(57) A method and apparatus for selective early measurement in a wireless communication
system is provided. A wireless device acquires information on one or more causes for
early measurements. A wireless device initiates an RRC connection establishment procedure
and/or an RRC connection resume procedure with a certain cause. A wireless device
performs early measurements based on the certain cause being included in the one or
more causes.
