(57) A brassiere cup (10, 12) includes a shaped section and a less-stretchable component (20; 30; 40; 50) joined to or formed with the shaped section. The less-stretchable support can be provided at different locations on or as a part of the brassiere cup (10, 12) and provides desired support whilst limiting potential deformation of the brassiere cup (10, 12).
