(57) A wrapper for aerosol generating articles. The wrapper has a high paper density and may be utilized with an aerosol generating substrate. An aerosol generating article includes an aerosol generating substrate comprising nicotine, and a wrapper disposed about the aerosol generating substrate. The wrapper includes a paper layer having a thickness/grammage of about 1.2 micrometers/gsm or less.
