FUNCTIONALIZED ALIPHATIC POLYESTERS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME |
(57) The present invention relates to lactone monomers, which may be biomass-derived substituted
caprolactone monomers, to a synthetic process for producing the same, to functionalized
aliphatic polyester homopolymer obtainable by a ring-opening polymerization (ROP)
of said lactone monomers, to functionalized aliphatic polyester random copolymer obtainable
by a ROP from said lactone monomers, to functionalized aliphatic polyester copolymer
of random and block microstructure obtainable by a ROP of ε-caprolactone or δ-valerolactone
and said lactone monomers and to a respective process of ROP.
