(54) CERAMIC COVERING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COVERING A SPACE


(57) The present invention relates to a ceramic covering system and method for covering a space comprising a support structure defining an enclosure to be covered with ceramic pieces, said space being formed by one or more first areas formed by developable surfaces with isometry with respect to a plane, and said space being able to optionally include one or more second areas formed by surfaces curved along two axes, wherein the first areas are covered by means of a division of regular, rectangular, first metal support panels and where the second areas are covered with a division of irregular, second metal support panels, each adapted to its position, there being a regular first array of fixing points for fixing ceramic pieces on the first support panels, and an irregular second array of fixing points for fixing ceramic pieces on the second support panels, the irregularity of the second array being limited.
