(54) Thermoelectric Generator with Expandable Container


(57) The invention relates to a device (10) for generating electrical energy comprising at least a thermoelectric generator (14) arranged between a surface (12) subjected to thermal exposure and a container (16) containing a phase change material, wherein at least a part of a wall of the container (16) is elastically expandable. The novel embodiment has an improved overall efficiency and is not dependent on orientation or motion of the device.
