(57) A jewel (M) comprises a main element (1) formed by a metallic cable (2) provided
with two opposite ends (E1, E2) adapted to be connected together in a loop by the
connection unit (4), and battery means (7) carried by said connection unit (4); said
element (1) supports a plurality (5) of LED means (6) connected to each other by said
cable (2) and adapted to be lit when said element (1) is connected in a loop by said
connection unit (4).

[0001] This model relates to a jewel.
[0002] In particular, the present model is advantageously used in the field of costume jewellery/jewellery
as a wearable item, provided with great ornamental value.
[0003] The purpose of this model is to provide a jewel, in particular a bracelet, easily
wearable and having light points which guarantee a great aesthetic value.
[0004] The structural and functional features of the present model and its advantages over
the known art will be clearer and more evident from the claims below, and in particular
from an examination of the description that follows, made with reference to the attached
drawings which show a preferred but non-limiting embodiment of the present jewel,
wherein:
- Figure 1 shows the present jewel in a schematic view; and
- Figure 2 shows the present jewel in another schematic view.
[0005] With reference to the enclosed Figures 1 and 2, M globally indicates a wearable jewel,
preferably but not limited to a bracelet, employed in the fields of costume jewellery/jewellery
and the like.
[0006] The jewel M comprises a main linear element 1 formed by a metallic cable 2, which
is covered by an appropriate coverage material 3 (e.g. plastic or equivalent), and
is provided with two opposing ends E1, E2, adapted to be connected to each other in
a loop by an interlocking connection unit 4.
[0007] Along the main element 1 is arranged a plurality 5 of lighting LEDs 6, which are
then electrically connected to each other by cable 2 to define an electrical circuit
C.
[0008] Such circuit C is adapted, in use, to be electrically closed at the moment when the
ends E1 and E2 of the element 1 are easily connected together in a loop by the mentioned
connection unit 4: in this way, thanks to battery means 7 housed in the connection
unit 4 and related to the above ends E1 and E2 of the element 1, all 6 LEDs can be
lit, giving an elegant aesthetic appeal to the jewel M.
1. Jewel (M) characterized in that it comprises a main element (1) formed by a metallic cable (2) provided with two
opposite ends (E1, E2) adapted to be connected together in a loop by the connection
unit (4), and battery means (7) carried by said connection unit (4); said element
(1) supporting a plurality (5) of LED means (6) connected to each other by said cable
(2) and adapted to be lit when said element (1) is connected in a loop by said connection
unit (4).
2. Jewel according to claim 1, characterized in that said element (1) is covered by coverage means (3) made of plastic or the like.
