(54) ADAPTABLE STOPPER

(57) An adaptable stopper for closing bottles is disclosed, which comprises a head part (1) of the stopper having the basic outer dimension bigger or at least equal to the outer dimension of the mouth of the neck, and a conical part (2) of the stopper, the parts being fixed either by a firm connection by glue or by a mechanically dismantable connection which is fixed by means of grooves (3).

Description

Field of the invention

[0001] The invention relates to a stopper for closing bottles, namely bottles for spirits, distillates, or wine.

Prior art

[0002] Known stoppers have the disadvantage that the stopper is formed by a head part and further by a conical part of the stopper, which are firmly connected.

Summary of the invention

[0003] The invention relates to a glass stopper for closing bottles, namely bottles for spirits, distillates, or wine, the bottles having a circular or non-circular shape of the mouth of the neck, the stopper comprising a head part having its basic outer dimension bigger or at least equal to the outer dimension of the neck of the bottle, and further a conical part of the stopper. Both these parts are firmly connected by a glue according to the used material, or advantageously by a mechanically dismantable connection.

[0004] Another advantage of the invention is that the head part, the outer dimension of which is equal to or exceeds the outer dimension of the mouth of the bottle, may be of any shape. It thus enables different design solutions of the shape of the bottle and the stopper. Meanwhile, further technical elements may be used for transport securing of the stopper, such as thermo capsules, coating or wire bandages.

[0005] Preferentially, the invention is directed to closing distillate bottles. Optionally, the said invention may be used for other liquids, for which the material of the bottle, the stopper and the sealing element will be chemically resistant.

[0006] The solution of the bottle according to the invention provides within the meaning mentioned above the necessary functional safety and repeatability of the sealing effects in beverage bottles, namely for spirits, as well as in bottles intended for other liquids, or optionally for powdery materials.

[0007] The solution according to this invention is within the meaning mentioned above applicable for glass and non-glass materials of the stopper and the bottle.

[0008] The present invention provides an adaptable stopper for closing bottles as defined in the claims 1 to 3.

Description of drawings

[0009] The invention and the advantages thereof are clarified in detail by means of drawings on Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.

Examples of embodiments of the invention

[0010] The embodiment according to the invention causes variability of shapes of the design of the head part 1 of the stopper and the conical part 2 of the stopper which may be dismantably fixed by means of grooves 3, or firmly connected by glue.

Claims

1. An adaptable stopper for closing bottles characterised in that it comprises a head part (1) of the stopper having the basic outer dimension bigger or at least equal to the outer dimension of the mouth of the neck, and a conical part (2) of the stopper, the parts being fixed by a firm connection by glue.

2. An adaptable stopper for closing bottles characterised in that it comprises a head part (1) of the stopper having the basic outer dimension bigger or at least equal to the outer dimension of the mouth of the neck, and a conical part (2) of the stopper, the parts being connected by a mechanically dismantable connection which is fixed by means of grooves (3).

3. The adaptable stopper for closing bottles according to claim 1 or 2 characterised in that the head part (1) of the stopper and the conical part (2) of the stopper are of circular, elliptical or angular shape and are made of glass, wood, plastic or metal material.
