    Description


    [0001] The present invention relates to a deformable upright for forming arched false ceilings and non-linear openings.

    [0002] Currently, to form partitions, furnishing walls or false ceilings, metal structures are used, fixed to the masonry, to support panels of plaster board or other similar materials.

    [0003] These structures generally consist of a U-bent profile provided with a plurality of apertures to form an assembly of U-shaped modules joined together by appendices provided on the bottom and on the two sides. The appendices are then bent inwards to form a plurality of U-shaped elements joined together by portions of their lower and lateral surfaces.

    [0004] During use, each deformable guide is used as it is or is adapted to the curved shape to be produced, by opening out or bending the connection appendices. In particular, the guides are adapted to the plan development of the walls to be formed, are fixed or mounted vertically, fixed at their ends to the floor and ceiling respectively.

    [0005] In other cases they are adapted to the development of the ceiling and fixed at their ends to the walls. Curved or flat panels connected together are applied to the guide and upright assembly.

    [0006] WO 2013175272 A relates to a deformable guide for partitions, false ceilings and spandrels in general composed of a strip of die-cut sheet metal, cut and folded into a U-shape, having continuous zones alternating with zones with notches and die-cuts.

    [0007] This document discloses the technical features of the preamble of claim 1.

    [0008] These uprights have however been shown to be susceptible to improvement for their use as arched false ceilings or non-linear openings in partitions.

    [0009] This improvement is attained according to the invention by a deformable upright for forming arched false ceilings and non-linear openings as described in claim 1.

    [0010] The present invention is further clarified hereinafter in terms of a preferred embodiment thereof, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:

    [0011] As can be seen in Figure 2, the upright 2 according to the invention consists of a strip of sheet metal die-cut to form a plurality of modules 4 symmetrical about the longitudinal axis 6 of the upright, each module being provided with two bending lines 8 for forming a U-shaped piece consisting of a base 10 and two flanges 12, with the edges 14 bent inwards and downwards.

    [0012] Each module 2 is die-cut to define:
    • in the two flanges 12, two apertures 16 of sand-glass shape which cease before the bending line 8 and which extend beyond the bending lines 18 about which the edges 14 are bent relative to the flanges 12,
    • in the edge 14, a semicircular incision 20,
    • in the base 10, a central incision 22 formed substantially from a elliptical portion 24 which extends at both ends into two slotted apertures 26 aligned with the incisions 20,
    • in the base 10, outside the central incision 22, four inclined slotted apertures 28 having one end close to the elliptical portion 24, and the other end close to the ends of the base of the sand-glass shaped aperture 16.


    [0013] In particular, the distance between the ends of those slotted incisions 28 closer to the axis 8 substantially corresponds to the width of the sand-glass shaped aperture 16.

    [0014] To curve the upright, the zone comprising the central incision 22 has merely to be pressed.


    Claims

    1. A deformable upright (2) to obtain arched ceilings and nonlinear openings said upright (2) being constituted by a strip of sheet metal punched and folded along two parallel fold lines (8) to form a U-shape consisting of a base (10) and wings (12), the wings (12) being provided with flaps (14), said upright (2) being constituted by a plurality of symmetrical modules (4) with respect to the longitudinal axis of the upright, wherein each module (4) has: - on each wing (12) an opening (16) which extends over the folding line (18) of the flaps (14) with respect to the wings (12), - on the base (10) a central slot (22) extending in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the upright (2), - on the base (10), externally to the central slot (22), four slotted cutouts (28) which each has one end near the ends of the base of the openings (16), characterised in that - the openings (16) are hourglass shaped and do not extend over the fold lines (8), - the central slot (22) is formed from a substantially elliptical portion (24) which extends on both sides in two slotted openings (26), - the four slotted cutouts (28) are inclined and have one end close to the elliptical portion (24).
     
    2. Deformable upright (2) according to claim 1 characterized in that the two wings (12) have the flaps (14) folded inward and angled downwards.
     
    3. Deformable upright (2) according to claim 1 characterized in that the distance between the ends of the slotted cutouts (28) closest to the axes of the fold lines (8) is substantially corresponding to the distance of the base of the hourglass shaped openings (16).
     
    4. Deformable upright (2) according to claim 1 characterized in that each flap (14) is provided with a semicircular notch (20) aligned with the slotted openings (26).
     


    Ansprüche

    1. Verformbarer Ständer (2) zum Erhalt von bogenförmigen Decken und nichtlinearen Öffnungen, wobei der Ständer (2) durch einen Stahlblechstreifen gebildet wird, der entlang zweier paralleler Falzlinien (8) gestanzt und gefalzt ist, um eine U-Form zu bilden, die aus einer Basis (10) und Flügeln (12) besteht, wobei die Flügel (12) mit Klappen (14) versehen sind, wobei der Ständer (2) durch mehrere symmetrische Module (4) bezüglich der Längsachse des Ständers gebildet wird, wobei jedes Modul (4) Folgendes aufweist: - an jedem Flügel (12) eine Öffnung (16), die über die Falzlinie (18) der Klappen (14) bezüglich der Flügel (12) verläuft, - an der Basis (10) einen mittleren Schlitz (22), der in einer senkrecht zur Längsachse des Ständers (2) verlaufenden Richtung verläuft, - an der Basis (10) außerhalb des mittleren Schlitzes (22) vier geschlitzte Ausschnitte (28), die jeweils ein Ende nahe den Enden der Basis der Öffnungen (16) aufweisen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass - die Öffnungen (16) sanduhrförmig sind und nicht über die Falzlinien (8) verlaufen,

    - der mittlere Schlitz (22) aus einem im Wesentlichen elliptischen Teil (24) gebildet ist, der auf beiden Seiten in zwei geschlitzten Öffnungen (26) verläuft,

    - die vier geschlitzten Ausschnitte (28) geneigt sind und ein Ende nahe dem elliptischen Teil (24) aufweisen.


     
    2. Verformbarer Ständer (2) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden Flügel (12) nach innen gefaltete und nach unten abgewinkelte Klappen (14) aufweisen.
     
    3. Verformbarer Ständer (2) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Abstand zwischen den Enden der geschlitzten Ausschnitte (28) am nächsten zu den Achsen der Falzlinien (8) der Breite der Basis der sanduhrförmigen Öffnungen (16) im Wesentlichen entspricht.
     
    4. Verformbarer Ständer (2) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Klappe (14) mit einer halbkreisförmigen Kerbe (20) versehen ist, die auf die geschlitzten Öffnungen (26) ausgerichtet ist.
     


    Revendications

    1. Montant déformable (2) destiné à former des plafonds cintrés et des ouvertures non linéaires, ledit montant (2) étant constitué par une bande de tôle métallique poinçonnée et pliée le long de deux lignes de pliage parallèles (8) pour former une forme en U constituée d'une base (10) et d'ailes (12), les ailes (12) étant pourvues de volets (14), ledit montant (2) étant constitué par une pluralité de modules symétriques (4) par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du montant, chaque module (4) ayant : - sur chaque aile (12), une ouverture (16) qui s'étend par-dessus la ligne de pliage (18) des volets (14) par rapport aux ailes (12), - sur la base (10), une fente centrale (22) s'étendant dans une direction perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal du montant (2), - sur la base (10), à l'extérieur de la fente centrale (22), quatre découpes fendues (28), chacune ayant une extrémité à proximité des extrémités de la base des ouvertures (16), caractérisé en ce que : - les ouvertures (16) sont en forme de sablier et ne s'étendent pas par-dessus les lignes de pliage (8), - la fente centrale (22) est formée d'une portion substantiellement elliptique (24) qui s'étend des deux côtés dans deux ouvertures fendues (26), - les quatre découpes fendues (28) sont inclinées et présentent une extrémité proche de la portion elliptique (24).
     
    2. Montant déformable (2) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les volets (14) des deux ailes (12) sont repliés vers l'intérieur et inclinés vers le bas.
     
    3. Montant déformable (2) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la distance entre les extrémités des découpes fendues (28) les plus proches des axes des lignes de pliage (8) correspond sensiblement à la largeur de la base des ouvertures en forme de sablier (16).
     
    4. Montant déformable (2) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que chaque volet (14) est pourvu d'une encoche semi-circulaire (20) alignée avec les ouvertures fendues (26).
