[0001] The present disclosure relates to a male masturbation device and an insertion opening
regulation module for a male masturbation device.
[0002] The sex toy industry continues to develop a variety of masturbation aids and pleasure
toys. In recent years, masturbation aids for men receive larger attention and the
number of available products of male masturbation aids grow steadily. Male masturbation
aids often simulate female genitals and some provide further sensations such as vibration
or suction.
[0003] However, phalluses and/or penises have different shapes, sizes and stiffness. Also,
individual preferences of what kind and intensity of sensations are considered pleasing
differs between users. Certain sensations, such as intensity and/or form of vibrations
generated by a vibration motor, may be regulated by a control input by the user. However,
sensations caused by structural factors of the male masturbation aid such as dimensions
and material may not be regulated. Accordingly, in order to provide masturbation aids
for a broad group of male users, a wide variety of male masturbation aids of different
sizes and material properties are provided, which particularly increases costs for
development, manufacturing and sale. Also, if preferences of a user change or if he
desires to experience a different sensation, he is required to purchase a new masturbation
aid.
[0004] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a male masturbation
device and an insertion opening regulation module for a male masturbation device which
may be adjusted to the user's needs. It is a particular object of the present invention
to provide a male masturbation device and an insertion opening regulation module configured
for pleasant stimulation of phalluses of different sizes and forms.
Summary of the Invention
[0005] The above object is solved according to the invention by the features of the independent
claims. Particular embodiments of the invention are subject of the dependent claims.
[0006] One aspect of the present invention relates to a male masturbation device comprising:
a tube shaped housing for receiving a phallus and/or a penis; and at least one flexible
tube member arranged within or at the tube shaped housing and defining at least one
insertion opening for receiving the phallus, wherein the tube shaped housing is manipulable
and a manipulation of the tube shaped housing causes a deformation of the at least
one flexible tube member thereby adjusting the diameter(s) of the insertion opening(s).
The male masturbation device may be particularly configured to provide a stimulation
to a phallus or non-erected penis of a user.
[0007] The tube shaped housing specifically comprises at least one opening for insertion
of the phallus or a non-erected penis. The insertion opening defined by the flexible
tube member is particularly positioned in close proximity to the opening for insertion
of the tube shaped housing so that the insertion opening may act on the penis over
the majority of its length. For adjusting and/or regulating and/or varying the diameter
of the insertion opening, at least a part of the tube shaped housing is manipulable,
in particular displaceable and/or deformable.
[0008] According to a particular embodiment of the male masturbation device, the tube shaped
housing comprises a first housing part and a second housing part, which are substantially
concentrically aligned with respect to a central or longitudinal axis of the tube
shaped housing and arranged to be rotatably or pivotably displaceable relative to
one another around the central axis of the tube shaped housing; the flexible tube
member has a first end and a second end; the first housing part spans the first end
of the flexible tube member to form a first opening for receiving the phallus and
the second housing part spans the second end of the flexible tube member to form a
second opening for receiving the phallus; and the first opening and second opening
being spaced apart from each other so that the insertion opening is arranged between
the first opening and the second opening in a direction of the central axis of the
tube shaped housing. The flexible tube member may be substantially tube shaped having
a first open end on one side and a second open end on the opposite side.
[0009] Particularly, the first opening and/or the second opening are substantially ring
shaped or substantially of the shape of a symmetric polygon, such as a hexagon or
octagon. This way, substantially ring shaped insertion opening may be obtained, which
provides a pleasant feeling to the user. Alternatively, in particular in order to
obtain a different and/or irregular shape of the insertion opening, other shapes of
the first opening and/or the second opening may be provided. The first housing part
and the second housing part are advantageously positioned and/or supported so that
a distance between the first opening and the second opening in the direction of the
central axis of the tube shaped housing is substantially retained and/or kept constant.
In particular, the first housing part and the second housing part are specifically
configured to substantially prohibit a reduction of said distance. This way, a force
in the axial direction exerted by deformation of the flexible tube member may be withstood.
[0010] The tube shaped housing preferably comprises and/or at least partly consists of a
substantially rigid material, in particular a material configured to withstand forces
acting on the tube shaped housing during its intended use. For example, at least a
portion of the tube shaped housing may comprise or consist of material, such as plastic,
polymer, bioplastic, metal, glass and/or carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol-Copolymere
(ABS) and/or polylactide (PLA) and/or material having similar properties.

the second housing part, may have a diameter between approximately 40 mm and 100 mm,
for example approximately 85 mm. The first opening and/or the second opening may have

Moreover, the tube shaped housing may have a length in the axial direction between
approximately 50 mm to about 200 mm, for example approximately 100 mm. In particular,
the first housing part and the second housing part - in an assembled state - may have
a length in the axial direction between approximately 20 mm and 60 mm, for example
approximately 45 mm.

the first housing part and the second housing part to a plurality of positions including
a start position, an end position and at least one intermediate position between the
start position and the end position. Rotation of the first housing part and/or the
second housing part offers the possibility to regulate the diameter of the insertion
opening.

part or the second housing part may be rotated with respect to the first housing part
or both of the first housing part and the second housing part may be rotated relative
to one another. The more intermediate positions, the finer a regulation of the diameter
of the insertion opening may be achieved. For example, there may be one intermediate
position or 2 or more, e.g. 5, 7 or 10, between the start position and the end position.

first housing part and the second housing part are in the start position. Also, the

Alternatively, the diameter of the insertion opening in the start position may be
smaller than the diameter in the end position.

to the center of the first opening and second opening the further the rotation towards
the end position occurs. This applies for an infinite number of strands and/or sections
of the flexible tube member so that the opening defined by the flexible tube member
decreases due to the rotation towards the end position.

the second end - including the part defining the insertion opening - has a substantially
hyperboloid shape when the first housing part and the second housing part are in the
end position and in the at least one intermediate position and, advantageously, also
in the start position. In particular, an area of the flexible tube member between
the insertion opening and the first opening and an area of the flexible tube member
between the insertion opening and the second opening comprise a substantially conically
tapered shape so as to substantially form a hyperboloid in one sheet and/or a double
cone with opposing tips connected through the insertion opening.

in particular in a radial and/or an axial direction. With increased stretching and/or
lengthening of said strands and/or sections of the flexible tube member as described
above, the resistance of the part of flexible tube member forming the insertion opening
to a force exerted in a radial direction and/or a displacement of the insertion opening
increases from the start position to the end position. This way, the sensation of
the insertion opening is further changed because a different pressure is applied to
a phallus or penis inserted into the insertion opening in the different rotated positions.

part and/or of the second housing part relative to the first housing part between
the start position and the end position is lower than approximately 160°, preferably
lower than approximately 100°, further preferably lower than approximately 60°, and

45°. Further preferred is that the rotation of the first housing part relative to
the second housing part is restricted to positions including the start position, the
end position and the at least one intermediate position. This way, the diameter of
the insertion opening may be regulated only to a predefined or predefinable range
so that incorrect use and/or overstress of parts of the device, in particular of the
flexible tube member, may be prevented. Specifically, in the end position, the diameter
of the insertion opening is greater than approximately 10 mm, more preferably greater
than approximately 20 mm.

angles therebetween. For example, the distances between intermediate positions may
decrease from the start position to the end position in order to obtain a particularly
preferable reduction of the insertion opening diameter.

may be set and/or chosen to particular needs. As an example, for illustration purposes
only, the angle between the start position and the end position may be approximately

a sensation in a larger area of the phallus or penis (either erected or non-erected)
with less pressure, while a smaller angle provides a sensation in a smaller area of
the phallus or penis with higher pressure.

Description of particular embodiments
[0046] Fig. 1a shows an exemplary insertion opening regulation module 30 for a male masturbation
device 1 in a first state and in a second state. Specifically, the insertion opening
regulation module 30 comprises a substantially ring shaped first body part 32 and
a substantially ring shaped second body part 34. The first body part 32 and the second
body part 34 may be of substantially equal size or of different size. Also, the first
body part 32 and/or the second body part 34 may be substantially tube shaped.
[0047] The insertion opening regulation module 30 includes a flexible tube member 2, which
ends are respectively coupled to the first body part 32 and the second body part 34
so that a first opening 16 and a second opening 18 are formed. Each open end of the

relative rotation between the first body part 32 and the second body part 34 beyond

1. Male masturbation device (1) comprising:
a tube shaped housing (10) for receiving a phallus; and
at least one flexible tube member (2) arranged within or at the tube shaped housing
(10) and defining at least one insertion opening (4) for receiving the phallus,
wherein the tube shaped housing (10) is manipulable and a manipulation of the tube
shaped housing (10) causes a deformation of the at least one flexible tube member
(2) thereby adjusting the diameter of the insertion opening (4).
2. Male masturbation device (1) of claim 1, wherein:
the tube shaped housing (10) comprises a first housing part (12) and a second housing
part (14), which are concentrically aligned with respect to a central axis (36) of
the tube shaped housing (10) and arranged to be rotatably displaceable relative to
one another around the central axis (36) of the tube shaped housing (10);
the flexible tube member (2) has a first end and a second end;
the first housing part (12) spans the first end of the flexible tube member (2) to
form a first opening (16) for receiving the phallus and the second housing part (14)
spans the second end of the flexible tube member (2) to form a second opening (18)
for receiving the phallus; and
the first opening (16) and second opening (18) being spaced apart from each other
so that the insertion opening (4) is arranged between the first opening (16) and the
second opening (18) in a direction of the central axis (36) of the tube shaped housing
(10).
3. Male masturbation device (1) of claim 2, wherein the tube shaped housing (10) is manipulable
by rotation between the first housing part (12) and the second housing part (14) to
a plurality of positions including a start position, an end position and at least
one intermediate position between the start position and the end position.
4. Male masturbation device (1) of claim 3, wherein the diameter of the insertion opening
(4) is a first size when the first housing part (12) and the second housing part (14)
are in the start position and the diameter of the insertion opening (4) is a second
size when the first housing part (12) and second housing part (14) are in the end
position, wherein the diameter in the start position is larger than the diameter in
the end position.
5. Male masturbation device (1) of claim 3 or 4, wherein the diameter of the insertion
opening (4) is a third size when the first housing part (12) and second housing part
(14) are in an intermediate position between the start position and the end position,
wherein the diameter is smaller than the diameter in the start position and larger
than the diameter in the end position.
6. Male masturbation device (1) of any one of claims 3 to 5, wherein at least the part
of the flexible tube member (2) defining the insertion opening (4) is deformed by
rotation of the first housing part (12) relative to the second housing part (14),
wherein rotation in a direction from the start position to the end position decreases
the diameter of the insertion opening (4) and wherein rotation in a direction from
the end position to the start position increases the diameter of the insertion opening
(4).
7. Male masturbation device (1) of any one of claims 3 to 6, wherein at least a part
of the flexible tube member (2) between the first end and the second end has a substantially
hyperboloid shape when the first housing part (12) and the second housing part (14)
are in the end position and in an intermediate position and, particularly, in the
start position.
8. Male masturbation device (1) of any one of claims 3 to 7, wherein a rotation angle
of the first housing part (12) relative to the second housing part (14) between the
start position and the end position is lower than approximately 160°, preferably lower
than approximately 100°, further preferably lower than approximately 60°.
9. Male masturbation device (1) of any one of claims 3 to 8, wherein rotation of the
first housing part (12) relative to the second housing part (14) is restricted to
positions including the start position, the end position and the at least one intermediate

15. Insertion opening regulation module (30) for a male masturbation device (1) comprising:
a first body part (32);
a second body part (34); and
a flexible tube member (2) having a first end coupled to the first body part (32)
so as to form a first opening (16) for receiving a phallus and having a second end
coupled to the second body part (34) so as to form a second opening (18) and an insertion
opening (4) defined by an area of the flexible tube member (2) located between the
first opening (16) and the second opening (18) for receiving the phallus;
wherein the first opening (16), the second opening (18) and the insertion opening
(4) are substantially axially aligned; and
wherein the first body part (32) and the second body part (34) are configured to be
manipulable by rotation relative to one another thereby causing a deformation of the
flexible tube member (2) and regulating the diameter of the insertion opening (4).
