[0001] The present invention relates to a display platform enabling moving the displayed
goods on the display surface. The platform is made of cardboard or paperboard and
may constitute an independent display board, e.g. in the form of a tray or a shelf
of display racks and other structures of this type.
[0002] The patent description of the Polish invention No.
206456 discloses a device for moving goods or unit packages placed on display surfaces, equipped
with technical means fastened over the goods for guiding at least one pusher moved
mechanically under the force of at least one spring, wherein the pusher consists of
two elements connected with a hinge joint. One end of the spring is fastened to the
upper element of the pusher and the other one to the guide plate from the side of
the lower element of the pusher. The guide plate is positioned over the mechanically
pushed goods or unit packages of goods and fastened to a shelf of the rack or a frame,
with at least one display level. The technical means to guide the pusher are in the
form of guide rails which are a part of the guide plate or rods wherein these rods,
along with the second end of the spring, are mounted directly to the supporting structure.
The strength of the pusher spring tension is adapted to the mass of the mechanically
pushed goods or unit package. The collapsing of the upper and lower parts of the pusher
along the hinge joint enables pushing the lower part of the unit package into the
space below the guide plate, and at the same time placing the pusher between the master
package and the extreme rear unit package. During the insertion of the master package
into the rack or shelf of the shop shelving, the spring is extended and the pusher
is moved into its rearmost position. Under the impact of the spring force, the pusher,
along with the emptying of the master package, moves the unit package in the direction
of the fastening of the second end of the spring.
[0003] The spacing of the pushers within the same display area depends on the size of packages
and the display needs.
[0004] The upper element of the pusher has an extended horizontal guide with fasteners cooperating
with the technical means for guiding the pusher, and a connector that is perpendicular
to it, connected by means of a hinged joint with the lower element whose free end
has a frontal surface adapted to the shape of the goods or unit packages. The other
end of the spring is attached to the guide plate on the side directed towards the
free end of the lower pusher element.
[0005] The invention is applicable to master packages and allows for the display of goods
on display surfaces directly from these packages, without the need to unload the goods.
[0006] A package is also known from the European patent description No.
EP1462034, used for commercial display of goods, with the interior for placing the goods in
it, whose display surface is limited on one side with the supporting surface and on
the other side with the movement limiter, located on the opposite side of the supporting
surface, as well as a slider located inside the package in a compressed state. The
slider is a separate part composed of a system of pivotally connected walls, enabling
its compression to a flat state. In this tensioned flat state, the slider is placed
inside the package before the products are placed. The slider in its tensioned state
has the dimensions adapted to the width and length of the package interior. The walls
of the slider are connected with an elastic element, preferably in the form of a rubber
band, which causes the slider in the compressed state to spread with a force directed
towards the surface of the movement limiter, opposite to the direction of the force
applied to the slider compressed to the flat state. The slider is preferably blocked
in the tensioned state by means of the band. After releasing the lock, the slider
pushes down onto the last of the products placed in the package and pushes the remaining
goods to the front wall of the package.
[0007] The aim of the invention was to provide a display platform to move the goods displayed
on the display surface, with a universal and simple structure, allowing for the display
of goods outside the master package, especially in independent display areas as well
as on display racks.
[0008] A display platform on which goods are placed, limited at the rear with a supporting
surface and at the front side with the surface limiting the movement of goods, provided
with a movable slider moving in the direction of the platform front, owing to the
force of attraction caused by the elastic element by which the slider is hooked, is
characterised by the fact that the display surface is the upper plane of the platform
carrier plate which is made of at least one blank, consisting of two main rectangular
walls, one of which, in its collapsed state, constitutes the display surface of the
carrier plate of the platform, and the second one constitutes the lower surface of
the carrier plate, two overlaps: the upper one and the lower one, which in their collapsed
state constitute a rear supporting element of the carrier plate and/or an element
connecting the plate with the structural elements of the display racks, where the
main rectangular walls of the blank are divided with bending lines, which in the collapsed
state define the front edge of the display surface, along which there is at least
one opening for mounting the front anchor equipped with the catch area for the elastic
element, whereas the main rectangular walls are divided from the upper and the lower
overlaps with bending lines which in its collapsed state define the back edge of the
display surface of the carrier plate of the platform, along which there is at least
one opening within the axis of the opening on the bending lines between the main walls
of the blank and overlapping with this opening in collapsed state, wherein the display
surface has at least one connecting slot to connect the openings on the front edge
and the back edge of the carrier plate constituting the guide of the slider, wherein
on the edge of the front plate there is at least one front anchor with the hooking
area for the elastic element, and the elastic element is hooked on one side in the
hooking area of the front anchor, and on the other side with a catch hook of the slider,
wherein the slider consists of the flat base moving on the display surface over the
guide slot and of the pressure plate pushing onto the goods, and causing the movement
of the entire range of goods towards the front part of the platform, wherein the slider
base is provided on the bottom side with a stabilising plate of the slider movement
and a catch hook for the elastic element, located in the area between the display
surface and the bottom surface of the carrier plate of the platform.
[0009] Preferably, the space between the display surface of the carrier plate and the bottom
surface of the carrier plate there is a reinforcing insert made of at least one blank
and provided with at least one longitudinal slot, located in such a way that in the
collapsed state of the carrier plate the axis of the longitudinal slot of the reinforcing
plate overlaps with the guide axis on the display surface, wherein the width of the
longitudinal slot of the reinforcing insert is at least equal to the width of the
plate stabilising the slider movement.
[0010] Preferably, the carrying plate has cut-outs at the side edges of the blank for mounting
elements that connect the platform with the walls of the display racks.

pivotally, which allows for collapsing the mechanism to a flat state, wherein in the

hook of the slider. The tightening of the spring element is implemented during the
loading of the goods on the display surface.
[0019] The platform may constitute an individual structure and have the form of a multichamber
tray, equipped with several sliders. In the following examples, the trails of particular
rows of goods are divided with separators. The distance between the sliders depends
on the dimensions of the goods and the display needs. The frontal limiting surface
is attached to the carrying plate in a known way, by means of catches on the frontal
cooperating anchors. The examples of such a tray have been show in Fig. 10.

the movement of goods, provided with a movable slider, moving in the direction of
the platform front owing to the force of attraction caused by the elastic element
on which the slider is hooked, wherein the display surface is the upper plane of the
carrier plate (1) of the platform that is executed of at least one blank consisting of two main rectangular
walls, one of which, in its collapsed state, constitutes the display surface (2) of the carrier plate (1) of the platform, and the second one the lower surface (5) of the carrier plate (1), two overlaps: upper (6) and lower (7), which in their collapsed state constitute a rear supporting element (3) of the carrier plate (1) and/or an element connecting the plate with the structural elements of display racks,

2. A display platform according to claim 1, wherein in the space between the display
surface (2) of the carrying plate (1) and the bottom surface (5) of the carrying plate (1) there is a reinforcement insert (22), made from at least one blank and provided with at least one longitudinal slot (23), located in such a way that in the collapsed state of the carrier plate (1) the axis of the longitudinal slot (23) of the reinforcing insert (22) overlaps with the axis of the guide (16) of the display surface (2), wherein the width of the longitudinal slot (23) of the reinforcing insert (22) is at least equal to the width of the stabilising plate (21) of the slider (17).
3. A display platform according to claim 1, wherein the carrying plate (1) has cut-outs at the side edges of the blank (10) for mounting elements that connect the platform with the walls of display racks.
4. A display platform according to claim 1, wherein the base of the slider (19) and the compression plate (20) of the slider are connected pivotally, which allows for collapsing the mechanism
to its flat state, wherein in the open position, the angle between the base of the
slider and the compression plate of the slider is up to 100°.
5. A display platform according to claim 1, wherein the frontal anchors (10) are equipped with latches (13) fastening the frontal limiting surface (4) to the carrier plate (1) of the platform.
