(54) MODULAR SHELVING UNIT


(57) A modular shelving unit and system are provided. A modular shelving unit includes a first shelf having a top surface, a plurality of sides surrounding the top surface, each side having a side surface perpendicular to the top surface. The modular shelving unit includes a plurality of frame members coupled to the first shelf. The first shelf includes at least one first mount interface on one of the plurality of sides, wherein the first mount interface is recessed from the side surface.
