Description

[0001] The invention refers to a special glove, easy and quickly to manufacture, meant for cosmetic use, in particular for products that have dusty consistency like makeup, powder, powder foundation, foundation and different types of cosmetic and skin care products with liquid or semiliquid form. The cosmetic glove can also be used in medical or therapeutically area for application of different skin treatments. The cosmetic glove can be for personal use, at home, and in beauty salons and spas by professionals, beauticians. The cosmetic glove can be used for applying a large variety of cosmetic and skin care products like powder, creams, lotions, tonic lotions, makeup remover, etc., on the face as well on the neck and different body areas and parts.

[0002] In the cosmetic industry there are known a variety of tools that help to apply cosmetic and beauty products on different areas of the body. For example, a large variety of brushes, sponges and beauty blenders are used to apply makeup and foundation on the face. In particular, most women choose not to use the known gloves when applying lotions, creams, makeup or foundation because, not being professionals, it's easier to control the amount of product with bare skin then with glove.

[0003] The beauticians and professionals that work in a beauty salon or spa need to respect hygiene rules when working on clients and work with single use gloves or gloves that can be properly disinfected so the client don't get infected with any transmitted diseases.

[0004] US 2013 198932 describes a Four-fingered cosmetic glove, for skin care that has an impermeable layer on the outside that is glued to an interior layer which comes in contact with the skin coated with lotion or therapeutic substance that will be applied on the skin. This type of glove has an elastic material at the base. The disadvantage of this solution is that this glove is designed only for applying liquid and semiliquid substances like lotions and creams. Another disadvantage is that a big quantity of the substance applied remains on the glove and is lost which leads to the need of a larger amount of cosmetic product. One other disadvantage of this solution is that the rubber material that the glove is made of makes it harder to put it on and take it off.

[0005] For applying cosmetic and beauty products that have dusty consistency like skin foundation, powder foundation there are known a large variety of tools like brushes, beauty blenders, etc., and their disadvantage is that it is hard to control the quantity of product applied on the skin which makes them hard to use at home if you don't have skills in cosmetic and makeup field. Another disadvantage is that a large quantity of product gets soaked in the brush or spreads in the air because which can be very unpleasant for some allergic or breath sensitive persons.

[0006] One of other disadvantage is that a large quantity of product gets soaked in the brush, sponge, beauty blender and the quantity lost in the process is considerable and can be very upsetting especially because beauty and cosmetic products can be very expansive.

[0007] In the field of cosmetic products that have dusty consistency, there are also known the cosmetic sponges in different shapes, dimensions and textures. Their disadvantage is that they fill very quickly with skin foundation or powder foundation and a part of the cosmetic product is lost. More than this, in time, the sponge becomes overfilled with cosmetic product and they need to be washed and this means that all the skin foundation or powder foundation is lost.

[0008] The common disadvantage of the above solutions is that is time consuming because every touch on the skin covers a small portion of the skin and for a good application with good coverage it is necessary to massage or tap the skin multiple times so the product is well absorbed in to the skin. With this solution the productivity is less if used by a beautician because the goal is to satisfy as many clients possible.

[0009] The technical problem that the invention wishes to solve is to create a cosmetic (makeup) glove destined especially for powder based products or rich creamy products like cosmetic powder, foundation powder and skin foundation and that can also be used fast and efficient by at home, the persons without a professional training in the cosmetic and makeup field without over using and wasting products and it is easy to control the amount applied.

[0010] The cosmetic glove, according to the invention, solves these technical problems because of the special form, meaning, without the big finger and being provided with: some working bends made of a special very thin material like foam sponge with with the thickness of 0.1-2.5 mm with the lengh of 20-230 mm and the width of 10-25 mm, doubled by an impermeable layer of material and applied on the interior of the finger tip that goes over the finger tip on the opposite side of the palm to half length of the fingertip, some adjustable bends on the backhand, on each finger, with the length to be approximate as big as finger length made out of an elastic material that allows adjustment on any hand and some hard frames in quasi-triangle shape, placed between the fingers and provided to help the user put the cosmetic glove on the hand or to remove it.

[0011] The cosmetic glove, according to the invention, presents the following advantages:
  • The applying time for makeup or for the cosmetic product will be considerably shorter because the area covered with a single touch is much wider;
  • The quantity of product used is less because it can be easily controlled by the thin layer of the work bend;
  • It allows an efficient and much easier handling even for the ones without experience in cosmetic and beauty industry because each finger is independent and becomes functional allowing the full covering of the desired area especially around the eyes and nose because these areas have uneven surface;
  • It allows a better coverage of the desired surfaces because of the material use for the working bends;
  • It can also be used by persons with handicap that don't have one or more fingers;
  • The glove is easy to handle because of the hard bends between fingers;
  • The quantity of cosmetic product used is less because of the thin layer of the working bends and because the glove is doubled with an impermeable material, so the lost or absorbed quantity by the working bens is way less.

[0012] Here are some practical examples of the cosmetic glove, according to the invention, in connection with the accompanying drawings, in which:

Example I

[0013] Cosmetic glove, according to the invention, is made of a high quality elastic material that allows anyone to easily put it on and to remove it from the fingers, such as polyester-lycra fabric or similar with the pantyhose material.

[0014] The cosmetic glove can be made out of different kind of materials provided that they have the following characteristics:
  • they are elastic
  • they have a good resistance to pulling so they will not break easily
  • they must be thin layer
  • they must be without porosity

[0015] The cosmetic glove has a special body 1, without the big finger (Fig.1) and it is provided with a working bend 2 applied on the tip of the fingers on the inner side of the hand and doubled with a impermeable material. The working bend 2 goes over the tip of the fingers on the other side and covers the nail up to the opposite side of the palm to half length of the fingertip.

[0016] The working bend 2 is made out of cosmetic sponge or moltoprene foam with the thickness between 0,5-2.5 mm, according to the cosmetic product to be applied, or natural or synthetic hair with a very short length 0.5-2.5 mm, or of any other flufy material with asimilar porosity as of the cosmetic sponge, or silicon. Evidently, the material of the working bend 2 will be choose according to the cosmetic product, both as type, and as thickness. For example, for applying powder foundation, it is recommended to use natural hair with the lengh of 1.5-2.5 mm.

[0017] The lengh of the working bend 2 can be 20-230 mm and the width 10-25 mm and these dimension can be longer or shorter, depending on the desire and preference of the user.

[0018] Depending on the skill of the user, the number of the fingers that have working bend 2 can vary which means that only the index, middle and ring finger can be active (Fig. 2) or only the index and middle finger (Fig.3) or only the index finger (Fig.4).

[0019] The cosmetic glove is also provided with an adjustable bend 3 on the backhand of each finger, placed a small distance from the working bend 2 and it goes close to the finger base. This adjustable bend 3 is made out of an elastic material that can easily permit the adjustment on either hand.

Exemple II

[0020] In a different embodiment, the invention is provided with some Velcro bends 4 that replace the adjustable bends 3 and are made of out of material known as "Velcro". This Velcro bend 4 is positioned in the same position like the adjustable bend 3 (Fig.5) or can be positioned on the lateral side of the fingers (Fig.6). The Velcro bend 4 is intended to help when the glove is put on or taken off and to help the adjustment of the glove on each finger depending on the shape and size of the finger.

[0021] Also, the working bend 2 can fully cover the fingers on both sides of the palm when it is desired to apply other kind of products besides makeup such as creams and lotions. In this case the adjustable bend 3 or the Velcro bend 4 will be positioned on the lateral side of the finger/fingers.

Exemple III

[0022] In a different embodiment, the invention is provided with the working bend 2 on the backside of the palm widther so that when fingers are attached the working bend 2 looks like it covers the entire palm (Fig.7). This embodiment is very useful for applying creams or in the massaje procedure.

Exemple IV

[0023] The cosmetic glove, acoording to the invention, is made in the shape of a semi-glove that dresses only the palm side of the fingers and has three hard frames 5 made in quasi-triangle shape with the base up positioned between fingers, made out of a rigid material, natural fabric or synthetic or ployester etc., and it is intended to easy putting and fixing the glove on and taken it off. In this case, the adjustable bend 3 or the Velcro bend 4 will be applied on the backside of the fingers (Fig.8).

[0024] Because the big finger is missing, the cosmetic glove can have two different working sides/face. The working bend 2 on one side can be made out of natural or synthetic hair and the other side/face can be made out of silicon, foam, cosmetic sponge, blender sponge etc., or one side made of silicon and the other side made of sponge, cosmetic foam etc. The same glove can be used for two different purposes just by turning it the other side on the fingers or hand (Fig.9).

[0025] The cosmetic glove can also be made out of one use materials (disposable material), both in the full and semi-glove embodiment, like polypropylene like the material used for medical equipments provided that the working bend 2, the adjustable bends 3 or the Velcro bends 4 respect material, shape, size requirements, like the cosmetic glove for multiple uses described above.

[0026] The cosmetic glove can be made for the right hand and also for the left hand, in any desired embodiment. The application of the cosmetic product can be made with one hand /glove or with both hands at the same time.

Exemple V

[0027] In this embodiment, the cosmetic glove, according to the invention, is made in the shape of a semi-glove that dresses only the index finger, the middle finger and the ring finger and the working bend 2 is applied on the lateral side of the fingers and goes over the finger tip on the opposite side of the palm and the Velcro bend 4 or the adjustable bend 3 is applied on the backside of the three fingers (Fig.10).

Exemple VI

[0028] In this embodiment, the cosmetic glove is made in the shape of a semi-glove that dresses only three fingers the index finger, the middle finger and the ring finger and these fingers are attached one to another by sewing them on the backside of the palm. The working bend 2 is applied on the entire lengh of the fingers, both on the face and on the back of the palm and the velcro bends 4 are applied on the remained free lateral sides of the ring and index fingers (Fig.11).
