(54)	APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SANITIZING ITEMS WITH OZONE GAS

(57) Apparatus and method for sanitizing items with ozone, the apparatus comprising a disinfection chamber which has an entrance door and an exit door, an entrance antechamber that has an external entrance, an exit antechamber that has an external exit door a motorized item transport system an ozone generator, an ozone destroy system, a gas extraction system, sensing means, a control and power system, the doors being automatic. The apparatus optionally comprises a heating system and/or second heating system and/or a third heating system. The method comprises using the apparatus and components therein. A non-transitory computer readable medium may contain instructions for operating the apparatus for implementing the method.
