TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a screen door having a strong structure against
a human-pressing load.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] In case of a rope-type platform screen door (RPSD), which is previously disclosed
to the public, a door leaf of a screen door includes a wire rope. Such a wire rope
may not completely block a platform from a railroad because a risk factor is still
remained, e.g., hands or umbrellas of a passenger may invade between the wire ropes.
[0003] To solve the above-described limitations, a research for completely blocking a platform
from a railroad by applying a hard material such as a conventional platform screen
door (PSD) made of a plate-type material such as reinforced plastics and tempered
glass has been implemented.
[0004] However, it is necessary to satisfy a human-pressing load condition with respect
to a human-pressing load, that is a horizontal force applied to a door leaf of the
screen door by a personnel or crowds, to apply the hard material. Here, to satisfy
the human-pressing load condition, the width of the hard member is necessary to be
widened, and, as a result, the weight of the hard member becomes heavy. When the human-pressing
load condition is not satisfied, the hard member may be bent or staggered.

MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[0017] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference
to the accompanying drawings. The present invention may, however, be embodied in different
forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein.
In the following description, the technical terms are used only for explain a specific
exemplary embodiment while not limiting the present invention. The terms of a singular
form may include plural forms unless referred to the contrary.
[0018] FIGS. 1 and 2 are simplified views illustrating an outer structure of a screen door
100 according to an embodiment. FIG. 1 illustrates a state in which a top side door
leaf 1 and a bottom side door leaf 2 are closed, and FIG. 2 illustrates a state in
which the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom side door leaf 2 are opened.
[0019] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the screen door 100 according to an embodiment may
include the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom side door leaf 2, which are vertically
opened and closed. In an embodiment, each of the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom
side door leaf 2 may include a plate-type member.
[0020] Also, the screen door 100 may further include a left vertical frame 501 and a right
vertical frame 502, which extend in a vertical direction and fixed to the ground,
and a horizontal frame 503 connecting a top end of the left vertical frame 501 and
a top end of the right vertical frame 502 to each other. A left side and a right side
of each of the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom side door leaf 2 may be coupled
to the left vertical frame 501 and the right vertical frame 502, respectively.
[0021] Here, as illustrated in FIG 1, in a state in which all of the top side door leaf
1 and the bottom side door leaf 2 are closed, the bottom side door leaf 2 is disposed
below the top side door leaf 1, and thus the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom side
door leaf 2 do not overlap each other.
[0022] Also, as illustrated in FIG. 2, in a state in which all of the top side door leaf
1 and the bottom side door leaf 2 are opened, the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom
side door leaf 2 overlap each other.
[0023] Hereinafter, the screen door 100 according to an embodiment will be described in
more detail with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6.
[0024] FIGS. 3 and 4 are views for explaining an inner structure of the screen door 100
according to an embodiment. FIG. 3 illustrates a state in which the top side door
leaf 1 and the bottom side door leaf 2 are closed, and FIG. 4 illustrates a state
in which the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom side door leaf 2 are opened.
[0025] FIGS. 5 and 6 are views for explaining a mutual arrangement relationship between
the top side door leaf 1 and the bottom side door leaf 2 in the screen door 100 according
to an embodiment.
[0026] The top side door leaf 1 may include a top side screen part 13 disposed on an X-Y
plane and a top end mounting parts 101 and102 fixedly connected to left and right
both ends of the top side screen part 13, respectively.
[0027] The bottom side door leaf 2 may include a bottom side screen part 23 disposed on
the X-Y plane and a bottom end mounting parts 201 and 202 fixedly connected to left
and right both ends of the bottom side screen part 23, respectively.
[0028] Each of vertical frames 501 and 502 is extended along vertical direction, and screws
311 and 312 vertically extended may be rotatably installed to the vertical frames
501 and 502, respectively.
[0029] Here, rotation motors 301 and 302 connected to bottom ends of the screw 311 and 312,
respectively, in order to rotate the screw 311 and 312 may be installed to second
portions (e.g., bottom end) of the left vertical frame 501 and the right vertical
frame 502, respectively.
[0030] Also, screw coupling parts 321 and 322 supporting the screws 311 and 312, respectively,
may be installed on first portions (e.g. top end) of the left vertical frame 501 and
the right vertical frame 502, respectively. Each of the screw coupling parts 321 and
322 may include a component such as a bearing.
[0031] That is, the left screw coupling part 321 for supporting the left screw 311 may be
installed on the top end of the left vertical frame 501, the left rotation motor 301
may be installed on the bottom end of the left vertical frame 501, and the left screw
311 may be coupled to the left rotation motor 301 in order to rotate by the left rotation
motor 301 while vertically extended from one side of the left rotation motor 301.
[0032] Also, the right screw coupling part 322 for supporting the right screw 312 may be
installed on the top end of the right vertical frame 502, the right rotation motor
302 may be installed on the bottom end of the right vertical frame 502, and the right
screw 312 may be coupled to one part of the right rotation motor 302 and extended
along a vertical direction so that the right screw 312 can be rotated by the right
rotation motor 302.
[0033] Accordingly, when the rotation motors 301 and 302 rotate, the screws 311 and 312
may rotate while maintaining a predetermined position with respect to the vertical
frames 501 and 502, respectively.
[0034] The rotation motors 301 and 302 may be connected to a separated control unit that
is not shown and be synchronized to each other and operated by the control unit.
[0035] Vertically moving parts 41 and 42 may be coupled to one portions of the screws 311
and 312 in a movable manner, respectively. As the screws 311 and 312 rotate, the vertically
moving parts 41 and 42 may move along extension directions of the screws 311 and 312,
respectively. To this end, protruding parts coupled to screw threads of the screws
311 and 312 may be defined in the vertically moving parts 41 and 42, respectively.
[0036] Meanwhile, the top end rails 121 and 122 and the bottom end rails 221 and 222 may
be fixed and coupled to the left vertical frame 501 and the right vertical frame 502.
Each of the bottom rails 221 and 222 may be longer in a vertical direction than each
of the top end rails 121 and 122.
[0037] The top end moving parts 111 and 112 may be coupled to the top end rails 121 and
122, respectively, and guided and moved along the top end rails. To this end, the
top end moving parts 111 and 112 are coupled to perform sliding movement with respect
to the top end rail 121 and 122 or coupled to the top end rails 121 and 122 by bearings.
[0038] Also, bottom end moving parts 211 and 212 may be coupled to the bottom end rails
221 and 222, respectively, and guided and moved along the bottom end rails. To this
end, the bottom end moving parts 211 and 212 are coupled to perform sliding movement
with respect to the bottom end rail 221 and 222 or coupled to the bottom end rails
221 and 222 by bearings.
[0039] Here, top end mounting parts 101 and 102 disposed on both left and right ends of
the top side door leaf 1, respectively, may be installed on the top end moving parts
111 and 112 in a fixed manner. Accordingly, the top side door leaf 1 may move along
the top end rails 121 and 122.
[0040] Also, bottom end mounting parts 201 and 202 disposed on both left and right ends
of the bottom side door leaf 2, respectively, may be installed on the bottom end moving
parts 211 and 212. Accordingly, the bottom side door leaf 2 may move along the bottom
end rails 221 and 222.
[0041] Here, the bottom end moving parts 211 and 212 may be coupled to the vertically moving
parts 41 and 42, respectively. Accordingly, when the vertical moving parts 41 and
42 vertically move, the bottom end moving parts 211 and 212 also vertically move together.
[0042] As a result, when the rotation motors 301 and 302 rotate the screws 311 and 312 rotate,
when the screws 311 and 312 rotate, the vertically moving parts 41 and 42 move in
the vertical direction, and when the vertically moving parts 41 and 42 move in the
vertical direction, the bottom end moving parts 211 and 212 and the bottom side door
leaf 2, which are connected to the vertically moving parts 41 and 42, move in the
vertical direction.
[0043] In an embodiment, the bottom side door leaf 2 is coupled to the top side door leaf
1 through a predetermined method, which will be described later in FIG. 7. Also, when
the bottom side door leaf 2 moves vertically, the top side door leaf 1 may move vertically
at a speed less than that of the bottom side door leaf 2.
[0044] FIG. 7 is a view for explaining: a structure in which the top end mounting parts
101 and 102 and the bottom end mounting parts 201 and 202 in FIGS. 3 to 6 are coupled
to each other; and a principle in which the top side door leaf 1 move by receiving
a force from the bottom side door leaf 2.
[0045] As illustrated in FIG. 7, pulley shafts 141 and 142 for pulleys 131 and 132 are provided
on a top end and a bottom end of the top end mounting parts 101 and 102, respectively.
A pair of pulleys 131 and 132 may be coupled to a pair of pulley shafts 141 and 142
in a rotatable manner. Also, a belt 140 may be coupled to the pair of pulleys 131
and 132 while contacting the outer circumferential surfaces of the pair of pulleys
131 and 132.
[0046] Here, a first coupling part 51 may be provided at one point of each of the bottom
end mounting parts 201 and 202 and coupled to one portion (second coupling part 52)
of the belt 140 in a fixed manner.
[0047] Hereinafter, a movement principle of the top end mounting parts 101 and 102 and the
bottom end mounting parts 201 and 202 will be described.
[0048] When the screws 311 and 312 are driven to rotate by the rotation motors 301 and 302,
the vertically moving parts 41 and 42 that are coupled to the screws 311 and 312 in
a movable manner may move vertically.
[0049] Here, since the bottom end moving parts 211 and 212 are fixed and coupled to the
vertically moving parts 41 and 42, respectively, the bottom end mounting parts 201
and 202 are fixed and coupled to the bottom end moving parts 211 and 212, respectively,
and the one portion 52 of the belt 140 is fixed and coupled to the first coupling
part 51 of each of the bottom end mounting parts 201 and 202, the top end mounting
parts 101 and 102 coupled to the belt 140 through the pulleys 131 and 132 may also
move in the same direction as the bottom end mounting parts 201 and 202. That is,
as the bottom side door leaf 2 moves vertically, the top side door leaf 1 also may
move in the same direction.
[0050] Meanwhile, in case of RPSD, the door leaf of the screen door is constituted by a
wire rope. When the door leaf is constituted by a wire rope, the door rope may not
completely block a platform from a railroad because a risk factor is still remained,
e.g., hands or umbrellas of a passenger may invade between the wire ropes.
[0051] To solve such a limitation, researches for completely blocking the platform from
the railroad by applying a conventional hard member such as PSD to the screen door
have been implemented. However, although the human-pressing load that is a RPSD structural
analysis condition, e.g., a condition of 100 kgf is necessarily satisfied to apply
the hard member, the condition is hardly satisfied while maintaining a light weight.
As a result, when many people are distributed in a platform or subway, the door leaf
may be bent or staggered by a people's action of applying a pressure to the door leaf.
[0052] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the screen door capable of withstanding
the human-pressing load may be provided.
[0053] Hereinafter, a screen door 200 according to an embodiment of the present invention
will be described with reference to FIGS. 8 to 10.
[0054] FIG. 8 is view illustrating an outer structure of the screen door 200 according to
an embodiment of the present invention.
[0055] FIG. 9 is a view for explaining a top side door leaf 3 and a bottom side door leaf
4 depicted in FIG. 8 in detail.
[0056] FIG. 10 is a side cross-sectional view for explaining a coupling structure between
the top side door leaf 3 and the bottom side door leaf 4 depicted in FIG 8.
[0057] The screen door 200 according to an embodiment of the present invention may include
the top side door leaf 3 and the bottom side door leaf 4, which are vertically opened
and closed, a left vertical frame 501, a right vertical frame 502, and a horizontal
frame 503. Here, the left vertical frame 501, the right vertical frame 502, and the
horizontal frame 503 may have a specific component, a structure, and a driving method,
which are realized as same as those in an embodiment described in FIGS. 1 to 7.
[0058] The top side door leaf 3 may include: a top side screen part 13 disposed on the X-Y
plane; a first top side reinforcing part 11 fixed to a top end of the top side screen
part 13 and extended along the X-axis direction while protruding in a direction of
+Z; a second top side reinforcing part 12 fixed to a bottom end of the top side screen
part 13 and extended along the X-axis direction while protruding in the direction
of +Z; and at least one rail 15 extended along the Y-axis direction.
[0059] Also, the at least one rail 15 is extended along the Y-axis direction may be fixed
on the first top side reinforcing part 11 and the second top side reinforcing part
12 with respect to the top side screen part 13.
[0060] In another modified embodiment, the at least one rail 15 may be connected to another
point of the top side screen part 13 instead of the first top side reinforcing part
11 and the second top side reinforcing part 12.
[0061] Here, when the at least one rail 15 is provided in plurality, the rails 15 may be
arranged while maintaining a predetermined distance therebetween.
[0062] The bottom side door leaf 4 may include a bottom side screen part 23 disposed on
the X-Y plane; a first bottom side reinforcing part 21 fixed to a top end of the bottom
side screen part 23 and extended along the X-axis direction while protruding in the
direction of +Z; a second bottom side reinforcing part 22 fixed to a bottom end of
the bottom side screen part 23 and extended along the X-axis direction while protruding
in the direction of +Z; and at least one rail coupling part 25 coupled to a top end
of the first bottom side reinforcing part 21.
[0063] In another modified embodiment, the second bottom side reinforcing part 22 may protrude
in a direction of -Z.
[0064] In another modified embodiment, the first bottom side reinforcing part 21 may protrude
in the direction of -Z. In this case, it may be understand that a distance between
the top side screen part 13 and the bottom side screen part 23 in the Z-direction
increases further than that in the illustration of FIG. 10.
[0065] The at least one rail coupling part 25 may be coupled to the rail 15 installed in
the top side door leaf 3 in a movable manner, so that the rail coupling part 25 is
guided along the rail 15.
[0066] In an embodiment, the rail coupling part 25 may be fixed and coupled to the first
bottom side reinforcing part 21.
[0067] Here, in an embodiment of the present invention, each of the top side screen part
13 and the bottom side screen part 23 may include a plate-type member. The plate-type
member may be made of tempered glass, a reinforced synthetic resin, or a fabric. However,
an embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto. In a modified embodiment
of the present invention, the top side screen part 13 and/or the bottom side screen
part 23 may include: a frame having a structure in which reinforcing parts 11, 12,
21, and 22 may be installed; and rope-type members installed on the frame.
[0068] Here, as described in an embodiment, when the screws 311 and 312 are driven to rotate
by the rotation motors 301 and 302, the vertically moving parts 41 and 42 coupled
to the screws 311 and 312 in a movable manner may vertically move. Here, the bottom
side door leaf 4 may vertically move along the rail 15 installed on the top side door
leaf 3.
[0069] Meanwhile, when a force is applied to the top side door leaf 3 in the +Z-axis direction
in a state in which all of the top side door leaf 3 and the bottom side door leaf
4 are closed, the applied force may be distributed through the first top side reinforcing
part 11 and the second top side reinforcing part 12. Also, the second top side reinforcing
part 12 may transmit the force to the first bottom side reinforcing part 21 through
the rail coupling part 25. Accordingly, the force may be distributed through the first
bottom side reinforcing part 21.
[0070] When the above-described human-pressing load is applied to the top side door leaf
3, the applied human-pressing load may be distributed to the first bottom side reinforcing
part 21, the bottom side screen part 23 connected to the first bottom side reinforcing
part 21, and the second bottom side reinforcing part 22. Thus, the human-pressing
load may be effectively distributed.
[0071] FIGS. 11 and 12 are views illustrating modified examples in which the door leaf in
FIGS. 9 and 10 are modified in structure.
[0072] Components indicated by reference numbers 603, 604, 611, 612, 613 621, 622, and 623
in FIGS. 11 and 12 correspond to those indicated by reference numbers 3, 4, 11, 12,
13, 21, 22, and 23 in FIGS. 9 and 7, respectively.
[0073] The components of the rail 15 and the rail coupling part 25 in FIGS. 9 and 7 are
removed in FIGS. 11 and 12.
[0074] In an embodiment of FIGS. 11 and 12, a first bottom side reinforcing part 621 and
a second top side reinforcing part 612 overlap each other in a state in which all
of a top side door leaf 603 and a bottom side door leaf 604 are closed. Here, an end
of the first bottom side reinforcing part 621 in the -Z-axis direction may have a
shape corresponding to that of an end of the second top side reinforcing part 612
in the +Z-axis direction.
[0075] According to the above configuration, when a force is applied to the top side door
leaf 603 in the +Z-axis direction, the applied force may be transmitted and distributed
to the first bottom side reinforcing part 621 through the second top side reinforcing
part 612. As a result, a bending phenomenon of the top side door leaf 603 in the +Z-axis
direction may be relieved.
[0076] In the configuration of FIGS. 11 and 12, when the bottom side door leaf 604 moves
in the vertical direction, the first bottom side reinforcing part 621 may protrude
further in the -Z-axis direction with respect to one surface of the bottom side screen
part 623, so that the one surface of the bottom side screen part 623 in the -Z-axis
direction is not contact with the second top side reinforcing part 612. That is, the
one surface of the bottom side screen part 623 in the -Z-axis direction may be disposed
further toward the +Z-axis direction than one end of the first bottom side reinforcing
part 621 in the -Z-axis direction.
[0077] Although an end of the second top side reinforcing part 612 in the +Z-axis direction
and an end of the first bottom side reinforcing part 621 in the -Z-axis direction
are spaced apart from each other in FIG 12, the second top side reinforcing part 612
and the first bottom side reinforcing part 621 are separately illustrated for convenience.
In an optimized embodiment, the end of the second top side reinforcing part 612 in
the +Z-axis direction and the end of the first bottom side reinforcing part 621 in
the -Z-axis direction may contact each other in a state in which the screen door is
closed.
[0078] Also, the end of the second top side reinforcing part 612 in the +Z-axis direction
may have a shape gradually protruding in the +Z-axis direction, and the end of the
first bottom side reinforcing part 621 in the -Z-axis direction may have a shape gradually
protruding in the -Z-axis direction. Accordingly, the second top side reinforcing
part 612 is caught by the first bottom side reinforcing part 621. Thus, the bottom
side door leaf 603 may be prevented from excessively moving downwards.
[0079] In the above-described embodiments of the present invention, the bending phenomenon
of the top side door leaf 3 and 603 in the +Z-axis direction when a force is applied
in the +Z-axis direction is relieved basically because the reinforcing part 11, 12,
611, and 612 installed on the top end or the bottom end of the top side door leaf
3 and 603 protrude in the Z-axis direction. In addition, the bending phenomenon may
be further relieved in that the force may be distributed by the reinforcing part 21,
22, 621, and 622 installed in the bottom side door leaf 4 and 604.
<Modified embodiment of driving device>
[0080] Meanwhile, the configuration regarding an 'upper side screen door' and a 'lower side
screen door', which vertically overlap each other when opened and are vertically spaced
apart from each other when closed, is disclosed in FIG. 4 of Korean Patent Publication
No.
10-2015-0138830 (10 December 2015). Here, the 'upper side screen door' and the 'lower side screen door' correspond
to the 'top side door leaf and the 'bottom side door leaf of the present invention
disclosed in the present specification, respectively.
[0081] One example of the configuration in which the 'top side door leaf moves slower than
the 'bottom side door leaf is explained in FIG. 7 of the present specification. However,
the above configuration may be achieved by adapting the configuration explained in
FIG. 4 of Korean Patent Publication No.
10-2015-0138830 (10 December 2015).
[0082] That is, in FIGS 3 and 4 of Korean Patent Publication No.
10-2015-0138830 (10 December 2015), the 'upper side screen door' and the 'lower side screen door' are connected to
an 'upper side vertically moving part' and a 'lower side vertically moving part',
which are separated driving parts, respectively, and the 'lower side vertically moving
part' may be driven by a 'ball screw'. Also, the 'upper side vertically moving part'
is driven by a 'connection member' receiving a power from the 'ball screw' through
a 'power transmission gear assembly' connected to the 'ball screw'. Here, the 'ball
screw' corresponding to the 'left screw 311' or 'right screw 312' of the present specification.
[0083] The driving part of the screen door device disclosed in the present specification
may be adapted by using the configuration disclosed in FIG. 4 of Korean Patent Publication
No.
10-2015-0138830 (10 December 2015). That is, the 'bottom side door leaf in the present specification may be vertically
driven by the 'ball screw'. Also, the 'top side door leaf in the present specification
may be vertically driven by the 'connection member' receiving a power from the 'ball
screw' through the 'power transmission gear assembly' connected to the 'ball screw'.
Here, the 'connection member' may be a 'second ball screw' that is the same type member
as the 'ball screw'. Also, as a bottom end of the 'ball screw' is directly connected
to the rotation motor, the 'ball screw' may rotate. Here, as a rotation ratio between
the 'ball screw' and the 'second ball screw' is adjusted, a relative moving speed
between the 'bottom side door leaf and the 'top side door leaf may be controlled.
Alternatively, as a gear ratio of the 'power transmission gear assembly' is adjusted,
the relative moving speed between the 'bottom side door leaf and the 'top side door
leaf may be controlled. Here, the 'ball screw' may be longer or shorter than the 'second
ball screw' according to an embodiment. The door leaf connected to the screw that
is longer among the 'ball screw' and the 'second ball screw may have a moving speed
faster than that connected to the screw that is shorter among the same.
