(54) FABRIC FOR WETSUIT AND WETSUIT COMPRISING SAID FABRIC

(57) A fabric for wetsuits is provided, the fabric having heat retention, stretchability, and quick drying properties. The fabric for wetsuits is formed by bonding a cloth of a weft knitted fabric plait knitted from polypropylene multifilament threads and elastic threads onto one or both surfaces of a sponge sheet made of chloroprene foamed rubber. Furthermore, the elastic threads of this cloth are heat-fused polyurethane elastic fibers, and the elastic threads of the weft knitted fabric are heat fused to each other. Moreover, the elastic threads are heat fused to each other by heat setting at 100 to 140°C.
