<p id="pa01" num="0001">The present invention relates to a process for producing a flexible abrasive article (40), in sheet or film form, wherein an acqueous suspension SA is layen on a film FB of elastomeric or thermoplastic polymer, the acqueous suspension SA containing elastomeric or thermoplastic polymers PSA of same chemical composition as the film FB.

(Claim 1)Problem to be solved:   how to provide a durable abrasive article with a simplified manufacturing process.</p><p id="pu0002" num="">2. claims: 13, 14<br/>An aqueous suspension comprising polymers and abrasive particles, characterized in that the chemical composition of the components is defined by (parts by weight):- from 30 to 80 parts of water,- from 2 to 20 parts of polymers,- from 10 to 30 parts of abrasive particles,- from 4 to 15 parts of both rheological additives and suspending agent, and- 3 to 20 parts of a functionalized additive selected from paraffin hydrocarbons and saturated fatty acids and their derivatives.
