The Field of the Invention
[0001] Invention relates to a work machine with double-operator cabin and crane system.
[0002] Invention particularly relates to a work machine a double-operator cabin and crane
system used for carrying, lowering and lifting of any materials such as pre-cast panels,
railway panels etc. in work sites having restrictions such as tunnel, channel, holes
etc. in width and height and showing differences along route due to such restrictions.
Background of the Invention
[0003] Today various machines are used for laying precast members and panels particularly
in railways. Such machines have various features and models subject to their operating
systems, dimensions and use modes. Said machines can be machines with crane features
capable to move on rails and/or ground in terms of their appearance and functions
as well as mobile cranes.
[0004] In the related art the work machine preferred the most for carrying goods like panels
is mobile crane. Mobile crane is a crane mounted onto palette, rubber tyre or truck
type vehicles and operating telescopic cylinder or automatically pushing. Mobile cranes
have advantages like easy to carry, practical and easy to use. However, when conducting
backward moving of narrow diameter and not allowing manoeuvre, vehicles travelling
with machine operator's limited visibility causes danger. In addition, mobile crane
systems are produced for operation in broad scanning areas in general and therefore
in cases when it is required to take load from a close point, it becomes difficult
to lift lifting arms and increase vehicle height.
[0005] When the literature is searched for the subject matter, patent application numbered
2019/17562 is encountered. Application relates to a mining vehicle capable to make 360° rotating
manoeuvre enabling use in various works with equipment such as truck case, switch
platform, oil/ fuel-oil/ water tanker, personnel transport cabin, ambulance cabin,
concrete mixer, service/maintenance cabin or crane allowing adding by use of at least
one mounting method as per need of rear area on single part chassis and capable to
work in narrow mine pit. Mining vehicle disclosed under the application enables easy
manoeuvre in narrow areas. However, as there are not operator cabins on both sides,
when intended to make rear manoeuvre, operator has to change his/her sitting position.
For that reason, it does not provide easy and practical use.
[0006] In addition to above disadvantages explained above, operator's having limited vision
angle, need of vehicle to conduct rear position travel in tunnels not allowing manoeuvre,
some vehicles not being capable to carry load or limitation of number of cargos that
can be carried at one time, need for carrying loads of vehicles not having cargo carrying
body to unloading area by another vehicle for cargo to be lifted, use of additional
chassis to carry crane system independent of vehicle causing increase in weight of
vehicle, high capacity cranes having broad scanning area and long boom arms or cranes
with short boom arm having low capacity and other reasons and inadequacy of current
solutions have all required development in the related art.
JP S54 179606 U discloses the preamble of claim 1.
Purpose of the Invention
[0007] The invention has been developed with inspiration from existing situation and aims
to eliminate the above mentioned disadvantages.
[0008] Primary purpose of the invention is enable operator to drive vehicle without need
to change his/her position according to travelling direction without need for rear
manoeuvre by help of operator cabins on both sites of the vehicle.
[0009] Another purpose of the invention is to provide carrying of all cargo on one single
chassis without need for additional support feet thanks to high amount of load carrying
capacity of vehicle.
[0010] A further purpose of the invention is to provide taking cargo at minimum distance
without need for lifting arms up thanks to special shortened boom arms of crane system
provided on the vehicle.
[0011] The structural and characteristics features of the invention and all advantages will
be understood better in detailed descriptions with the figures given below and with
reference to the figures, and therefore, the assessment should be made taking into
account the said figures and detailed explanations.

Detailed Description of the Invention
[0014] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the work machine being
subject of the invention have been described only for purpose of better understanding
of the matter.
[0015] Figure 1 shows an illustrative view of work machine of the invention. Invention relates
to a work machine used for carrying, lowering and lifting of any materials such as
precast panels, railway panels etc. in work sites having restrictions such as tunnel,
channel, holes etc. in width and height and showing differences along route due to
such restrictions. In order to achieve it; the invention comprises
- At least two operator cabins (1) namely, rear and front, located on both end area
of the vehicle, wherein operator sits to use vehicle,
- a crane operator cabin (5) where operator is placed to use mechanism providing control
of crane for loading of cargo onto vehicle or unloading thereof,
- at least a crane boom (3) providing taking cargo from a point near to vehicle without
need for lifting arms of the crane,
- a crane body (13) comprising crane operator cabin (5) and crane boom (3) thereon providing
contact of crane with vehicle,
- a chassis (8) meeting vehicle's weight, weight of cargo carried and/or stress occurring
during crane running,
- a common axis (2) providing equal distribution of cargo carried onto tyres during
travel of the vehicle,
- a rear rigid axis (7) and a front rigid axis (12) located on tyres of vehicle, fixed
onto chassis (8) and travel system without suspension,
- a front support foot (9) and mid-support foot (10) meeting moment transmission during
crane running and thus providing balance of vehicle, and
- a rear support foot (11) meeting momentum occurring on the front part of vehicle when
cargo is placed thereon.
[0016] A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises two operator cabins (1) in total,
on both ends of the work machine. Operator in charge of driving vehicle is located
in the operator cabin (1) facing the direction of travel and thus there is no need
for manoeuvre in direction opposite to travelling direction and operator can use vehicle
always in forward manoeuvred direction.
[0017] Upon operator's activating engine (2) providing power to vehicle, vehicle comes into
running position. The cargos intended to be carried together with vehicle are loaded
onto vehicle by use of crane body (13) providing contact of crane with vehicle and
crane boom (3) providing lifting of cargos. Thanks to shortening of crane boom (3)
phase length in crane system in comparison to existing booms (3), taking cargo from
a point close to vehicle without need for lifting it up and loading onto vehicle is
provided.
[0018] In case of passing from a straight ramp during carrying of cargos, mid-axis (2) is
moved towards or opposite exit of ramp in order to provide equal distribution of carried
cargo onto all tyres. During this action, rear rigid axis (7) and front rigid axis
(12) are in constant action and in contact with ground.
[0019] When the area where carried cargo will be unloaded is reached, operator fixes front
support foot (9), mid-support foot (10) and rear support foot (11) onto ground and
crane unloading action is started. Running crane is provided by means of use of crane
control mechanism in crane operator cabin (5) by operator or control of crane by remote
control. Cargos are taken from vehicle by means of crane boom (3) and unloaded onto
ground.
[0020] Various views of Work machine of invention are shown in figures 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
8, and 9.
[0021] Figure 10 shows running of the vehicle inside a tunnel. As seen, it is not needed
to lift crane boom (3) up to take and place cargo.
[0022] Vehicle is designed with high cargo carrying capacity. Monobloc chassis (8) design
provides carrying of loads and tension of all parts on one single chassis. There is
no need for an additional chassis connecting crane to support feet. High capacity
crane system located onto vehicle take cargo at minimum distance and put it in front
of vehicle without lifting arms thanks to shortened special crane boom (3) arms.
[0023] In an alternative embodiment of the invention said cargos can be loaded onto and
unloaded from vehicle by use of an external forklift or another crane system.
[0024] In another alternative embodiment of the invention, movement of vehicle is not only
in back and forth direction, crab movement can also be made by rotating all tyres
on mid-axis (2), rear rigid axis (7) and front rigid axis (12) in the same direction.
Another movement is the vehicle turning manoeuvres particularly in narrow distance
by rotating tyres on rear rigid axis (7) and front rigid axis (12) in opposite directions.
