(54) | DRY ALARM VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR CONTROLLING A SPRINKLER FIREFIGHTING SYSTEM |
(57) A dry alarm valve assembly, for controlling a sprinkler firefighting system, has
a first inlet (21) connected to a pressurised air source, a second inlet (4) connected
to a pressurised water source, an outlet (5) connected to a network of channels for
supplying the sprinklers, and a valve (3) that opens/closes a flow of water from the
second inlet (4) to the outlet (5); between the valve (3) and the outlet (5) there
is a chamber (12) communicating with the first inlet (21) through a first pneumatic
line (22), which includes a one-way valve (24); the assembly (1) is provided with
a blocking device (25) to hold the valve (3) closed and provided with a second pneumatic
line (29), which is connected to an actuator (26) of the blocking device (25) so as
to operate such actuator (26) by means of pressurised air.
