(54) BASE FABRIC FOR SLIDE FASTENER


(57) A base fabric for a slide fastener according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a woven fabric containing, at least in a weft thereof, a modified cellulose fiber having a dry strength of 30 cN/tex or more and a wet strength of 24 cN/tex or more. This modified cellulose fiber is contained in the weft in a proportion of 25% by mass or more.
