(54)	AUTOMATED APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING PANELS MADE OF WOOD-LIKE MATERIAL

(57) An automated apparatus (10) for processing panels made of wood-like material, comprising:
- a machine (11) for the longitudinal and transverse cutting to size of a blank panel,
- means (12) for loading blank panels on the cutting machine (11);
- two edging centers (13, 14), each one adjacent to one side of two opposite sides (15, 16) of the cutting machine (11), each edging center (13, 14) comprising two consecutive work tables (17, 18, 19, 20) and single edging means (21, 22) adapted to serve both work tables (17, 18, 19, 20),
- means (23, 24) for transferring the cut panels to the edging centers (13, 14) and for transferring a partially edged panel from one work table (17, 19) to the other work table (18, 20) of the same edging center (13, 14).
