(54) DISPENSING BOTTLE, CLOSURE CAP, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE


(57) The closure cap for a container, the closure cap comprising a base, a flip-top lid and a disk. The base comprises an outer skirt and an inner skirt connected by a planar section, a dome-shaped central portion having an opening disposed therein, the opening being generally aligned with an internal shaft extending from the dome-shaped surface and terminating at a non-planar end surface, and an internal annular attachment skirt depending from the dome-shaped central portion. The inner skirt includes threads disposed on an internal surface of the inner skirt. The flip-top lid comprises an interior projection disposed on an inner surface of the flip top lid, the flip-top lid being moveable between a first position in which the interior projection blocks the opening and a second position where the interior projection is not positioned in the opening. The disk comprises an exterior annular wall, partial annular slots and internal flanges. A mixing chamber is formed by the disk, the dome-shaped central portion, the internal annular attachment skirt and the internal shaft. One or more fluid channels are formed by the non-planar end surface of the internal shaft, the disk and the partial annular slots. The base comprises a first angled tip and/or the disk comprises a second angled tip.
