(54) JACKET THAT ALLOWS THE TRANSPORT OF ONE OR TWO CHILDREN

(57) The present invention is placed in the field of clothing, in particular, in that of jackets or clothes covers, in particular, in that of jackets (1) for adults and, more particularly, for women who need to carry two babies or two children or for pregnant women who need to carry a baby or child.

Description

Technical field

[0001] The present invention is placed in the field of clothing, in particular, in that of jackets or clothes covers, in particular in that of jackets for adults and, more particularly, for women who need to carry two babies or two children or for pregnant women who need to carry a baby or a child.

Background of the invention

[0002] Nowadays, there are many ways to transport newborn babies, such as babies, or to transport children, for example, small children under the age of 6. Indeed, very often, adults use prams and strollers of various types, sizes and often equipped with accessories that increase the comfort of the child.

[0003] An alternative way and particularly recommended by broad scientific literature is to situate the baby or child in contact with the adult, especially with the mother, since this physical contact is good for the psycho-aptitude health of the child. To this purpose, many devices have been developed that promote such physical contact between mother and child, for example the so-called baby carriers, that is a combination of fabric and straps allows the child to be kept substantially attached to the womb or back of the adult carrying it. In particular, the child or baby can be placed in front of the adult or back to the adult, thus allowing the child, in the latter mode, to see the same things that the adult carrying him sees.

[0004] During the cold periods of the year or in situations of rain or wind, in order to prevent that the child or baby from get cold and/or rain when lie fixed inside the baby carrier or similar means, it must be carefully dressed. However, although dressed, he/she remains partially uncovered in face areas so that it can always be subject to rain and/or air blows which can cause the onset of colds or illnesses.

[0005] Furthermore, as the child grows and reaches specific dimensions, in consideration of the physiognomy of the people, especially that of women, and also in consideration of the weight loaded on the spine of the person carrying the child, it is no longer possible to host the baby on a baby carrier placed in front of the person, but it must be placed on a baby carrier placed on the back of the person. In this situation, the child must be carefully dressed in order not to catch cold and/or rain, while remaining the inconvenience of to be exposed to possible blows of air and/or rain.

[0006] A further situation to consider is that of a pregnant woman (pregnant or expectant), who needs clothes to go outside that cover her womb, especially in the lower part, thus to avoid cooling of that part.

[0007] Pregnant women have often to manage a baby or child, in addition to the one they carry in their womb, therefore, when they move outside the home in cold seasons or in rainy or windy situations, they need a garment that best covers both their womb and their baby or child.

[0008] Furthermore, when the second child is born, there is a need to satisfactorily cover both babies or children or the baby and the child, when they are brought outside in cold seasons or in rainy or windy situations. For this purpose, typically, both babies or children are dressed in special clothing that protects them in such situations.

[0009] Nowadays, all the different situations above described require the adoption of various items of clothing, such as various jackets for adults and children, which must be gradually changed according to the different needs and different phases of family development. This solution, while limiting the problem of wind blows, does not solve it.

Summary of the invention

[0010] The problem addressed by the present invention is therefore that of providing a single garment that, considering to the contact between parent-child, allows to solve, at the same time, all the aforementioned problems, or that allows to effectively solve all the situations listed above, and, moreover, that allows to solve the problem of he blows of air that still has not been solved in all the above situations.

[0011] Therefore, the present invention solves the aforementioned problem by means of the jacket (1) and the methods which see it used as outlined in the annexed claims, the definitions of which are an integral part of the present description, thus allowing to have a single garment to be able to carry babies or children outside during cold seasons or in rainy or windy situations, and which also solves the problem of a woman, newly pregnant with a baby or child or of the presence of two babies, a baby and a child or two children.

[0012] Moreover, as an additional advantage, the adopted solution allows to keep the body of the baby/s and/or child/children as warm, thanks to the heat is developed by the adult carrying them.

[0013] Furthermore, as a further additional advantage, no particularly or expensive materials are used, nor technical solutions which, in the daily practice of adults who have to manage one or more children, are complex and impractical for reasons of time.

[0014] The find of the present invention, i.e. the jacket (1) is indeed extremely practical and adapts to all the above situations in a practical and fast way.

[0015] This invention, using materials already available on the market, therefore, it will be particularly advantageous in terms of economy for large-scale industrial application.

[0016] In particular, the invention relates to a jacket (1) which allows the transposition of one or two babies or one or two children. Indeed, said baby/s or child/children is/are hosted inside traditional baby carriers or similar devices worn by the people carrying them and then, by wearing the jacket (1) it is possible effectively to protect the baby/s or child/childrena from cold, rain and wind.

[0017] Another object is a method for carrying a baby or child placed on the front or back of person. The child's arrangement on the back is particularly preferred in case the child is already medium-sized, typically for children from 2 to 6 years.

[0018] Another object is a method for carrying two babies or two children or a baby and a child.

[0019] A further object is a method for carrying a baby or child by a pregnant woman.

[0020] Finally, a further object is the use of the jacket (1) by pregnant women to carry one or two babies, one or two children or a baby and a child.

[0021] It is evident that the jacket (1) of the present invention will allow to adapt to all the aforementioned situations between which there is not often clear distinction, since the use of the jacket (1) is more controlled by real practical needs rather that from pre-established methods of bearing, thus allowing it to be suitable for all the transitory phases of the growth of children and the family unit.

[0022] Further features and advantages of the jacket (1) of the invention and the methods of use will result from the description of the embodiment examples of the invention, provided as an specification of the invention.

Detailed description of the invention

[0024] For the purposes of the present document, the terms "upper", "lower", "right", "left", "rear", "front", "vertical", "horizontal" and related derivatives refer to oriented concepts in Fig. 1.

[0025] However, it should be understood that the concepts can take various alternative orientations, unless where expressly noted otherwise.

[0026] As used in this document, the term "and/or", when used in a list of two or more items, means that any of the listed items can be used alone, or in any combination of two or more of the listed items.

[0027] For example, whether a composition is described as containing components A, B and/or C, the composition may contain only A; only B; only C; A and B in combination; A and C in combination; B and C in combination; or A, B and C in combination.

[0028] The terms "comprises", "comprising" or any other variation thereof, means to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, so that a jacket, zipper, etc. which comprises a list of items not only include those items, but may include other items not expressly listed or related to that jacket, zipper, method, use, etc.

[0029] An element followed by "comprises ... a ..." does not prevent, without further constraints, the existence of further identical elements in the jacket, method or use which comprises the element.

[0030] An object of the present invention is a jacket (1) comprising on the front part two divisible zippers (2, 3) arranged vertically along the entire jacket, wherein said divisible zippers are separated by a fabric element (5) having a length comprised from 10 cm to 50 cm, and further comprising on the back a divisible zipper (4) arranged vertically along the entire jacket.

[0031] It has indeed been surprisingly found that the jacket (1) allows simultaneously to satisfy all the following situations:
  • covering the trunk of pregnant women, in particular the womb, in particular the lower part of womb,
  • carrying a baby and, when that baby grows up, carrying a child,
  • carrying a baby or child by a pregnant woman,
  • carry two babies or two children or a baby and a child.
with only one garment, thus avoiding to change jacket to an adult and/or children, when the baby grows up and becomes a child or when you have two babies or two children.

[0032] In particular, the transport of babies or children, also in the present invention, is typically carried out by means of baby carriers or other devices which perform the same function and therefore, they must be worn by both adults and the baby or child, and allow keeping the baby or child close to the adult carrying him, without him falling due to gravity or loss of balance.

[0033] In the present invention, it must be understood that the jacket (1) does not perform the function of supporting the baby/s or child/children, which is instead performed by baby carriers or devices with similar functionality, it being understood that the jacket (1) it is used for the transport of babies and children in that it covers them. The transport of babies or children achieved with the jacket (1) allows them to remain well protected and warmed by the body of the person carrying them and by their own heat.

[0034] The term jacket (1) comprises jacket, coat, garment cover, K-way, and similar clothing.

[0035] The term length referred to the fabric element (5) means the measurement of said element (5) measured horizontally, taking into account that the vertical side is that in which a person is standing. With reference to Fig. 1, the lenght measurement of the fabric element (5) is performed horizontally.

[0036] The term height referred to the fabric element (5) or to the jacket (1) means the measurement of said element (5) or jacket (1) measured vertically, i.e. along the vertical side, is that in which a person is standing. With reference to Fig. 1, the height measurement of the fabric element (5) or jacket (1) is performed vertically.

[0037] The thickness of the jacket (1) and therefore also of the fabric element (5) are those typical of clothes which typically range from 1 millimeter to 10 cm, preferably from 0.5 to 2 cm.

[0038] The divisible zippers (2, 3) arranged vertically along the entire jacket can be anywhere on the front part, excluding the sleeves.

[0039] The divisible zippers (2, 3) arranged vertically along the entire jacket can be located anywhere on the front part and are separated from each other by a fabric element (5) having a length of comprised from 10 cm to 50 cm. Therefore, the two divisible zippers (2, 3) are separated by a length from 10 cm to 50 cm, wherein said space is occupied by the fabric element (5). The divisible zippers (2, 3) arranged vertically along the entire jacket, being located anywhere on the front part, they are never in an overlapping position.

[0040] According to a preferred embodiment, the divisible zippers (2, 3) arranged vertically along the entire jacket are on opposite sides with respect to the axis of vertical symmetry of the jacket (1).

[0041] According to a more preferred embodiment, the divisible zippers (2, 3) arranged vertically along the entire jacket, they are on opposite and equidistant sides with respect to the axis of vertical symmetry of the jacket (1).

[0042] The divisible zipper (4) arranged vertically along the entire jacket can be located anywhere on the back of the jacket, excluding the sleeves.

[0043] According to a preferred embodiment, in the jacket (1) the divisible zipper (4) arranged vertically along the entire jacket, it is arranged in the centre of the jacket, that is along the axis of vertical symmetry of the jacket (1) on the back of the jacket (1).

[0044] The term divisible zipper means zipper that allows the complete separation of the flaps, i.e. the two flaps, i.e. the two flaps of the jacket or flap of the jacket and flap of the fabric element (5).

[0045] With regards to Fig. 3, the divisible zipper comprises the following components:
  • two fabric tapes (examples 71 and 72);
  • chain with metal or plastic teeth or with the nylon spiral tied to the two tapes, which allows the zipper to be closed;
  • two metal stops at the top of the chain that prevent the coming out of the slider from the chain;
  • one or two sliders (10); the sliders allow the opening/closing of the zipper;
  • the pull tab, which can be rigid, flexible or articulated, and which is tied to the slider (10);
  • the pin (9), which is suitable for inserting into the box (10);
  • the box (10), which is able to host the pin (9).

[0046] The zips in particular the two fabric tapes comprise nylon, metal or plastic teeth, tied to a flap of each of the two tapes; during the closing the teeth insert exactly into each other.

[0047] Opening and closing is provided by the slider (10) which is moved using the pull tab, to which it is tied. Inside the slider, there is a Y-shaped way with an angle such as to allow, during the sliding in one direction or the other, the interlocking or opening of the teeth.

[0048] The zipper is delimited at the ends by "stops" or metal stops which prevent the coming out of the slider.

[0049] The slider (10) and the pull tab can be equipped with a stop that prevents the opening involuntarily of the zipper, this stop is present in the pull tab, and the slider is provided with a hole and has an elastic slider zip, so to maintain the squashed position and prevent the opening and the longer gripping with the stop on the teeth; instead other models, are composed of a slider equipped with an elastic zip and the latest provided with stops, while the pull tab has a shape that by turning it raises or lowers the zip.

[0050] The jacket (1), including the fabric element (5), is made of fabric, i.e. a material made by intertwining threads, preferably perpendicular to each other.

[0051] Said fabric can comprise natural materials and fibers (ex. cotton, wool, linen, etc.) and/or synthetic materials and fibers as, for example, plastic materials, polyester, polyamide, etc.

[0052] Preferably, the fabric with which the jacket (1) is made, including the fabric element (5), is waterproof fabric, at least on the outer part.

[0053] The wearer of the jacket can be any adult person, for example, a woman, a pregnant woman, a man, a boy or a girl.

[0054] The jacket (1) can comprise, preferably, inside it heating coatings, also removable, such as a coating in fur or equivalent fabric.

[0055] In particular, the jacket (1) can comprise at least a partial coating of the inner surface with a fur, synthetic fur or equivalent fabric.

[0056] According to a preferred embodiment, in particular the jacket (1) can comprise a coating of the inner surface with a fur, synthetic fur or equivalent fabric.

[0062] Furthermore, preferably, the flaps of the fur, synthetic fur or equivalent fabric, are tied to the jacket (1) by means of buttons arranged on the upper edge of the inner part of the jacket (1). Preferably by means of 2 buttons.

[0063] According to a more preferred embodiment, the flaps of the fur, synthetic fur or equivalent fabric, are tied to the jacket (1) by means of two internal zippers parallel respectively to the zippers (2, 3), and furthermore, by means of buttons arranged on the upper edge of the inner part of the jacket (5), more preferably, by 2 buttons, and furthermore, by means of two sets of 4 buttons, each arranged on one side of the divisible zipper (4). This embodiment is preferred in that it prevents the outer part of the jacket (1) slips with respect to the inner coating, creating situations of asymmetry that cause inconvenience to the user.

[0064] According to a more preferred embodiment, the flaps of the fur, synthetic fur or equivalent fabric, are tied to the jacket (1) by means of two internal zippers parallel respectively to the divisible zippers (2, 3) and furthermore, by means of buttons arranged on the upper edge of the inner part of the jacket (5), more preferably, by 2 buttons, and furthermore, by means of two sets of 4 buttons, each arranged on one side of the divisible zipper (4), wherein the divisible zipper (4) is arranged vertically in the centre of the jacket (5). This embodiment is particularly preferred in that it avoids even more that the outer part of the jacket (1) slips with respect to the inner coating, creating situations of asymmetry that inconvenience for the user.

[0065] According to a preferred embodiment, the jacket (1) can comprise at least a partial coating of the inner surface with a fur, synthetic fur or equivalent fabric, wherein said coating is removable. This embodiment is particularly preferred because it confers ease of use since in hot seasons, it is suitable for removing at least partial said coating of the inner surface of the jacket.

[0066] According to a preferred embodiment, the jacket (1) comprises in external part a hood for the head of the person or child when hosted on the inside part behind of the jacket (1). Preferably the hood is also removable.

[0067] The fabric element (5) can have a height equal to the same height as the jacket or it may have a lower height.

[0068] According to a preferred embodiment, in the jacket (1) the fabric element (5) has the same height as the jacket.

[0069] The fabric element (5) has a height comprised from 20 cm to 100 cm, preferably from 70 cm to 80 cm.
