[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a compact container for cosmetics including a second
inner container configured to be placed on the top of a first inner container lid
of a first inner container and to be sealed with the first inner container lid. With
this configuration, different cosmetics may be contained in the first and second inner
containers, respectively, and only the second inner container may be opened and used.
In addition, when not in use, the cosmetics contained in the first and second inner
containers may be completely separated from each other. In addition, when the first
inner container lid is opened, the first inner container lid may be used as a palette.
Thus, the cosmetics of the first and second inner containers may be easily mixed and
used without carrying a separate palette or adding a separate palette configuration
to the compact container.
[Background Art]
[0002] In general, color cosmetics contain pigments and improve aesthetics through adjustment
of skin tone, unlike basic cosmetics that nourish the skin.
[0003] These color cosmetics are largely classified into base makeup that makes skin color
even and covers skin imperfections and point makeup that partially enhances the three-dimensional
look of lips, eyes, and nails. Base makeup usually includes makeup base, foundation,
powder, etc., and point makeup usually includes lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, and the
like.
[0004] In addition, foundation, which is a kind of base makeup, is classified into solid
foundation, liquid foundation, and gel foundation depending on the form of cosmetic.
Solid foundation has excellent covering function, but tends to clump at the time of
correcting makeup. Liquid foundation has excellent adhesion, but has poor persistence.
For this reason, recently, gel foundation having excellent durability and good adhesion
when applied to the skin is preferred.
[0005] Briefly, explaining packaging of gel foundation and use thereof, a user presses a
glass or tube container filled with gel foundation to discharge the gel foundation
onto the user's hand or a cosmetic tool such as a palette. Then, the user applies
the gel foundation to the skin using a puff or by hand. Recently, a method in which
gel foundation is impregnated into a foamed urethane foam and embedded in a compact
container is widely used.
[0006] Korean Patent No.
10-1734181 (Title: COMPACT CONTAINER CAPABLE OF ACCOMMODATING TWO COSMETICS) discloses a configuration
consisting of an outer container having an open top, an outer container lid coupled
to one side of the outer container, an inner container mounted inside the outer container
and having a first accommodating space therein, and an inner container lid coupled
to one side of the inner container and having a lower portion in which a second accommodating
space is formed, wherein the second accommodating space is formed to face the first
accommodating space, and the second accommodating space and the first accommodating
space are sealed together when the inner container is closed with the inner container
lid.
[0007] That is, according to the configuration, when the inner container is closed with
the inner container lid, the inner container lid is provided with the second accommodating
space that faces the first accommodating space of the inner container. Accordingly,
when the inner container is closed with the inner container lid, the first accommodating
space of the inner container and the second accommodating space of the inner container
lid are sealed together with the inner container lid.
[0008] However, in the case of the above-described compact container, the first accommodating
space of the inner container and the second accommodating space of the inner container
lid are opened together when the inner container lid is opened. Thus, even when only
a cosmetic contained in the second accommodating space of the inner container lid
is used, a cosmetic contained in the first accommodating space of the inner container
is also exposed to the outside.
[0009] In addition, since the screen net is installed in the second accommodating space
to separate the first and second accommodating spaces facing each other, the second
accommodating space cannot accommodate solid cosmetics. In addition, despite the presence
of the screen net, it is impossible to completely separate the first and second accommodating
spaces from each other, so there is a possibility of a cosmetic in the first accommodating
space and a cosmetic in the second accommodating space being mixed.
[0010] In addition, according to the related art, when the first accommodating space is
filled with gel foundation, the second accommodating space is filled with solid powder,
the inner container lid is closed, and the foundations are stored, the moisture of
the gel foundation contained in the first accommodating space rapidly evaporates and
the gel foundation is adsorbed to the solid powder contained in the second accommodating
space. Consequently, the gel foundation contained in the first accommodating space
is hardened and thus cannot be used. Accordingly, in the related art, there is a problem
in that the first and second accommodating spaces cannot be filled with gel foundation
and solid powder, respectively.
[0011] In addition, in the related art, it is possible to store two or more cosmetics in
the first accommodating space of the inner container and the second accommodating
space of the inner container lid, but a function to mix and use the cosmetics is not
provided.

20 through a hinge pin.
[0053] In addition, a second ring-shaped sealing protrusion 34 is formed on the top surface
of the first inner container lid 30, and a cosmetic accommodating space 43 of the
second inner container 40 is closed and sealed through the second ring-shaped sealing
protrusion 34. This configuration will be described further in description of the
second inner container 40.
[0054] The second inner container 40 is rotatably hinge-coupled to the outer container 10.
A second cosmetic storage space 43 is formed in the second inner container 40 and
is filled with a solid type or balm type second cosmetic 80, or an impregnation sponge
impregnated with a gel type or liquid type second cosmetic may be accommodated in
the second cosmetic storage space 43. In addition, cosmetics may be accommodated through
various schemes.
[0055] In addition, a fixing ring 44 for fixing the second cosmetic 80 or the impregnation
sponge may be coupled to the second cosmetic storage space 43 of the second inner
container 40. Further, a cosmetic dish (not shown) in which the second cosmetic 80

is coupled to the second cosmetic storage space 43 of the second inner container 40.
The cosmetic dish may be formed of various materials such as synthetic resin or metal,
and it is particularly preferable if the cosmetic dish is formed of an aluminum material
having a lightweight and excellent durability.
[0056] Further, the second inner container 40 is placed on the first inner container lid
30. The second cosmetic storage space 43 of the second inner container 40 is opened
and closed through the second ring-shaped sealing protrusion 34 of the first inner
container lid 30, and when the second inner container 40 is closed while being placed
on the top of the first inner container lid 30, the second inner container 40 is press-fitted
into the second ring-shaped sealing protrusion 34 of the first inner container lid
30, so that the second cosmetic storage space 43 of the second inner container 40
may be sealed. When described on the basis of the present embodiment, the second inner
container 40 is fitted into the inside of the second ring-shaped sealing protrusion
34 in such a way that a lower circumferential portion of the second inner container
40 comes in close contact with the inner side of the second ring-shaped sealing protrusion
34, so that the upper portion of the first inner container lid 30 closes and seals
the second cosmetic storage space 43 of the second inner container 40 while being
detachably coupled to the second inner container 40.
[0057] To further explain on the basis of this embodiment, when not in use, the second inner
container 40 is rotated while being placed on the first inner container lid 30 and
the second cosmetic storage space 43 is closed and sealed through the second ring-shaped
sealing protrusion 34 of the first inner container lid 30. When in use, the second
cosmetic storage space 43 is opened through rotation that reverses the up-down direction.
[0058] In addition, a puff storage 42 is formed on the top surface of the second inner container

inner container 40 based on a state in which the second inner container 40 is placed
on the first inner container lid 30.
[0059] In addition, the ring-shaped protrusion 41 is configured to be in contact with the
surface of the mirror 16 of the lid 11 when the lid 11 is closed. Accordingly, the
second inner container 40 and the first inner container lid 30 are sequentially pressed
by the lid 11 to enhance sealing of the first and second inner containers 20 and 40.
[0060] In addition, a hinge portion 45 for rotation of the second inner container 40 is
formed on one side of the second inner container 40, and the hinge portion 45 is provided
with a refill hook 48 for refill of the second inner container 40. The refill hook
48 has a plate shape and is fitted into the refill hook insertion groove 18 of the
outer container 10 described above. The refill hook 48 is formed at one surface thereof
with a fitting protrusion 49 to further reinforce the fastening force between the
refill hook 48 and the outer container 10. In the drawings according to an embodiment
of the present invention, the refill hook 48 is shown as to have a rectangular plate
shape, but it is not limited thereto and may be formed in various shapes. As described
above, according to the present invention, the second inner container 40, which is
almost exhausted of cosmetics, can be easily attached to or detached from the outer
container 10 for the refill work due to the configuration of the refill hook 48 of
the second inner container 40.
[0061] Hinge coupling portions of the second inner container 40 and the first inner container
lid 30, that is, the hinge portion 45 of the second inner container 40 and a hinge
block 35 of the first inner container lid 30 are disposed while facing each other
in order to prevent the second inner container 40 and the first inner container lid
30 from interfering with each other when opened or closed. As shown in FIG. 7, when
the second inner container 40 and the first inner container lid 30 are fully opened,
an angle (a) between the axis (x) connecting the center of the second inner container
40 to the center of the first inner container 20 and the axis (y) connecting the center
of the first inner container 20 to the center of the first inner container lid 30
is preferably 180 degrees or less.
[0062] When an impregnation member impregnated with the first cosmetic 50 is inserted into
the first inner container 20, the impregnation member is impregnated with the first
cosmetic 50.
[0063] In addition, the impregnation member may consist of one or more selected from the
group consisting of butadiene rubber (BR), styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), natural
rubber (NR), natural rubber styrene butadiene rubber (NRSBR), acrylonitrile-butadiene
rubber (NBR), wet urethane, dry urethane, polyether, polyester, polyvinyl chloride,
polyethylene, latex, silicone, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), nitrile rubber, butyl rubber,
and neoprene.
[0064] The fastener 60 is coupled to the first inner container 20 so that the impregnation
member impregnated with the first cosmetic 50 is fixed in the first inner container
20.
[0065] The fastener 60 may consist of an adhesion portion 62 formed in the inner side thereof
and a coupling portion 63 formed to extend downward from the adhesion portion 62.
In addition, the adhesion portion 62 is seated on the top of the inner wall of the
first inner container 20 to prevent an impregnation member 50 from being separated.
A coupling groove 61 is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the coupling
portion 63, and the coupling groove 61 is coupled to a coupling projection 22a formed
on the inner circumferential surface of the first outer wall 22 of the first inner
container 20 to prevent the fastener 60 from being separated from the first inner
container 20.
[0066] In addition, the lid 11 of the outer container 10 closes the outer container 10 while
blocking the first inner container 20, the first inner container lid 30, and the second
inner container 40 from the outside.
[0067] FIGS. 5 to 9 are drawings showing use of a compact container for cosmetics according
to one embodiment of the present invention, and a process of using the compact container
for cosmetics according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described
with reference to FIGS. 5 to 9.
[0068] First, referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a compact container
for cosmetics according to one embodiment of the present invention, sequentially showing
opening of an outer container lid and opening of a second inner container by rotation,
and FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view showing use of a second cosmetic contained in
the opened second inner container shown in FIG. 5.
[0069] As shown in the figures, the lid 11 of the outer container 10 is opened, and then
the puff 70 is separated from the puff storage 42 of the second inner container 40.
Subsequently, the second inner container 40 is rotated so that the second cosmetic
storage space 43 and the second cosmetic 80 accommodated therein are opened upward,
and then the second cosmetic 80 contained in the second cosmetic storage space 43
is used using the puff 70 or other cosmetic tools.
[0070] Next, referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing opening of
the first inner container by rotation of the first inner container lid when the second
inner container is opened according to FIGS. 5 and 6, and FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional
view showing use of a first cosmetic contained in the opened first inner container
shown in FIG. 7.
[0071] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the second inner container 40 is detached from the first
inner container lid 30 through rotation that reverses the up-down direction, and the
second cosmetic storage space 43 is opened. Then, the first inner container lid 30
is rotated to open the first inner container 20. Consequently, the first cosmetic
50 of the first inner container 20 and the second cosmetic 80 of the second inner
container 40 are exposed to the outside. Then, when the first inner container lid
30 is inverted through rotation that reverses the up-down direction, the cosmetic
mixing groove 31 is directed upward. In this configuration, the first and second cosmetics
50 and 80 may be used by dipping the puff 70 in the first and second cosmetics 50
and 80. In this case, the first and second cosmetics 50 and 80 may be mixed in the
cosmetic mixing groove 31 of the first inner container lid 30.
[0072] In addition, upon opening, the first cosmetic 50 of the first inner container 20
and the second cosmetic 80 of the second inner container 40 may be used individually.
[0073] Next, referring to FIG. 9, FIG. 9 is a perspective view showing refill of the second
inner container of the compact container for cosmetics according to an embodiment
of the present invention.
[0074] As shown in the drawing, when the cosmetic 80 accommodated in the second inner container
40 is almost exhausted so that the user wants to refill the cosmetics, the refill
hook 48 of the second inner container 40 is separated from the refill hook insertion
groove 18 of the outer container 10 by pulling out the second inner container 40 from
the outer container 10, and, as shown in FIG. 9, the refill hook 48 of a new second
inner container 40 is inserted again into the refill hook insertion groove 18 of the
outer container 10 to refill the second inner container 40.
[0075] As explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8, the compact container for cosmetics
according to the present invention includes a first inner container and a second inner
container configured to be placed on the top of the first inner container lid of the
first inner container and to be sealed with the first inner container lid. With this
configuration, different cosmetics may be contained in the first and second inner
containers, respectively, and only the second inner container may be opened and used.
[0076] In addition, the compact container according to the present invention includes a
first inner container and a second inner container configured to be placed on the
top of the first inner container lid of a first inner container and to be sealed with
the first inner container lid. With this configuration, in the single compact container,
different cosmetics may be stored in different containers and may be used individually.
In addition, the different containers may be completely separated from each other,
thereby preventing mixing between cosmetics contained in the containers.
[0077] In addition, since the first inner container lid may be used as a palette, cosmetics
contained in the first and second inner containers may be mixed using the first inner
container lid. Accordingly, a user may easily mix and use different kinds of cosmetics
