OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The object of the present invention, as established by the title of the invention,
is a bracelet carrying replaceable messages of all types characterised in that it
is designed in a way that allows for different sets of messages to be displayed on
the same support of the bracelet.
[0002] The present invention is characterised by the special design and configuration of
the bracelet, which allows for different messages to be quickly arranged in a simple,
practical and visual manner.
[0003] Therefore, the present invention falls within the scope of bracelets and armbands.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0004] Up to the present, bracelets have had a decorative purpose and have been designed
in the geometry and materials thereof which fulfil a merely aesthetic function, and
if they do contain messages, they are usually short and engraved, and therefore are
not able to be replaced by others if needed.
[0005] As such, the object of the present invention is to create a bracelet that can carry
several different messages which are easily replaceable such that they act as a reminder
to the user of the information carried on the bracelet, wherein the bracelet and the
support elements for the messages have features such as the ones described below,
the essential nature of which is described in the first claim.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The object of the present invention is a bracelet carrying multiple messages which
can replaced with others.
[0007] The bracelet comprises a cord with an adjustable length that has cooperating opening
and closing means on the ends thereof, the bracelet having throughout the length thereof
at least one fixable stop on the cord of the bracelet which divides the length of
the bracelet into several segments, supports carrying messages being able to be introduced
through one of the ends.
[0008] The adjustable length of the cord can be achieved in a first embodiment by means
of a stretching flexible elastic segment able to return to the original form thereof.
It can also be achieved with a design of the cord which defines a segment with an
adjustable length.
[0009] The supports carrying the information can have a different geometry and nature, in
a first embodiment the supports carrying the information can be beads with a hole
through which the cord passes, wherein spacers are further arranged between the beads.
[0010] In another possible embodiment, the supports carrying the information can be hanging
pieces, having a clasp joined in a fixed manner on the hanging piece, which is joined
to a sliding ring, either directly or by means of an intermediate ring.
[0011] Said sliding ring runs along the free segment of the cord defined by the stops and/or
the ends of the cord.
[0012] By way of example, here we will describe the design and possible use of these bracelets:
beads with interchangeable messages especially developed so that each person can have
control of certain information, such as the goals they have reached, recognising and
analysing improper behaviour throughout the day, looking for ways to change this behaviour
so as to help make each day positive. To do so, in one possible embodiment of the
bracelet, the beads can be in several sets with different colours and/or with different
information, such as the initials of the days of the week.
[0013] In this manner, every night before going to bed, the owner of the bracelet can analyse
the day and will place a black or white bead with the letter of the day of the week
on the bracelet. Black if the day was negative, white if the day was positive.
[0014] Thanks to this simple operation, they can assess the actions, information and situations
they experienced throughout the day in order to thereby find a solution about how
to improve the negative ones and, as a result, improve their life in general. At the
end of the week they will be able to see how many days were white and how many were
black, and thereby evaluate it. The goal is to make all of the days white, or in other
words, positive.
[0015] Thanks to the features described, a bracelet is carrying replaceable information
is achieved which has a length that is adjustable to the geometry of the wearer, wherein
the means carrying information are support units with different styles and designs
having the particular feature of being able to be relocated within the bracelet and
able to be exchanged for others as needed or desired.
[0016] Except when indicated otherwise, all of the technical and scientific elements used
in this specification have the meaning commonly understood by a person with average
skill in the art to which this invention belongs. When this invention is put into
practice, methods and materials may be used that are similar or equivalent to the
ones described in the specification.
[0017] Throughout the description and the claims, the word "comprise" and its variants are
not intended to exclude other technical features, additions, components or steps.
For those skilled in the art, other objects, advantages and features of the invention
will be deduced from both the description and the practical use of the invention.
EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES
[0018] As a complement to the description provided herein, and for the purpose of helping
to make the features of the invention more readily understandable, in accordance with
a preferred practical exemplary embodiment thereof, said description is accompanied
by a set of drawings which, by way of illustration and not limitation, represent the
following.
In figure 1 we can see a representation of one possible embodiment of the bracelet
object of the invention.
Figure 2 shows the bracelet wherein all the beads in the first sector have a different
colour than the beads shown in figure 1.
Figure 3 shows the bracelet wherein the beads in the first sector have different colours.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0019] In light of the figures, a preferred embodiment of the proposed invention is described
below.
[0020] In figure 1 we can see that the bracelet object of the invention comprises a cord
(9) with an adjustable length wherein at the ends of the cord (9) cooperating joining
and opening means (1) are arranged.
[0021] On said cord throughout the length thereof, at least one fixable stop (5) on the
cord can be arranged defining different sectors on which different types of information
supports can be arranged.
[0022] In the embodiment shown in figure 1, there are two fixable stops (5) such that between
each end of the cord and each fixable stop (5) two sectors of the cord (9) are defined,
a first sector on which a first type of information support is arranged, consisting
of a series of beads (2) on which graphic information or characters (3) is arranged.
These beads can be separated from one another by means of spacers.
[0023] The second sector defined on the cord (9) corresponds to a sector wherein a second
type of information support has been arranged, consisting of hanging pieces (10) to
which a clasp (7) is fixed and on which a ring is arranged for support on the cord.
[0024] In the embodiment shown in figure 1, the hanging pieces (10) are preferably connected
to the cord (9) through the clasps (7), on which an intermediate ring (6) is arranged,
and on this a hanging ring (8) through which the cord (9) passes.
[0025] In one possible embodiment, the final length of the cord (9) is adjusted by means
of a stretchable segment (4).
[0026] In a preferred embodiment, the beads are placed on the upper portion of the bracelet
once it is placed on the wrist of the arm, while the hanging pieces carrying information
are arranged on the rear face of the wrist of wearer.
[0027] On one side of the cord, which is generally on the lower portion of the hand, four
(or more) rings are placed which can be made of different materials, with which the
letters or symbols that will hang in view will be supported.
[0028] The beads used can be several sets of beads, wherein each set has a different colour
and is marked with information that inspires us or helps us remember something. Thus,
for example, if there are seven beads in total, each one can represent one day of
the week and have information engraved on it, such as the initial of the day of the
week. The bracelet can contain three sets of seven beads, wherein each set is a different
colour, for example, white, black and gray, wherein neither the number of bead sets
nor the colour of each bead set are limiting.
[0029] Having thus adequately described the nature of the present invention, as well as
how to put it into practice, it must be noted that, within its essential nature, the
invention may be carried out according to other embodiments differing in detail from
that set out by way of example, which the protection sought would equally cover, provided
that the fundamental principle thereof is not altered, changed or modified.
