(57) Underwater premises (100) for retail, commercial, entertainment, recreational and/or cultural facilities in connection with urban or sub-urban fabrics (A, B and C) separated by water, has an enclosed structure located underwater and defining an interior providing space for said facilities. The structure has entrances and/or exits (101) at different parts of the interior and permitting access between the interior and the urban or sub-urban fabrics (A, B and C). A route extends across the entrances and/or exits (101) via the interior and providing access to said space for said facilities, for enjoyment and use by people. When the space is for retail purpose such space provides shopping opportunities and where the connecting urban fabrics (A, B and C) are shopping centers, the underwater premises (100) provides continuation of shopping experience connecting the urban fabrics (A, B and C) and forming a shopping hub or for such other uses and enjoyment by people as and when the space is equipped for said facilities whilst commuting therealong. The route extends from one to another of the urban or sub-urban fabrics (A, B and C) or vice versa.
