(57) An assembly (1) for moving vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which comprises a dolly (2) which is provided in an upward region with a resting surface (3) and has a height substantially similar to the height of an element (M) which is chosen from among a breakwater wall, a toe wall, a top barrier and the like, of the canal, basin, dam and the like; the base of a winch truck (4) is rigidly coupled on the resting surface (3) in order to firmly anchor the apparatuses operating on a facing (P) of the canals, basins, dams and the like.

Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like.

[0002] As is known, canals, basins, dams and the like are usually used in order to collect, transport and protect water resources.

[0003] In more detail, one of the techniques known nowadays for rendering such canals, basins, dams and the like impermeable consists of coating the beds with a bituminous conglomerate covering.

[0004] Usually, when there is a breakwater wall, a toe wall, a top barrier and the like, on the tops of canals, basins, dams and the like to be covered, such wall, toe wall, barrier and the like is usually demolished in order to allow the handling of the vehicles and of the apparatuses that are working on the facing directly from the top.

[0005] However, the activities of demolishing and rebuilding the wall, toe wall, barrier and the like entail many problems, in addition to the increase in the overall time required to carry out the operation.

[0006] Firstly, the demolition of such wall, toe wall, barrier and the like causes an increase in noise pollution and environmental pollution: in order to carry out such demolition in fact, usually hydraulic demolition hammers are used which create noise and dust, the latter being the cause of pollution of the waters downstream of the facing.

[0007] Moreover, there is a greater intensity of traffic with repercussions on the pollution of both the atmosphere and the soil and also, in particular, on the state of the access road which is one of the most delicate aspects of the entire operation: in fact, more intense and more frequent maintenance activities will be necessary owing to the predictably greater vehicle traffic.

[0008] Moreover, the demolition of the wall, toe wall, barrier and the like can cause uncontrolled losses of stability of the equilibrium of material masses.

[0009] The consequent motions of collapse, sliding, and inclined falls down slopes or vertically into space must therefore be prevented by correctly securing the masses or through the adoption of measures adapted to retain the bodies, such measures being tailored to the nature of those bodies.

[0010] Consideration must further be given to the further inconveniences caused by the demolition operation, such as the increase in inert material to be sent to landfill, owing to the discarded material deriving from breaking up the wall, toe wall, barrier and the like, and the problems associated with the safety of the site workers.

[0011] During the demolition operations there may in fact be falls of material from above, spatters of material, excessive exposure to noise pollution and to vibrations, injuries from contact with moving parts, and slipping, with the risk of falling into the water as well, owing to the presence of oil or water on the ground and the like.

[0012] Consideration must further be given to the problems that can arise during the restoration of the wall, toe wall, barrier and the like, such as falls from above or downward of material as a result of failed protection.

[0013] The principal aim of the present invention is to solve the above mentioned drawbacks, by providing a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which makes it possible, if there is a wall, toe wall, barrier and the like, to manage the vehicles and the apparatuses directly from the top of the canal, basin, dam and the like, without the demolition of such wall, toe wall, barrier and the like.

[0014] Within this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which makes it possible to reduce the environmental impact of the operation.

[0015] Another object of the invention is to provide a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which makes it possible to reduce the overall time for carrying out the operation.

[0016] Another object of the invention is to provide a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which makes it possible to reduce criticalities and unforeseen contingencies during the carrying out of the operation.

[0017] Another object of the present invention is to provide a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which makes it possible to reduce the waste materials to be sent to landfill.

[0018] A further object of the invention is to provide a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which safeguards the safety and protection of the persons who are actively and passively involved in the operation.

[0019] Another object of the present invention is to provide a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, which is low cost, easily and practically implemented, and safe in use.

[0020] This aim and these and other objects which will become better apparent hereinafter are achieved by an assembly for moving vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, characterized in that it comprises a dolly which is provided in an upper region with a resting surface and has a height substantially similar to the height of an element which is chosen from among a breakwater wall, a toe wall, a top barrier and the like, of said canal, basin, dam and the like, the base of a winch truck being rigidly coupled on said resting surface in order to firmly anchor the apparatuses operating on a facing of said canal, basin, dam and the like.

[0021] Such aim and such objects are also achieved by a kit for work to provide the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, characterized in that it comprises at least one element chosen from among:
  • a dolly, which is provided in an upward region with a resting surface which has a height substantially similar to the height of an element which is chosen from among a breakwater wall, a toe wall, a top barrier and the like, of said canal, basin, dam and the like, the base of a winch truck being rigidly coupled on said resting surface in order to firmly anchor the apparatuses operating on the facing;
  • a crane truck for directly positioning the vehicles and the apparatuses for providing the impermeable mantle on the facing;
  • at least one secondary winch truck.

[0022] Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become better apparent from the detailed description of a preferred, but not exclusive, embodiment of the moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, according to the invention, which is illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, wherein:

Figure 1 is a view of the moving assembly according to the invention, in a condition of use;

Figure 2 is an enlarged view of a detail of Figure 1;

Figure 3 is a side elevation view of an element of the moving assembly according to the invention;

Figure 4 is a plan view from above of the element in Figure 3, according to the invention;

Figure 5 is a plan view from above of the kit according to the invention.

[0023] With particular reference to the figures, the reference numeral 1 generally designates a moving assembly for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like.

[0024] According to the invention, the assembly comprises a dolly 2, which is provided in an upper region with a resting surface 3 and has a height substantially similar to the height of a containment element M which is chosen from among a breakwater wall, a toe wall, a top barrier and the like, of the canal, basin, dam and the like.

[0025] In particular, the base of a winch truck 4 is rigidly coupled on the resting surface 3 in order to firmly anchor the apparatuses operating on a facing P of canals, basins, dams and the like.

[0026] This solution ensures a perfect stability and resistance to tipping. In fact, the winch truck 3, to which the vehicles 6 and the apparatuses 6 operating on the facing P are anchored, is firmly anchored to the dolly 2, also conveniently stabilized, so as to render it integral therewith.

[0027] Such solution therefore makes it possible to manage the vehicles 6 and the apparatuses 6 from the top while avoiding any demolition work, even partial, of the element M which therefore remains completely intact.

[0028] Such solution in fact makes it possible to manage the apparatuses, used to provide the mantle in bituminous conglomerate, directly from the top of the canal, basin, dam and the like, operating from an elevated position with respect to the containment element M.

[0029] This contrivance translates to the safeguarding of the containment element M, which thus does not need to be demolished and rebuilt.

[0030] More specifically, the assembly 1 can comprise at least one bogie 2a which can be optionally coupled to at least one bogie 2b, so as to define a resting surface 3 of width and length that can vary according to requirements according to the number of bogies 2a and 2b.

[0031] According to the preferred but not exclusive solution shown in the accompanying Figures 3 and 4, the assembly 1 comprises a first bogie 2a with nine axles which is coupled laterally to a second bogie with nine axles.

[0032] Furthermore, the assembly 1 can comprise self-supporting beams interposed between the bogies (2a and 2b) in order to increase the carrying capacity thereof.

[0033] Within the limits of the width of conventional winch trucks, the resting surface 3 can have a width preferably chosen between 1 m and 6 m.

[0034] Furthermore, the resting surface 3 can have a length preferably chosen between 5 m and 18 m.

[0035] It will therefore be possible to also accommodate further, secondary winch trucks on such surface 3.

[0036] The resting surface 3 can have an overall height which is preferably chosen between 1 m and 2 m, in relation to the height of the containment element M.

[0037] Furthermore, the dolly 2 can comprise a tow hook for removable mating to a tractor unit, and means of locking the wheels.

[0038] The present invention also protects a kit for work for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like. Such kit comprises at least one element chosen from among:
  • a dolly 2, which is provided in an upward region with a resting surface 3 which has a height substantially similar to the height of a containment element M which is chosen from among a breakwater wall, a toe wall, a top barrier and the like, of the canal, basin, dam and the like. In particular, the base of a winch truck 4 is rigidly coupled on the resting surface 3 in order to firmly anchor the apparatuses operating on the facing P;
  • a crane truck 5 for directly positioning the vehicles 6 and the apparatuses 6 for providing the impermeable mantle on the facing P;
  • at least one secondary winch truck 7.

[0039] Furthermore, such kit can comprise at least one element chosen from among:
  • a vibrating plate for compacting the ground;
  • an emulsifying tank;
  • a container provided with a mobile laboratory.

[0040] In particular, the vehicles 6 for providing the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like can be of the type preferably chosen from among a road milling machine, a tipper truck (vehicle with tilt-up body), an excavator, a vibrating finisher, a road roller, an expansion joint tamping machine, a machine for spreading bitumen emulsion and the like.

[0041] The possibility is not ruled out that the kit can also comprise an anti-dust and anti-noise fence 8 for delimiting the work site area.

[0042] Such fence 8 can have a variable length according to requirements.

[0043] Advantageously, the moving assembly 1 for vehicles 6 and apparatuses 6, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, makes it possible, if the containment element M is present, to manage the vehicles 6 and the apparatuses 6 directly from the top of the canal, basin, dam and the like, without the demolition of such containment element M.

[0044] Conveniently, the assembly 1, according to the invention, makes it possible to reduce the environmental impact of the operation.

[0045] Conveniently, the moving assembly 1 makes it possible to reduce the overall time for carrying out the operation.

[0046] Effectively, the moving assembly 1 for vehicles 6 and apparatuses 6, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, makes it possible to reduce criticalities and unforeseen contingencies during the carrying out of the operation.

[0047] Conveniently, the moving assembly 1 according to the invention makes it possible to reduce the waste materials to be sent to landfill.

[0048] Profitably, the moving assembly 1 for vehicles and apparatuses, particularly for the provision of the impermeable mantle of canals, basins, dams and the like, makes it possible to safeguard the safety and protection of the persons who are actively and passively involved in the operation.
