Description of an embodiment of the invention
a) Multiple pages of a book are cut or torn into small pieces;
b) the paper is soaked for 15/20 days, immerged in alcohol at 96 ° (degrees);
c) the soaked paper is then pressed;
d) the macerated liquid is filtered;
e) the filtered liquid is distilled, in a glass alembic, into a first container;
f) after having evaporated 90% of the filtered liquid, the distillation is interrupted in order to collect the few ml of filtered liquid that remain at the bottom of the still, separately, in a second container;
g) the few ml of macerated material collected from the bottom of the still are filtered;
h) the first container holding the distilled liquid is covered with a cotton cloth, or in alternative with cotton, for a few days, until the odour of the distilled product in contact with oxygen softens and improves;
i) the distilled product is filtered;
j) finally the filtered distilled product is united with the second part of the separately collected filtered, macerated material.
