Technical Field

especially during the transportation, storage and safekeeping of carboys (water cooler
bottles) in the packaged water sector.
State of the Art
[0002] Since the beginning of the 1990s, especially big cities faced an important water
problem, mainly caused by infrastructure deficiencies. The cause of this problem is
that there was not enough water from the network and the water coming from the network
was unhealthy. For this reason, the packaged water sector has become an increasingly
widespread sector since 1997.
[0003] Carboys in blue color and made of a polycarbonate material are durable and easy to
clean. This heat - resistant material does not harm human health in any way. Most
of the carboys used by water companies in Turkey are produced in our country. However,
due to the capacity overload for the demand, the storage and safekeeping of 19 - liter
carboys in water distribution companies poses a problem regarding taking up space.
[0004] In current usage, carboy water purchase orders are given to in limited quantity due
to space problems and they are stored in single rows in warehouses or on heavy, space
- occupying pallets. Storage conditions are quite unhealthy, with the dusting or contamination
of the warehouses. Companies providing logistics can supply a certain amount of products
due to storage problems. Current use is just stacking, pallet logic and providing
logistic benefits.
[0005] As a result of the research on the subject, an application was found with the numbered
TR 2011 / 13341 the subject of "Carboy transport kit". The application is related
to the carboy transport kit consisting of pallets and separators with specially designed
feet to be suitable for the transportation of filled and grouped water bottles by
conveyor. In the said application, the pallet system mentioned above is used, and
a limited number of storages are possible with vertical stacking.
[0006] As a result of another research on the subject, the application numbered TR 2017
/ 04104 the subject of "New Generation Carboy Pallet System" was found. This application
includes a new generation carboy pallet system that enables the transportation of
water carboys and polyethylene carboys, as well as glass carboys, which are widely
used in water transport polyethylene carboys and glass carboys on the same pallet
due to their importance in terms of health, without the need for pallet change. In
the said application, the pallet system was used in the same way, many elements such
as the protection basket, the cover area, the bottom of the basket were used, and
the problem of more stacking space was not completely eliminated.
[0007] The said inventions found in the researches on the subject are improvements used
in different sectors and are insufficient in solving existing problems. This makes
it necessary to make a new development that will eliminate the said disadvantages
in the relevant technical field.
Objective of the Invention
[0008] The invention was inspired by the present situations and aims to solve the disadvantages
mentioned above.
[0009] The main objective of the invention is to eliminate problems such as space problem
and stacking in carboy storage.
[0010] Another objective of the invention is to provide storage according to preference,
due to modules that can be easily transported and increased or decreased.
[0011] Another objective of the invention is to allow more supply and stacking of carboys
by storing them horizontally rather than vertically.
[0012] Another objective of the invention is; that it is in a modular structure and can
be easily disassembled and assembled and can be adjusted according to the needs.
[0013] Another objective of the invention is; that it is in a modular structure, so the
damaged parts can be partially replaced, so there is no need to replace the entire
structure.
[0014] Another objective of the invention is to eliminate the problems such as tipping over
and bending that may occur during storage, by means of the lock configured in the
vertical plane.

to corrosion by mounting the vertical modules horizontally with the mounting pipes

that is connected with the support feet and allows the carboy to be positioned horizontally,
the support mounting pipe that provides the connection of the said support modules
with each other in the horizontal plane, the lock that ensures the fixation of the
said support modules in the vertical plane.

Detailed Description of the Invention
[0021] In general, the carboy storage and transport module, which is the subject of the
invention is a stacking area with a modular structure, which is designed in accordance
with the carboy (6) form, where the support modules (3) are connected to each other
in the horizontal plane with the support mounting elements (4), and are fixed with
the lock (5) in the vertical plane, standing on the support feet (1).
[0022] As can be seen in Figures 1 and 2, the said carboy storage and transport module is
a structure positioned on the feet (1). The support feet (1) take on the task of supporting
the entire structure and are connected to the other feet (1) with the feet mounting
pipes (2). The support modules (3) positioned on the support feet (1) are designed
in the form of a carboy (5) and allow the carboy (6) to be placed and transported
horizontally. As seen in Figure 2, modules (A) are formed by connecting support modules
(3) on top of each other. This connection is made through the lock (5) located between
the support modules (3). The said lock (5) prevents the stacked carboys (6) from tipping
over by providing fixation in the vertical plane.
[0023] The connection of the said support modules (3) and a mounted module (A) with other
support modules (3) in the horizontal plane is provided by the support mounting pipes
(4), shown in Figure 1. At the same time, lightness, durability and corrosion resistance
of the carboy storage and transport module, which is the subject of the invention,
is provided by horizontally mounting the modules (A) in the vertical plane with the
foot mounting pipes (2).
[0024] Alternative installation forms of the inventive carboy storage and transport module
with a modular structure are shown in Figure 3. The user can use single and / or multiple
blocks and / or modules by separating or combining them according to the supply situation
and requirement. In this way, she/he can also repair the damaged parts locally. It
is also ergonomic and can provide alternative use as a table when used outside the
warehouse, as in Figure 3.
