(54) A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A BRICKWORK MEMBER


(57) A method of manufacturing brickwork members is provided. The method includes: providing a mould defining a base and four upstanding walls extending from said base so as to define a receptacle for receiving a deformable building material, e.g. clay, therein; creating textured surface features on the base of the mould; c) dispensing a deformable building material into the mould; and d) applying pressure to the deformable building material within the mould. The step of applying pressure to the deformable building material imprints the textured surface features of the base onto a surface of the deformable building material.
