper is higher. The breakage
and explosion of the zipper may cause the property in the suitcase to be lost or stolen.
[0003] In consideration of existing problems mentioned above, Chinese application for a
patent for the present invention with an application number (No.
201110002230.8) applied by this applicant discloses an anti-explosion zipper comprising a zipper
left loop, a zipper right loop and a double-tooth zipper head; the zipper left loop
comprises left lower teeth, a left cloth belt and left upper teeth; the left lower
teeth and left upper teeth are respectively fixed on the edge of upper and lower sides
of the left cloth belt; the zipper right loop comprises the right upper teeth, right
cloth belt and right lower teeth; the right upper teeth and right lower teeth are
respectively fixed on the edge of upper and lower sides of the right cloth belt; the
left lower teeth is matched with the right lower teeth, the left upper teeth is matched
with the right upper teeth, and the double-tooth zipper header is matched with the
combination of the left lower teeth, right lower teeth, left upper teeth and right
upper teeth.
[0004] The above-mentioned anti-explosion zipper can effectively deal with some defects
including that zipper is damaged and torn easily, exploded easily in the process of
carrying and not durable, but the following problems still exist: the orientation
of the upper and lower teeth is same and the zipper is exploded easily when it is
bent. Moreover, a double-tooth zipper header realizes its movement through the engagement
with the combination of the left lower teeth, right lower teeth, left upper teeth
and right upper teeth, but after the long-time use of the structure, the seizure of
the double-tooth zipper head and each tooth will occur and cause the damage and fracture
of zipper; in addition, after the long-time use, the gap between the base plate and
cover plate will be bigger, which will directly cause the double-tooth zipper head
to drop from the center between the zipper left loop and zipper right loop.
Summary of the Present Invention
[0005] The technical matter which the present invention will solve is to provide an anti-explosion
zipper with better anti-explosion performance.
[0006] The technical matter which the present invention will further solve is to provide
an anti-explosion zipper with the simple structure, easy usability and the assurance
of the correct and smooth movement of the double-tooth zipper header.
[0007] In order to solve the above-mentioned technical matter, the present invention applies
the following technical solution: an anti-explosion zipper comprising a zipper left
loop, a zipper right loop and a double-tooth zipper header; the zipper left loop comprises
left lower teeth, a left cloth belt and left upper teeth; the zipper right loop comprises
right upper teeth, a right cloth belt and right lower teeth; the left lower teeth
engage with the right lower teeth; the left upper teeth engage with the right upper
teeth; and the double-tooth zipper head engages with the combination of the left lower
teeth, right lower teeth, left upper teeth and right upper teeth; the teeth orientation
of the left lower teeth and right lower teeth is opposite to that of the left upper
teeth and right lower teeth.
[0008] Furthermore, the double-tooth zipper header is equipped with a zipper column, the
middle of which fixes an all-in-one guide vane with the zipper column.
[0009] Furthermore, the left lower teeth and left upper teeth are respectively fixed on
the edge of upper and lower sides of the left cloth belt and are clamped to form a
left groove; the right upper teeth and right lower teeth are respectively fixed on
the edge of upper and lower sides of the right cloth belt and are clamped to form
a right groove; the left side of the guide vane is matched with the left groove and
the right side of the guide vane is matched with the right groove.
[0010] Furthermore, the double-tooth zipper head is yet equipped with a base plate and a
cover plate as well as a bridge of the nose used for the fixation of zipper pulls;
the base plate is fixed on the bottom of the zipper column; the cover plate is fixed
on the top of the zipper column; and the bridge of the nose is fixed on the cover
plate.
[0011] Furthermore, a locating ring is fixed on the bridge of the nose and is a closed or
unclosed locating ring.
[0012] The useful effect of the present invention is: the orientation of the upper teeth
of the present invention - anti-explosion zipper is opposite to that of lower teeth,
which makes the density of engagement between the teeth smaller and also make the
interaction gap between the teeth smaller, which makes the explosion not easy, even
when the zipper is bent, the explosion won't happen, which has better security.
[0013] Moreover, a guide vane and a zipper column are all-in-one, even after the long-time
use, the abrasion or drop will also not occur. The guide vane is fixed on the middle
of zipper column, which makes the stresses among the zipper left loop, zipper right
loop and double-tooth zipper header balanced - three parts are stressed jointly; during
the use, the tension of teeth is relieved and the fatigue degree of zipper is also
reduced. The left side of the guide vane is matched with the left groove and the right
side of the guide vane is matched with the right groove, which can assure the correct
and smooth movement between the double-tooth zipper header and the zipper left loop
and zipper right loop, even after repetitively high-frequency opening/closing, the
matters like the seizure, explosion or stiff zipper movement will also not occur.
In the meanwhile, the present invention is characterized by the easy operation, flexible
handling, long service life, low production cost, and so on.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment
[0016] To more clearly explain the present invention; hereinafter combine with the figures
to further describe the present invention.
[0017] Refer to Fig. 1∼5. The present invention provides an anti-explosion zipper comprising
a zipper left loop, a zipper right loop and a double-tooth zipper head 1; the zipper
left loop comprises left lower teeth 2, a left cloth belt 3 and left upper teeth 4,
the zipper right loop comprises the right upper teeth 5, a right cloth belt 6 and
right lower teeth 7; the left lower teeth engage 2 with the right lower teeth 7, the
left upper teeth 4 engage with the right upper teeth 5, and the double-tooth zipper
head 1 engages with the combination of the left lower teeth 2, right lower teeth 7,
left upper teeth 4 and right upper teeth 5.
[0018] The orientation of the left lower teeth 2 and right lower teeth 7 is opposite to
that of the left upper teeth 4 and right lower teeth 5, that is, the orientation of
the left lower teeth 2 is consistent with that of the right lower teeth 7, the orientation
of the left upper teeth 4 is consistent with that of the right upper teeth 5, but
the orientation of the left lower teeth 2 and right lower teeth 7 is opposite to that
of the left upper teeth 4 and right lower teeth 5. As shown in the Fig. 2, the teeth
orientation of the left lower teeth 2 is downward as marking A shows, the teeth orientation
of the left upper teeth 4 is upward as marking B shows, then at the moment the teeth
orientation of the right lower teeth 7 is consistent with that of the left lower teeth
2 and the teeth orientation of the right lower teeth 5 is consistent with that of
the left upper teeth 4. Certainly, it can be also that the orientation of the left
lower teeth 2 is upward and the orientation of the left upper teeth 4 is downward,
as long as the teeth orientation of both applies the inverse design.
[0019] A double-tooth zipper head 1 is equipped with a zipper column 8, the middle of which
fixes an all-in-one guide vane 9 with the zipper column 8. The left lower teeth 2
and left upper teeth 4 are respectively fixed on the edge of upper and lower sides
of the left cloth belt 3 and are clamped to form a left groove 13; the right upper
teeth 5 and right lower teeth 7 are respectively fixed on the edge of upper and lower
sides of the right cloth belt 6 and are clamped to form a right groove 14.
[0020] The left side 91 of guide vane is matched with the left groove 13 and the right side
92 of guide vane is matched with the right groove 14.
[0021] Compared to the existing technical status, the anti-explosion performance of the
present invention anti-explosion zipper is more advanced. As the orientation of the
upper teeth and lower teeth applies the inverse design, the density of engagement
between the teeth is smaller and the interaction gap between the teeth is smaller
- which makes the explosion not easy, even when the zipper is bent, the explosion
won't happen, which has better security. Moreover, the guide vane 9 and zipper column
8 are all-in-one, even after the long-time use, the abrasion or drop will also not
occur. The guide vane 9 is fixed on the middle of zipper column 8, which makes the
stresses among the zipper left loop, zipper right loop and double-tooth zipper header
1 balanced - three parts are stressed jointly; during the use, the tension of teeth
is relieved and the fatigue degree of zipper is also reduced. The left side 91 of
the guide vane is matched with the left groove 13 and the right side 92 of the guide
vane is matched with the right groove 14, which can assure the correct and smooth
movement between the double-tooth zipper header 1 and the zipper left loop and zipper
right loop, even after repetitively high-frequency opening/closing, the matters like
the seizure, explosion or stiff zipper movement will also not occur. In the meanwhile,
the orientation of the upper teeth and lower teeth applies the inverse design, which

is characterized by the easy operation, flexible handling, long service life, low
production cost, and so on.
[0022] In this embodiment, the double-tooth zipper head 1 is yet equipped with a base plate
10 and a cover plate 11 as well as a bridge 12 of the nose used for the fixation of
zipper pulls, the base plate 10 is fixed on the bottom of zipper column 8; the cover
plate 11 is fixed on the top of zipper column 8; and the bridge 12 of the nose is
fixed on the cover plate 11.
[0023] In this embodiment, a locating ring 121 is fixed on the bridge 12 of the nose and
is a closed or unclosed locating ring. If the locating ring 121 is a closed locating
ring, the zipper pulls is fixed inside the closed locating ring at the moment and
is used for a long time without replacement; if the locating ring 121 is a unclosed
locating ring, replace the zipper pulls depending on the need of users - this way
makes users use more conveniently.
[0024] Through the improvement of zipper with existing technology, the engagement degree
of the invented zipper reaches the most effective embodiment. Compared to the insufficient
tension stress in this document, after the improvement of this embodiment, the guide
vane 9 can correctly guide the correct movements of the left lower teeth 2, left upper
teeth 4, right upper teeth 5, right lower teeth 7 and double-tooth zipper head 1 and
the seizure won't happen. At the same time, the double-tooth zipper head won't have
any stress point during tearing and will have a double bite force at least to effectively
prevent falling and the cloth-explosion between the left cloth belt 3 and the left
lower teeth 2 and left upper teeth 4 as well as between the right cloth belt 6 and
the right upper teeth 5 and right lower teeth 7. Even though the zipper repeatedly
opens/closes with a high frequency, it's also not worn or torn easily, especially
in the process of carrying, the strength of zipper obviously emerges, which greatly
reduces the probability of breakage or explosion of zipper to prevent the property
in the suitcase from being lost or stolen.

as shown in the drawings and described above is exemplary only and not intended to
be limiting.
1. An anti-explosion zipper comprising a zipper left loop, a zipper right loop and a
double-tooth zipper head (1), the zipper left loop comprises left lower teeth (2),
a left cloth belt (3) and left upper teeth (4); the zipper right loop comprises right
upper teeth (5), a right cloth belt (6) and right lower teeth (7); the left lower
teeth (2) engage with the right lower teeth (7); the left upper teeth (4) engage with
the right upper teeth (5); and the double-tooth zipper head (1) engages with the combination
of the left lower teeth (2), right lower teeth (7), left upper teeth (4) and right
upper teeth (5), and characterized by that the teeth orientation of the left lower teeth (2) and right lower teeth (7)
is opposite to that of the left upper teeth (4) and right lower teeth (7).
2. The anti-explosion zipper as recited Claims 1, characterized by that the mentioned double-tooth zipper head (1) is equipped with a zipper column
(8), the middle of which fixes an all-in-one guide vane (9) with the zipper column
(8).
3. The anti-explosion zipper as recited Claims 1 or 2, characterized by that the left lower teeth (2) and left upper teeth (4) are respectively fixed on
the edge of upper and lower sides of the left cloth belt (3) and are clamped to form
a left groove (13); the right upper teeth (5) and right lower teeth (7) are respectively
fixed on the edge of upper and lower sides of the right cloth belt (6) and are clamped
to form a right groove (14); the left side (91) of the guide vane is matched with
the left groove (13) and the right side (92) of the guide vane is matched with the
right groove (14).
4. The anti-explosion zipper as recited of one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized by that the double-tooth zipper head (1) is yet equipped with a base plate (10) and
a cover plate (11) as well as a bridge (12) of the nose used for the fixation of zipper
pulls, the base plate (10) is fixed on the bottom of the zipper column (8); the cover
plate (11) is fixed on the top of the zipper column (8); and the bridge (12) of the
nose is fixed on the cover plate (11).
5. The anti-explosion zipper as recited Claims 4, characterized by that a locating ring (121) is fixed on the bridge (12) of the nose and is a closed
or unclosed locating ring (121).
