Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of lamps, in particular to a
lamp controller socket.
Background
[0002] The controller is installed on the lamp holder of the lamp to control the switching
on or switching off of the lamp. The existing controller socket, as shown in FIGs
15-17, comprises a first mounting part 01 and a socket main body 02, a rubber ring
03, a gasket 04 and a nut 05 arranged in sequence from top to bottom, wherein, the
socket main body 02 has a first socket part 021 operable to be interlocked with the
first mounting part 01, and a second socket part 022 threaded with the nut 05, the
first socket part 021 has a plurality of L-shaped first connecting grooves 023 arranged
at intervals along the circumferential direction of the outer wall thereof, the inner
wall of the first mounting part 01 is formed with a plurality of first connecting
blocks 011 adaptively connected with the corresponding L-shaped first connecting grooves
023, the front end of the first connecting block 011 is provided with a first clamping
block 012, and the first connecting groove 023 is formed with a second clamping block
024 for elastically clamping the first clamping block 012; the rubber ring 03 is sleeved
on the second socket part 022, and has a first rubber part 031 arranged between the
lamp holder 06 and the first mounting part 01 to form a waterproof sealing, and a
second rubber part 032 arranged between the lamp holder 06 and the first socket part
021 to form a waterproof sealing. When the controller is assembled, the second socket
part 022 is arranged to pass through the through holes on the rubber ring 03 and the
lamp holder 06 in sequence, and is threaded with the nut 05 on the lower side of the
lamp holder 06, and the first connecting block 011 of the first mounting part 01 is
then inserted into the first connecting groove 023 of the first socket part 021 vertically,
and rotated at a certain angle, to allow the first connecting block 011 to be interlocked
with the first connecting groove 023.
[0003] The drawbacks of the above scheme are: when the tightening force of the nut 05 is
too small, the pressing force on the rubber ring 03 is small, which will affect the
sealing performance; when the tightening force of the nut 05 is too large, the first
socket part 021 will press the second rubber part 032 excessively, to allow the thickness
of the second rubber part 032 to become smaller, that is, the separation distance
between the first socket part 021 and the lamp holder 06 will become smaller, the
thickness of the first rubber part 03 will basically remain unchanged since the first
rubber part 031 is not under pressure, and the separation distance between the first
mounting part 01 and the lamp holder 06 will be greater than the separation distance
between the first socket part 021 and the lamp holder 06, which allows the first mounting
part Oldifficult to be screwed into the first socket part 021. In order to ensure
that the first connecting block 011 of the first mounting part 01 can be completely
inserted into the first connecting groove 023 to achieve a locking connection, the
installer needs to press the first mounting part 01 with force to reduce the thickness
of the first rubber part 031, only after which, the first mounting part 01 can be
assembled with the first socket part 021. This assembly is time-consuming and laborious,
which greatly reduces the assembly efficiency.
Summary of the Invention
[0004] Therefore, the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to overcome
the defect in the prior art that the torque of the nut is difficult to control and
affect the product performance, thereby providing a lamp controller socket with good
sealing performance and high reliability.
[0005] Therefore, the invention provides a lamp controller socket, suitable for being assembled
with a lamp holder, the lamp holder being provided with a mounting hole, the socket
comprises a first mounting part, a socket main body, a first sealing ring, a second
sealing ring and a fastening component, wherein the socket main body has a first socket
part assembled with the first mounting part through an interlock structure and a second
socket part arranged corresponding to the mounting hole; the first sealing ring is
arranged between the first mounting par and the socket main body to form a waterproof
sealing; the second sealing ring is arranged between the socket main body and the
lamp holder to form a waterproof sealing; the fastening component is arranged to cause
the socket main body, the second sealing ring and the lamp holder to form a sealed
assembly.
[0006] A step extending along a circumferential direction is provided between the first
socket part and the second socket part, or arranged on an outer wall of the second
socket part; the first sealing ring is provided between the step and the first mounting
part, and the second sealing ring is provided between the step and the lamp holder.
The first sealing ring is provided between a top of the first socket part and the
first mounting part.
[0007] The fastening component comprises a first through hole and a screw. At least one
first through hole is formed on the step or the socket main body; and at least one
screw is arranged to pass through the first through hole, so as to cause the socket
main body, the second sealing ring and the lamp holder to form the sealed assembly.
[0008] The second sealing ring has a second through hole for the screw to pass through.
[0009] The second sealing ring has an avoidance space for avoiding the screw.
[0010] The step is formed with a groove that is recessed inward for completely accommodating
the head of the screw.
[0011] The first socket part is formed with an avoidance groove which is recessed inward
from its outer wall to avoid the screw.
[0012] The lamp holder is formed with screw holes respectively arranged on both sides of
the mounting hole.
[0013] The fastening component comprises a slot and a spring piece, the slot is formed on
the second socket part; the spring piece has a spring piece main body adaptively inserted
into the slot, and a plurality of first spring pieces and a plurality of second spring
pieces respectively arranged on upper and lower sides of the spring piece main body;
wherein, the first spring pieces are arranged to extend toward the first socket part
and be operable to elastically abut against an inner side surface of the lamp holder,
and the second spring pieces are arranged to extend away from the first socket part
and be operable to elastically abut against an outer wall of the second socket part.
[0014] The fastening component comprises: a second socket part, having an external thread
provided on an outer wall of thereof; nut, having an inner thread adaptively connected
with the external thread of the second socket part.
[0015] The technical solution of the present invention has the following advantages:
- 1. The lamp controller socket provided by the present invention comprises a first
mounting part, a socket main body, a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring and
a fastening component, and compared with the prior art in which the sealing ring is
arranged between the first mounting part and the lamp holder, the inventor subtly
changed the mounting position of the sealing ring by arranging a first sealing ring
for waterproof sealing between the first mounting part and the socket main body, so
that when the separation distance between the socket main body and the lamp holder
is changed, the assembly of the first mounting part and the socket main body is not
affected, in this way, the assembly is faster and more convenient and the assembly
efficiency is improved.
- 2. According to the lamp controller socket provided by the invention, a step extending
along a circumferential direction is arranged between the first socket part and the
second socket part, or provided on an outer wall of the second socket part; the first
sealing ring is provided between the step and the first mounting part, and the second
sealing ring is provided between the step and the lamp holder. By setting the step,
it is convenient to install the first sealing ring and realize the waterproof sealing
between the first mounting part and the first socket part, and the step has the advantages
of simple structure and low production cost.
- 3. According to the lamp controller socket provided by the invention, the first sealing
ring is provided between a top of the first socket part and the first mounting part,
so that the structure of the original socket main body does not need to be changed,
so that a new mold for producing the socket main body does not need to be designed,
which reduces the production cost.
- 4. According to the lamp controller socket provided by the invention, the annular
step is formed with a groove that can completely accommodate the head of the screw,
and the bottom of the groove is provided with a first through hole. After the screw
is assembled, screw head will not protrude from the top of the step to avoid contact
with the first sealing ring, thereby ensuring that the first sealing ring and the
step are closely fitted with good sealing performance.
- 5. According to the lamp controller socket provided by the invention, the first socket
part is formed with an arc-shaped avoidance groove arranged corresponding to some
of the grooves, that is, the space is reasonably utilized, the volume of the socket
main body is small, and the production cost is reduced.
- 6. According to the lamp controller socket provided by the invention, the socket main
body and the lamp holder are assembled by spring piece, which has the advantages of
quick and convenient assembly.

scope of the present invention.

Embodiment 1
[0022] The present embodiment provides a lamp controller socket, suitable for being installed
on the lamp holder 1 of the lamp, as shown in FIG.1-FIG.5, the socket comprises a
first mounting part 2, a socket main body 3, a first sealing ring 4, a second sealing
ring 5 and a fastening component.
[0023] The first mounting part 2 is suitable for shielding the first socket part 31.
[0024] The socket main body 3, as shown in FIG.3-FIG.5, has a first socket part 31 assembled
with the first mounting part 2 through an interlock structure, and a second socket
part 32 arranged corresponding to the mounting hole 11. The outer diameter of the
first socket part 31 is larger than the outer diameter of the second socket part 32,
and the first socket part 31 is formed with an avoidance groove 36 which is recessed
inward from its outer wall to avoid the screw 6. The interlock structure comprises
a plurality of L-shaped first connecting blocks 21 arranged at intervals along the
circumferential direction of the inner wall of the first mounting part 2, and first
connecting grooves 37 arranged at intervals along the circumferential direction of
the outer wall of the first socket part 31 and adaptively connected with the corresponding
L-shaped first connecting blocks 21. During assembly, after the first connecting blocks
21 are inserted into the first connecting grooves 37 in the vertical direction, the
first connecting blocks are rotated relative to the first connecting grooves 37, so
as to be locked and connected with the first connecting grooves 37. The second socket
part 32 is adaptively inserted into the mounting hole 11 of the lamp holder 1. It
should be noted that the interlock structure is an existing and mature technology,
so the specific structure of the interlock structure will not be described in detail.
[0025] A step 33, as shown in FIG.2 and FIG.3, is arranged between the first socket part
31 and the second socket part 32 and extends along a circumferential direction. The
step 33 has a first surface 331, a second surface 332 and a circumferential surface
330. The first surface 331 and the second surface 332 are arranged opposite to each
other. The step 33 has two first through holes 34 arranged therethrough, and the first
surface 331 of the step 33 is formed with a groove 35 that is recessed inward for
completely accommodating the head of the screw 6.

socket part 32.
[0027] The first sealing ring 4 is arranged on one side of the first surface 331, to abut
against the first mounting part 2 to form a waterproof sealing between the first mounting

which are formed on the step 33 or the socket main body 3, and are respectively arranged

the first through hole 34 to cause the socket main body 3, the second sealing ring
5 and the lamp holder 1 to form a sealed assembly, and the lamp socket 1 is formed
with screw holes 12 respectively arranged on both sides of the mounting hole 11. In
the present embodiment, the lamp holder 1 is made of plastic, and the screw 6 can
be a self-tapping screw.
Embodiment 2
[0030] The present embodiment provides a lamp controller socket, suitable for being installed
on the lamp holder 1 of the lamp, as shown in FIG. 6, the socket comprises a first
mounting part 2, a socket main body 3, a first sealing ring 4, a second sealing ring
5 and a fastening component.
[0031] The first mounting part 2 is suitable for shielding the first socket part 31.
[0032] The socket main body 3 has a first socket part 31 assembled with the first mounting
part 2 through an interlock structure, and a second socket part 32 arranged corresponding

are inserted into the first connecting grooves 37 in the vertical direction, first
connecting blocks are rotated relative to the first connecting grooves 37, so as to
be locked and connected with the first connecting grooves 37. The second socket part
32 is adaptively inserted into the mounting hole 11 of the lamp holder 1.

Embodiment 3

on the lamp holder 1 of the lamp, as shown in FIG. 7, the socket comprises a first
mounting part 2, a socket main body 3, a first sealing ring 4, a second sealing ring
5 and a fastening component.

rotate relative to the first connecting grooves 37, so as to be locked and connected
with the first connecting grooves 37. The second socket part 32 is adaptively inserted
into the mounting hole 11 of the lamp holder 1.

32 is adaptively inserted into the mounting hole 11 of the lamp holder 1.

on the lamp holder 1 of the lamp, as shown in FIG.9-FIG.11, the socket comprises a
first mounting part 2, a socket main body 3, a first sealing ring 4, a second sealing
ring 5 and a fastening component.

part 2 through an interlock structure, and a second socket part 32 arranged corresponding

than the outer diameter of the second socket part 32.

grooves 37. The second socket part 32 is adaptively inserted into the mounting hole
11 of the lamp holder 1.

1. A lamp controller socket, suitable for being assembled with a lamp holder (1) of a
lamp, the lamp holder (1) being provided with a mounting hole (11),
characterized in that, the socket comprises:
a first mounting part (2);
a socket main body (3) having a first socket part (31) assembled with the first mounting
part (2) through an interlock structure and a second socket part (32) arranged corresponding
to the mounting hole (11);
a first sealing ring (4) arranged between the first mounting part (2) and the socket
main body (3) to form a waterproof sealing;
a second sealing ring (5) arranged between the socket main body (3) and the lamp holder
(1) to form a waterproof sealing;
a fastening component, arranged to cause the socket main body (3), the second sealing
ring (5) and the lamp holder (1) to form a sealed assembly.
2. The lamp controller socket according to claim 1, characterized in that a step (33) extending along a circumferential direction is provided between the first
socket part (31) and the second socket part (32), or arranged on an outer wall of
the second socket part (32);
the first sealing ring (4) is provided between the step (33) and the first mounting
part (2), and the second sealing ring (5) is provided between the step (33) and the
lamp holder (1).
3. The lamp controller socket according to claim 1, characterized in that the first sealing ring (4) is provided between a top of the first socket part (31)
and the first mounting part (2).
4. The lamp controller socket according to any one of claims 2-3,
characterized in that the fastening component comprises:
at least one first through hole (34), formed on the step (33) or the socket main body
(3);
at least one screw (6), arranged to pass through the first through hole (34), so as
to cause the socket main body (3), the second sealing ring (5) and the lamp holder
(1) to form the sealed assembly.
5. The lamp controller socket according to claim 4, characterized in that the second sealing ring (5) has a second through hole (51) for the screw (6) to pass
through.
6. The lamp controller socket according to claim 4, characterized in that the second sealing ring (5) has an avoidance space for avoiding the screw (6).
7. The lamp controller socket according to any one of claims 4-6, characterized in that the step (33) is formed with a groove (35) that is recessed inward for completely
accommodating the head of the screw (6).
8. The lamp controller socket according to any one of claims 4-7, characterized in that the first socket part (31) is formed with an avoidance groove (36) which is recessed
inward from an outer wall of the first socket part to avoid the screw (6).
9. The lamp controller socket according to any one of claims 1-3,
characterized in that the fastening component comprises:
a slot, formed on the second socket part (32);
a spring piece (7), having a spring piece main body (70) adaptively inserted into
the slot, and a plurality of first spring pieces (71) and a plurality of second spring
pieces (72) respectively arranged on upper and lower sides of the spring piece main
body (70);
wherein, the first spring pieces (71) are arranged to extend toward the first socket
part (31) and be operable to elastically abut against an inner side surface of the
lamp holder (1), and the second spring pieces (72) are arranged to extend away from
the first socket part (31) and be operable to elastically abut against an outer wall
of the second socket part (32).
10. The lamp controller socket according to any one of claims 1-3,
characterized in that the fastening component comprises:
a second socket part (32), having an external thread provided on an outer wall of
thereof;
a nut (8), having an inner thread adaptively connected with the external thread of
the second socket part (32).
