(57) A physiological monitoring device (1) is provided comprising a cup-shaped element (2) suitable for acquiring signals from a skin surface, a control element (3) suitable for communicating with the cup-shaped element (2), wherein the cup-shaped element (2) is suitable for acquiring signals comprising pressure pulsations, and wherein the control element (3) comprises at least one pressure sensor (30) suitable for detecting signals with frequencies having a minimum detectable value of at least less than 5 Hz.
