(57) An insect-repellent window system comprising a pivot window comprising a window and a window frame, the window being pivotably hinged with the window frame for movement between an open and closed position, so that in the open position a first part of the window is below the hinge axis is tilted outwards to form a first opening and a second part of the window above the hinge axis is tilted inwards to form a second opening, wherein the system comprises three insect screens, whereby a first insect screen is arranged with the pivot window to cover only one of the first opening and second opening, and wherein a second screen and a third screen are arranged with at the pivot window to cover the remaining opening of the first opening and second opening.
