[0001] The present invention relates to a translation system for an outboard and inboard
tender with respect to a garage of a ship.
[0002] A garage of a ship comprises a floor, a ceiling and at least one side wall extending
at least as far as next to a door, provided for the passage of said tender and arranged
on a plane essentially orthogonal to said ceiling. The tender, when idle in the garage,
advantageously rests on said floor and has its longitudinal vertical median plane
parallel to said at least one side wall.
[0003] The garage is a service compartment, which in the ship occupies a very limited space,
which limits the space for the translation operations of an outboard and inboard tender.
Moreover, the door of the garage is sometimes closed by means of a corresponding hatch,
which pivots around a horizontal axis arranged above the level of the floor of the
garage and, when open, at times extends the floor to the outside the ship, further
complicating the aforesaid operations.
[0004] Often, to make translation for an outboard and inboard tender possible with respect
to the garage of the ship, lifting and lowering means of the tender must be arranged
outside the garage, occupying another compartment of the ship, for example above the
garage. An object of the present invention is to provide a translation system for
an outboard and inboard tender with respect to a garage of a ship, which is contained
inside a garage, even of small size, limited above all in height, and which allows
the operations for storing the tender in the garage to be carried out in a simple
and easy manner.
[0005] Another object of the present invention is to provide a translation system for an
outboard and inboard tender with respect to a garage of a ship, provided with a hatch
for closing the door of the garage that pivots around a horizontal axis arranged above
the level of the floor of the garage and, when open, extends said floor to the outside
of the ship.
[0006] In view of these objects, the present invention provides a translation system for
an outboard and inboard tender with respect to a garage of a ship, whose essential
feature forms the subject matter of claim 1.
[0007] Further advantageous features of the invention are described in the dependent claims.
[0008] Features and advantages of the invention will be more apparent from the detailed
description below of an example of embodiment, with reference to the accompanying
drawing, which shows important details for the invention, and from the claims.
[0009] The features illustrated here must not necessarily be understood as being to scale
and are represented so that the characteristics according to the invention are clearly
highlighted.
[0010] The different features can be produced individually or in any combination with one
another, as variants of the invention.
