| (57) The invention refers to a decorative accessory for footwear that is easy to shape,
to install, to remove, to interchange between different footwear models, to reposition
on the footwear, to transport and that does not damage the footwear on which is applied.
All above without the need of tools nor to make changes to the footwear. All above
peculiar characteristics allow user to self install the accessory almost in every
location at any time. The decorative accessory subject of the present request has
been developed for the market of footwear. |
Scope of the invention
[0001] The invention refers to a decorative accessory for footwear that is easy to shape, to install, to remove, to interchange between different footwear models, to reposition on the footwear, to transport and that does not damage the footwear on which is applied. All above without the need of tools nor to make changes to the footwear. All above peculiar characteristics allow user to self install the accessory almost in every location at any time. The decorative accessory subject of the present request has been developed for the market of footwear.
Description of the invention
[0003] Distinctive product's pecularityes of this accessory are:
- easy to shape in order to better fit/adapt to many different models of footwear,
- capability to be adapted to the footwear
- extremely easy to install and remove to/from the footwear
- easy to interchange between different models of footwear
- easy to reposition on the footwear
[0004] Above peculiarityes are achieved by:
- using malleable material, such as metal (ie copper, iron, gold, silver etcc..).
- by means of hooks obtained bending dedicated elements (detail A in Table 1);
- they will be bent at reverse "U" in order to fit on the bord of the footwear.
[0005] Those hooks will result to be adjusteable because theyr lenght and wideness can be changed due to the malleability of the material used.
- bend the accessory (B on Table 1) around part of the footwear (ie hell) in order to have it "embracing" the footwear
[0006] Above solutions can be present at the same time on the accessory. The design of the accessory can also include elements (detail C in drawings) where it will be possible to attach rubber bands, chains, ribbons etcc to better keep stable the accessory on the footwear.
[0007] These elements will be integrated in the design of the accessory in order not to be so evident to the sight.
[0008] Because of the malleability of the material used there is no need of tools nor strong power to shape it allowing almost everybody to use it. No need to modify the footwear is also a very important peculiarity of our accessory. Special design and manufacturing attention, shrewdness and techniques are put in place in order to have a final product that does not damage the footwear on which will be installed/applied. Through design, mechanical and chemical processes are going to be eliminated all sharp edges and tips that will certainly damage the footwear during use.
[0009] This accessory will change, significantly too, the look of a footwear on which is set/applyed. The accessory will allow the user to edit, to taste, his footwear, quickly, easily, in any place and at any time and without the need of tools nor need to modify the footwear.
[0010] This accessory being little space consuming and light in weight can more than easily find place in a handbag, in a pochette, in a computer bag, in the baggage travel etcc.
[0011] The user can easily change look, even more times during the day or trip, to it's footwear on the base of needs (events) or simply the mood of the moment.
[0012] This accessory changing, significantly too, the look of the footwear, can contribute to reduce the number of footwear to buy or bring along in a trip; a single pair of footwear, thanks to this accessory, can as a fact, be used for several occasions (ie office and theatre, day or night ...) also old fashion footwear could get to a new life with the application of this accessory. All above will result in an accessory extremely easy to handle by almost everyone and without the need of tools nor the need to modify the footwear.
Production
[0013] All descibed processes that follows are ment/necessary/and made to manufacture an accessory fully matching all peculiarityes previously described.
[0014] Here is described the manufacturing processes for a metal version. Those processes will of course vary if the base material will be different from metal.
[0015] The accessory subject to this request, will be made in metal through a mechanical or chemical process resulting in a flat object.
[0016] It will then pass processes, mechanical and/or chemical, that will contribute to reduce all sharp edges and tips.
[0017] The accessory is then going to be transformed from flat to tridimensional by mean of a special tool that gives it a preforming. This will help the user to easily shape it for a better fitting on the footwear.
[0018] If the accessory, in it's final look, will heed to be decorated with nestled cristals/stones, the needed supports will be soldered on it at this stage.
[0019] To be sure that sharp edges and tips be totally eliminated the decorative accessory will now pass throgh a series of processes that will deposit on it some covering materials.
[0021] These processes in addition to further smoothen all sharp edges/tips will also prevent the metal base of the accessory from any future rusting/oxidation problem.
[0022] The plating in noble metals like Gold or Silver or similar has also a finishing decoration purpose and will contribute to make the accessory more precious and fashion.

5. Decorative accessory according to the claim 1, that because of its design, contributes
to change the look of the footwear on which is applied.
6. Decorative accessory according to claim 1, that because of the precious materials
used like gold and silver or precious or semiprecious stones, can be considered a
jewel.
7. Decorative accessory according to claim 1,2 and 4, characterized by the fact to be manufactured in malleable materials (ex metal, leather, fabrics ..).
8. Decorative accessory according to claims 1,2,4 and 5, characterized by the fact that the footwear on which is installed does not need to be modifyed.
9. Decorative accessory according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that can be designed for a specific model of footwear
10. Decorative accessory according to claims 1,2,4,7,8 and 9, characterized by the fact that is esily installable/positioneable on the fotwear without need of tools.
11. Decorative accessory according to claims 1,2,4,7,8 and 10, characterized by the fact that can be installed simply bending and shaping parts of it on the footwear
and/or use rubber bands and/or special glues, and/or magnets, clips etcc.....
12. Decorative accessory according to the claims 1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10 and 11, characterized by the fact of not being footwear size dependent (it can be installed on a footwear
36 such as a 42) pratically it's a"one size".
13. Decorative accessory according to claims1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, that, because
of the design, shrewdness in manufacturing and applyed techniques, is not damaging
the footwear on which is installed
14. Decorative accessory according to claims1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, that when installed
looks to be integral part of the footwear.
