(54) PROTECTIVE PRESSURE PLATE AND BATTERY MODULE

(57) The present disclosure relates to a protective pressure plate (1) and a battery module. The protective pressure plate (1) comprises a pressure plate body (11) having a strip-like shape. The pressure plate body (11) includes an upper surface (11a) and a lower surface (11b) that are opposed in a thickness direction (Z) of the pressure plate body (11) and two side surfaces (11c) that are opposed in a width direction (Y) of the pressure plate body (11). At least one portion of each of the side surfaces (11c) is recessed toward a center line (110) of the pressure plate body (11) to form a protective recess (lid). The upper surface (11a) of the pressure plate body (11) has a maximum width greater than a maximum width of the lower surface (11b). The protective pressure plate (1) according to the embodiment of the present disclosure can be used to fix the circuit board (5) and protect the bonding wires (6), thereby improving the use safety and stability of the battery module.
