Description

Technical Field

[0001] The invention relates to the technical field of bathroom equipment, in particular to a shower door assembly.

Background Art

[0002] A shower door is typically installed against a wall with at least two sets of connecting assemblies between the shower door and the wall, and the shower door is kept in a vertical state after being mounted. However, since the wall surface of the shower room is usually not completely vertical, the phenomenon that the shower door is not in the vertical state after being mounted may occur if the shower door is completely mounted along the wall surface, so that opening and closing of the shower door are affected. In order to solve the problem, the distances between the upper end and the lower end of the shower door and the wall surface are required to be adjusted during installation so as to ensure that the shower door is in the vertical state.

[0003] To achieve this adjustment, the shower door assembly generally includes a fixed door frame for being fixed to the wall surface, and a mobile door frame connected to a door panel, the fixed door frame and the mobile door frame being connected by at least two sets of connecting assemblies. When the second connecting piece 6 and the third connecting piece 8 are mounted, the mounting shaft 803 is firstly placed in the mounting hole 601, the mounting shaft 803 is rotated to a proper angle, and then the second fastening screw 11 is screwed down, so that the second connecting piece 6 and the third connecting piece 8 are fixed.

[0039] Of course, the first concave-convex structure 6011 and the second concave-convex structure 803 are not necessarily elongated structures extending in the Z direction, but may be of any shape as long as the abutting fit of the first concave-convex structure 6011 and the second concave-convex structure 803 prevents the mounting shaft 803 from rotating in the mounting hole 601, for example, knurling or the like is provided on the side wall of the mounting shaft 803; of course, it is preferable that the first concave-convex structure 6011 and the second concave-convex structure 803 are both elongated structures extending in the Z direction such that the convex of the first concave-convex structure 6011 is embedded in the concave of the second concave-convex structure 803, the convex of the second concave-convex structure 803 is embedded in the concave of the first concave-convex structure 6011, and the first concave-convex structure 6011 and the second concave-convex structure 803 form a barrier for each other to completely prevent the mounting shaft 803 from rotating in the mounting hole 601.

[0040] The third connecting piece 8 is provided with a connecting hole 802, the fourth connecting piece 9 is provided with a connecting shaft 902, and the connecting hole 802 and the connecting shaft 902 both extend in the Z direction; the connecting shaft 902 is placed in the connecting hole 802, the side wall of the connecting hole 802 is provided with a first positioning groove 8021, and the side wall of the connecting shaft 902 is provided with a second positioning groove; and one end of the positioning sheet 19 is embedded in the first positioning groove 8021, and the other end of the positioning sheet 19 is embedded in the second positioning groove.

[0041] The third connecting piece 8 is provided with a first axial end face 801, the fourth connecting piece 9 is provided with a second axial end face 901, and the second axial end face 901 is supported on the first axial end face 801; and the second axial end face 901 is provided with a first groove 9011, and the first axial end face 801 is provided with a first protrusion 8011 matched with the first groove 9011.

[0042] The first grooves 9011 are four, the four first grooves 9011 are uniformly distributed around the rotation axis of the fourth connecting piece 9, and the central angle between two adjacent first grooves 9011 is 90°; the first protrusions 8011 are two, and the central angle between the two first protrusions 8011 is 180°; the two first grooves 9011 with the central angle between each other being 180° are in a group; and the two first grooves 9011 of the same group are matched with the two first protrusions 8011 in one-to-one correspondence.

[0043] Of course, besides the arrangement of the first groove 9011 and the first protrusion 8011, a second groove (not shown) may be provided on the first axial end face 801, and a second protrusion (not shown) matched with the second groove may be provided on the second axial end face 901; and the arrangement of the second protrusion and the second groove may refer to the arrangement of the first protrusion 8011 and the first groove 9011, which will not be described in detail herein. The engagement of the first protrusion 8011 with the first groove 9011 may be replaced by the engagement of the second protrusion with the second groove.

[0044] When the shower door assembly is installed, firstly, a fixed door frame 1 is fixed on a wall of a shower room, a first connecting piece 5 is fixed on the fixed door frame 1; a movable door panel 4, a door panel frame 3 and a fourth connecting piece 9 are fixedly connected; a connecting shaft 902 on the fourth connecting piece 9 is placed in a connecting hole 802 on a third connecting piece 8; and at the moment, one end of a positioning sheet 19 is embedded in a first positioning groove 8021, and the other end of the positioning sheet 19 is embedded in a second positioning groove, the fourth connecting piece 9 and the third connecting piece 8 being kept in a fixed state. Then, a mounting shaft 803 on the third connecting piece 8 is placed in a mounting hole 601 on a second connecting piece 6, and a movable door frame 2 is fixedly connected with the second connecting piece 6. The second connecting piece 6 is moved to a position to be matched with the first connecting piece 5; and after the movable door frame 2 is adjusted to a vertical state, the connecting rod of the first cam mechanism 7 is operated to rotate, so that the eccentric wheel 701 of the first cam mechanism 7 abuts against the first side wall 502 of the first connecting piece 5; and then the first fastening screw 10 is threadably connected to a first threaded hole 604, abutting the first fastening screw 10 against the second side wall 503. The third connecting piece 8 is operated to rotate relative to the second connecting piece 6; and after the movable door panel 4 is in a fully closed position, the second fastening screw 11 is operated to be threadably connected to a second threaded hole 603, so that the second fastening screw 11 abuts against the third connecting piece 8, the second connecting piece 6 and the third connecting piece 8 are fixed, and the shower door assembly is installed.

[0045] After the shower door assembly is installed, the shower door is operated to rotate in the direction of opening the door, and the positioning sheet 19 breaks under the action of operating force, so that the fourth connecting piece 9 can rotate relative to the third connecting piece 8, and the movable door panel 4 can rotate relative to the third connecting piece 8.

[0046] Due to the arrangement of the positioning sheet 19, the movable door panel 4, the door panel frame 3, the third connecting piece 8 and the fourth connecting piece 9 are kept fixed in the installation process of the shower door assembly, so that when the included angle between the movable door panel 4 and the wall surface is adjusted, it avoids the influence of the rotation of the third connecting piece 8 relative to the fourth connecting piece 9, and may reduce the adjustment difficulty of the included angle between the movable door panel 4 and the wall surface, and then the installation difficulty of the shower door assembly.

[0047] Of course, after the shower door assembly is installed, the position of the movable door panel 4 can be adjusted again by loosening the second fastening screw 11, so as to determine or correct the position of the movable door panel 4 again; and the second fastening screw 11 can be tightened after the movable door panel 4 is adjusted to a target position.

[0048] Similarly, after the shower door assembly is installed, the vertical state of the movable door frame 2 and the vertical state of the movable door panel 4 can still be corrected by rotating the first cam mechanism 7 and loosening the first fastening screw 10.

[0049] In the process of installing or adjusting the vertical state of the movable door panel 4, after the movable door frame 2 is adjusted to the vertical state, the connecting rod of the first cam mechanism 7 is operated to rotate, so that the first connecting piece 5 and the second connecting piece 6 can be quickly fixed, the vertical adjustment difficulty of the movable door panel 4 is favorably reduced, and the installation difficulty of the shower door assembly is reduced; and after the first connecting piece 5 and the second connecting piece 6 are tightly fixed by means of the first cam mechanism 7, the first connecting piece 5 and the second connecting piece 6 are fastened by adding the first fastening screw 10, and the connection strength of the first connecting piece 5 and the second connecting piece 6 is further increased.

[0050] During use of the shower door assembly, when the movable door panel 4 is completely opened, the first protrusions 8011 are matched with a group of first grooves 9011; when the movable door panel 4 is in a closed state, the first protrusions 8011 are in contact fit with another group of first grooves 9011; when the movable door panel 4 is in the door opening and closing process, the first protrusion 8011 is in contact fit with the rest part of the first axial end face 801; therefore, due to the matching of the first protrusion 8011 and the first groove 9011, the movable door panel 4 can be kept fixed in a closed or fully opened state; in addition, due to the fact that the first protrusion 8011 is not matched with the first groove 9011 in the door opening and closing process of the movable door panel 4, the fourth connecting piece 9, the door panel frame 3 and the movable door panel 4 are lifted by a certain distance in the Z direction; and the movable door panel 4 is favorably lifted to the ground when the door is opened and closed, friction between the movable door panel 4 and the ground can be avoided, and the movable door panel 4 is prevented from being damaged by impact.

[0051] Preferably, the first concave-convex structure 6011 and the second threaded hole 603 are disposed on both sides of the axis of the mounting hole 601, that is, the first concave-convex structure 6011 does not cover the 360° range of the whole circumferential side wall of the mounting hole 601; the first concave-convex structure 6011 is arranged on the side wall within the 180° range in the circumferential direction of the mounting hole 601, and the second threaded hole 603 is arranged within the range where the first concave-convex structure 6011 is not arranged, so that the included angle between the movable door panel 4 and the wall surface is adjusted when the second fastening screw 11 is loosened. The mounting shaft 803 is rotated close to one side of the second threaded hole 603, so that it can prevent the mounting shaft 803 from not being rotated due to contact between the first concave-convex structure 6011 and the second concave-convex structure 803, ensuring smooth rotation of the mounting shaft 803 in the mounting hole 601.

[0052] It should be noted that the first connecting piece 5, the second connecting piece 6 and the third connecting piece 8 can be matched not only for mounting and adjusting the movable door panel 4, but also for mounting and adjusting the fixed door panel; the first connecting piece 5 and the second connecting piece 6 can be matched for mounting and adjusting the vertical state of the fixed door panel, and the second connecting piece 6 and the third connecting piece 8 can be matched for adjusting the included angle between the fixed door panel and the wall surface; therefore, the included angle between the fixed door panel and the wall surface is not necessarily fixed to 90°.

[0053] With regard to the structural principle and connection relation of each part of the second connecting assembly, the fifth connecting piece 14 and the sixth connecting piece 15 matched with the second cam mechanism 18 in the second connecting assembly is similar to the first connecting piece 5 and the second connecting piece 6 matched with the first cam mechanism 7 in the second connecting assembly, which will not be described further herein. The matching of the sixth connecting piece 15, the seventh connecting piece 16 and the eighth connecting piece 17 in the second connecting assembly is different from that of the second connecting piece 6, the third connecting piece 8 and the fourth connecting piece 9 in the first connecting assembly. The matching of the sixth connecting piece 15, the seventh connecting piece 16 and the eighth connecting piece 17 in the second connecting assembly can be variously selected. For example, the seventh connecting piece 16 can have the same structure as the third connecting piece 8 for the convenience of manufacture and moldmaking, except that the seventh connecting piece 16 and the sixth connecting piece 15 is not fastened to each other (referring to Fig. 7, a screw is not mounted in a threaded hole of the sixth connecting piece 15 to fasten the seventh connecting piece 16). The seventh connecting piece 16 can be moved in the Z direction with respect to the sixth connecting piece 15; and during the rotation of the movable door panel 4, the seventh connecting piece 16 ascends and descends along with the movable door panel 4 in the Z direction. Of course, preferably, a concave-convex structure is not arranged in a mounting hole (similar to a mounting hole 601 of the second connecting piece 6) of the sixth connecting piece 15, and a concave-convex structure is not provided on a mounting shaft of the seventh connecting piece 16 (similar to a mounting shaft 803 of the third connecting piece 8), so that the seventh connecting piece 16 can rotate more smoothly with respect to the sixth connecting piece 15. Alternatively, the seventh connecting piece 16 is still fixedly connected to the sixth connecting piece 15; however, the axial end face of the seventh connecting piece 16 is not in contact with the axial end face of the eighth connecting piece 17, and the eighth connecting piece can be moved in the Z direction with respect to the seventh connecting piece 16, regardless of the axial end face shapes of the seventh connecting piece 16 and the eighth connecting piece 17.

[0054] Finally, it should be emphasized that the above are only preferred embodiments of the present invention and are not intended to limit the present invention. For those skilled in the art, the present invention may have various changes and modifications. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement, etc. made within the spirit and principle of the invention should be included in the protection scope of the present invention.
