Detailed Description of the Invention

[0033] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the mounting apparatus (100) developed for suspended water closets (1000) being subject of this invention have been disclosed solely for the purpose of better understanding of the subject and described in a manner not causing any restrictive effect.

[0034] The invention particularly relates to a mounting apparatus (100) as in figure 1 showing mounted case providing mounting of suspended water closet (1000) on embedded flush tank wall surface, consisting of main connection member (10), fixing member (11), washer (12), contact preventer member (13), connection member housing (14), connection member (15), protective member (16) and holding part (17). Figures 1 and 2 shows demounted condition of the mounting apparatus (100) disclosed hereunder.

[0035] The invention is a mounting apparatus (100) providing mounting of suspended water closet (1000) on wall and it comprises
  • a main connection member(10) fixed to the studs (1001) located on the wall surface where embedded flush tank is located, and containing cavities (5) on side edges (4) perpendicular to the said side edges (4),
  • a fixing member (11) placed into the housing (3) on the said main connection member (10) and providing fixing of the suspended water closet (1000) by means of a connection member (15).

[0036] The said main connection member (10) has a base (1) parallel to ground plane and side faces (2) formed on both edges of the said base (1) facing each other in a manner making an angle of 90 degrees and more than 90 degrees with the base (1). The side surface (2) of said main connection member (10)) in the form of a 90-degree angle with the base (1) comprises an elliptic housing (3) passes through the studs (1001). The distance between suspended water closets (1000) cover mounting hole centres are not the same. Therefore, the elliptic housing (3) located on side surface (2) with 90 degrees angle allows motion to right-left parallel to ground. Thus two main connection members (10) can be fixed upon providing desired space distance. By help of this feature the mounting apparatus (100) can be applied to all water closets after eliminating the disadvantage of distance between cover mounting centres.

[0037] The side surface (2) of said main connection member (10), having an angle more than 90 degrees with the base (1) comprises a housing (3) having switch hole embodiment through which the fixing member (11) passes. In addition, load strength is increased by means of cavities (5) 90° perpendic ular to side edges (4) made on the edges (4) of the main connection member (10) to increase strength.

[0038] The said mounting apparatus (100) comprises a connection member housing (14) located into the housing (3) of side surface (2) of the main connection member (10), having angle with the base (1) bigger than 90 degrees and providing forward-backward motion of the suspended water closet (1000) by means of movement on the said housing (3).

[0042] Main connection member (10) is the main part where all components forming mounting apparatus (100) are joined and fixed onto studs (1001) coming from embedded flush tank, having distance between centres and where suspended water closet (1000) passes. Main connection member (10) is the main member in transmission of the load to wall and conveyance of the load. Main connection member (10) has a geometry similar to U form and differently from U form, the angle by one of side surfaces (2) mutually with base (1) is not perpendicular but bigger than 90 degrees. The said main connection member (10) contains preferably an elliptic housing (3) on side surface (2) extending in a position perpendicular to the base (1) and contains a cavity (5) in perpendicular to side surface (2) and side edges (4) of the base (1) face and the stud (1001) are associated in order to increase the resistance. In addition, the side face (2) with slope, that is not perpendicular to the base (1) and having a housing (3) containing a switch hole embodiment enables back and forth motion of the connection member housing (14) where connection member (15) is located upon tightening the fixing member (11), and thus suspended water closet (1000) has zero distance to the wall. Figure 5, figure 6 and figure 7 show views of connection member (10).

[0043] After the main connection member (10) is fixed onto the studs (1001) coming from embedded flush tank and having distance between its centres and through which suspended water closet (1000) passes, connection member housing (14) allowing back-forth motion of the suspended water closet (1000) by moving along the hole is mounted onto the surface having switch hole embodiment of slope side edge (2) of the main connection member (10). The said connection member housing (14) is shown in figure 8, figure 9 and figure 10. Then connection member (15) is located into the connection member housing (14). Preferably, nut is used as connection member (15). Then respectively washer (12) preventing sinking of fixing member (11) into and friction with housing provided on upper area of the suspended water closet (1000), and contact preventing member (13) preventing contact of fixing member (11) with the suspended water closet (1000) are mounted on fixing member (11) fixing the suspended water closet (1000) by tightening the connection member (15) on the main connection member (10) and located through suspended water closet (1000) cover mounting hole. Preferably, plastic conical washer can be used as contact preventing member (13). Then protective member (16) preventing contact between the main connection member (10) and the suspended water closet (1000) is located. Plastic washer can be preferably used as protective member (16). The said protective member (16) is shown in figure 11, figure 12 and figure 13.

[0044] Figure 3 shows a two-dimension general illustrative view of mounting apparatus (100) disclosed hereunder, mounted on suspended water closet (1000) and figure 4 shows side sectional view of mounting apparatus (100) as mounted on the suspended water closet (1000). The fixing member (11) is passed through suspended water closet (1000) cover mounting hole and placed into the housing (2) located on the main connection member (10), and upon tightening the connection member (15) starts to move and drives the connection member housing (14) and suspended water closet (1000) is fixed as a result of back-forth movements of the suspended water closet (1000). Then holding part (17) is installed on head part of the fixing member (11) in a manner coinciding the cover mounting holes on the suspended water closet (1000). The said holding part (17) is shown in figure 14 and figure 15. The suspended water closet hinges (1002) are placed into holding part (17) and fixed, and thus operation is completed.

[0045] Suspended water closet (1000) convenient for concealed mounting, without holes on sides is placed on main connection member (10) and positioned in a manner the suspended water closet (1000) cover mounting hole, fixing member (11) connection member housing (14) are on the same axis.
