    Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD

    [0001] The present invention relates to a holder according to claim 1.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

    [0002] In many industries there is frequently a need of a quick and simple cleaning. Different types of serviettes, usually wet wipes, have therefore been more and more usual. It is usual that such wet wipes are available in a pot 1 with a lid, in which there is a discharge means, through which serviettes may be taken. At the use of many of these pots, the user must use one hand to hold the pot, which is not always desirable.

    [0003] Holder assemblies of different kinds are known in a great variety. In US 5,624,095, for instance, it is shown that one preferably may use the inherent resilient properties of a material to achieve a holder assembly, which then in a simple and good way may keeps an article in place. This category of holder assemblies, however, consists of a homogeneous material, which is not always desirable, especially with respect to the material cost if expensive materials are to be used. Through US 2,460,906 , it is previously known to use a holder assembly which is made of a continuous bent rod and where the inherent resilient property of the rod material is used to keep an article/container within the holder assembly. A drawback with this latter known holder assembly is, however, that there is no anvil, which may keep the article/container within the holder assembly if an upwardly directed force is applied on it. This is a problem if the article/container in the holder assembly is e.g. a container for wet wipes, where the user when taking out a serviette has to apply an upwardly directed force, if the discharge opening is arranged in the lid. DE 87 10763 U1 discloses a container holder arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.

    DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION

    [0004] An object of the present invention is to eliminate or at least minimize the problems mentioned above, which is achieved with a holder assembly according to claim 1.

    [0005] Thanks to the solution according to the invention the user may by means of the use of only one hand in a safe manner take out an object from a container in the holder assembly, e.g. a wet wiper, and with a minimized risk for squeezing, as well as the risk for outer damage of the mechanism for the function of the holder is minimized.

    [0006] According to preferred aspects of the invention, the objects are:
    • that said spring means (5) are encapsulated inside said stationary part (2), which offers the advantage that the mechanism for the function of the holder is protected more safely;
    • that said spring means (5) is encapsulated inside said stationary part (2) by means of a tube (250), wherein preferably said tube (250) also is a part of, or the entire of said guide arrangement (25); or
    • that said spring means (5) is encapsulated by means of a housing-shaped portion (27);
    • that said spring means (5) constitutes of a helical spring which is arranged coaxially with and preferably around an inner leg (33), which implies an extremely effective solution;
    • that said legs (32, 33) are formed of two essentially in parallel arranged rods, which are preferably arranged in a plane extending essentially perpendicularly in relation to a flat portion (20) of said stationary part (2);
    • that both said holding means (21, 31) are made of wire comprising portions (21C, 31B), which are arranged to form a stationary and a movable clamping plane, respectively, wherein said portions preferably comprise wire portions running across each other in the respective plane;
    • that at least one of said holding means (21, 31), preferably both, is provided with a gripping portion (21A, 31A) extending from said clamping plane and is arranged to be able to grip around a package (4) clamped between the holding means (21, 31).

    DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

    [0007] Below, the invention will be described more in detail with reference to the attached drawings, of which:

    Fig. 1 shows a holder assembly according to a preferred embodiment of the invention with a package in an inserted position;

    Fig. 2 shows the holder assembly according to Fig. 1 without any package;

    Fig. 3 shows an additional embodiment of a holder assembly according to the invention; and

    Fig. 4 shows the embodiment according to Fig. 3 from a different angle.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

    [0008] Two different embodiments of a holder 1 according to the invention are shown in the figures. Common for both embodiments is that they comprise partly a stationary part 2, partly a movable part 3. On the stationary part 2 there is a flat-shaped portion 20 intended to be attached to a wall, e.g. by screws (not shown). A lower holding means 21 extends from said stationary part, which part 21 forms a lower support surface for a package 4 containing serviettes. Further, a anvil means 22 is arranged on the stationary part 2, which means is a fixed anvil for a spring 5 (see dashed lines in Fig. 2).

    [0009] The movable part 3 comprises an upper holding means 31 intended to keep a package 4, e.g. containing wet wipes, by means of the force from the spring 5. The upper holding means 31 is arranged at a U-shaped rod 30 with an outer leg 32, an inner leg 33 and an upper, bridging portion 34. A second anvil 35 for the spring 5 is arranged at the inner leg 33. Further a guide arrangement 25 is arranged at the stationary part 2, which arrangement guilds the leg 33 so it may be linearly displaced, so that the U-shaped rod 31 may be linearly displaced from and towards, respectively, a package 4 resting on the lower holding means 21. The spring 5 is clamped between the two anvils 22, 35, so that a continuously effecting force is achieved aiming at pressing the two holding means 21, 31 towards each other. Thanks to the solution according to the invention the spring 5 is arranged in a protected manner, so that the spring mechanism is protected from outer effects of different kinds, as well as that the squeezing risk of a user is eliminated. As may be seen, the length L1, L2 of each leg is essentially larger than the width B of the bridging portion 34. Further, it is shown that the movable holding means 31 is arranged at a larger distance L3 from the bridging portion 34 at said outer leg 32 than said width B, wherein said inner leg 33 is arranged to interact with a first part 25 of said guide arrangement 25, and said outer leg 32 is arranged to interact with a second part 28 of said guide arrangement.

    [0010] In the Figs. 1 and 2 a first embodiment of the invention is shown, wherein a tube 250 is used as a part of the guide arrangement 25, wherein the lower anvil 35 is protectively arranged inside said tube 250 at the inner leg 33 (at a distance above the lower end of the leg), and the upper anvil 22 is a part of a plate 26 extending like a roof perpendicularly from a base plate 22, which at the same time is said flat portion 20 for the attachment of the holder 1. Thus, the spring 5 is arranged inside the tube 250 between the lower 35 and the upper 22 anvils. The inner leg 33 extends at the top through the roof 26 through an opening 26A therein, and the U-shaped bridging part 34 is then arranged at the top in relation to the flat portion 20. Further, the outer leg 32 is provided with a handle part 32A, suitably in the form of a bent portion, which is easier to grip, e.g. in the form of an outwardly bent, lower part of the leg 32.

    [0011] Further, it is shown, that preferably at least one of the holding means 21, 31 is provided with grip means 21A, 31A, which contribute to the possibility to fix a package in the desired position between the holding means 21, 31. The holding means 21, 31 are suitably formed of a wire, which has been bent to the desired shape, wherein the movable holding means 31 is provided with wire parts 31B running perpendicularly outwards in relation to the flat portion 20, and the stationary holding means 21 is provided with wire parts 21C running in parallel to the flat portion 20 (or vice versa) and constitutes the grip means 21A, 31A which are arranged so that two of them 21A run across the flat portion 20 and one 31A runs in parallel to the flat portion 20, so that they together with the base plate 22 form a gripping formation which may safely keep a package 4 in the desired position.

    [0012] In the embodiment shown in Figs. 3 and 4 (which schematically show that also small packages 4 may be kept in place), the flat part 20 for the attachment of the holder 1 is only a periphery part and is a kind of abutment plane for a bulging housing-shaped portion 27 surrounding an inner cavity 270. Inside this inner cavity 270 there is an abutment 271, which is partly a part of the guide arrangement 25, partly a anvil for the spring 5. In the same manner as according to the embodiment in Fig. 1 and 2, a anvil 35 is arranged at the inner leg to biass the spring 5 in the corresponding way in accordance with what is described above, wherein thus a transverse part 22 at the abutment constitutes both said anvil and an upper part of the guide arrangement, which upper aprt is provided with holes. Further, it is shown that the housing-shaped part 270 in its lower edge is provided with an hole 273, which constitutes an additional part of the guide arrangement 25 for a linear displacement of the movable part 3 by means of the inner leg 33 through the holes 273, 274. Further it is shown, that there will well be an additional part included in the guide arrangement 25, in the form of a guiding part (suitably in the form of a washer with holes arranged between two inner wire parts) arranged at the stationary holding means 21, which guiding part guides/holds the outer leg 32 at the desired distance from the flat portion 20. As may be seen from this embodiment, a bridging part 34 is then arranged below the flat portion 20. In order to achieve a more gripping movable part, a bending 36 is arranged above the bridging portion 34. This bending may be used as a limitation of the motion of the movable part 3 implying that the movable part 3 cannot move any further into the cavity 270 than to the bent portion 36, i.e. when the bent portion 36 meets the holder edge 273. A conceivable alternative for the limitation of the motion is to let the upper end of the inner leg 33 be limited by the upper end wall of the housing 27 (or any other hindering part arranged at the housing 27).

    [0013] The invention may be varied within the scope of the claims. For instance, it is realized that a holder arrangement 1 according to the invention is not limited to having a movable part 3 arranged to clamp the package 4 from above but that an arrangement according to the invention also has the function at an inverted attachment, i.e. when the upper part is instead fixed in relation to the housing and the lower part is movable. Further, it is realized that the invention is not limited to the use of a helical spring 5 but that other spring means may be used, e.g. a gas spring, with the same principal functionality. It is also realized that the holder arrangement may be used for containers containing articles of very varying kinds (e.g. papers from a paper roll, plastic bags on a roll, etc.) for a safe and practical fetching/discharge from a container with a discharge opening.
