Production process of a core/shell structured solid support metal catalyst |
(57) This invention relates to a process and an apparatus for production of catalytically
active metal composites comprising a solid support material. The metal composites
can be designed with a combination of metallic or a combination of metallic and non-metallic
materials. The process provides confinement of metal by a shell structure, which is
also named eggshell-structure. The activation of at least one chemical reaction like
a synthesis reaction, a molecular decomposition or an oxidation reaction can be facilitated
by such a material.
