(54) ELECTRONICALLY COMMUTATED FAN SYSTEM CAPABLE OF BEING SUPPLIED BY AC AND DC POWER SOURCES

(57) An electronically commutated fan system (100) includes a conversion module (10), an inverter unit (20), and a control unit (30). The conversion module (10) receives an input power source (Vin) and converts the input power source (Vin) into a first DC power source (Vdcl). The inverter unit (20) receives the first DC power source (Vdcl) and converts the first DC power source (Vdcl) into an output power source (Vout) to make a fan (40) rotate. The control unit (30) controls a rotational speed of the fan (40) to be within a first error range (Rel) when the control unit (30) determines that an amplitude of the input power source (Vin) is varied. The control unit (30) determines that the input power source (Vin) is a DC power source or an AC power source. The conversion module (10) is controlled by the control unit (30) to convert the DC power source or the AC power source into the first DC power source (Vdcl).
