(54) CONNECTOR AND CONNECTION DEVICE


(57) A connector (2) includes a fixed housing (4) and a movable block (5) movable with respect to the fixed housing (4). The movable block (5) is configured to allow the mating connector (3) to be fitted to the movable block (5) from above the movable block (5). The movable block (5) includes a movable housing (7) and a contact (8). The movable housing (7) is movable in an upward-downward direction (D1) and a first direction (D2, D3) perpendicular to the upward-downward direction (D2, D3) with respect to the fixed housing (4). The contact (8) includes a first held portion (81) held at the fixed housing (4), a second held portion (82) held at the movable housing (7), and an elastic portion (83) connecting the first held portion (81) to the second held portion (82). The movable housing (7) includes an attachment portion (71) to which the contact (8) is attached and a tilt restrictor (73) that restricts a range in which the movable housing (7) is tilted with respect to the fixed housing (4) along the plane. At least a part of the first tilt restrictor (73) is provided on a lower surface (721) of the end portion (72). The part of the first tilt restrictor (73) is located at a higher position than a lowermost surface (711) of the attachment portion (71).
