(54) OVEN WITH VARIABLE AIR FLOW DISTRIBUTION

(57) The invention relates to an oven that provides homogeneous cooking by transferring air in the desired direction by means of the fan protection sheet comprising multiple openings that allow the air activated by the fan to be sent to the cooking room, and the openings on the air guide sheet.

Description

Technical field of the invention

[0001] The invention relates to an oven that provides homogeneous cooking by transferring air in the desired direction by means of the fan protection sheet comprising multiple openings that allow the air activated by the fan to be sent to the cooking room, and the openings on the air guide sheet.

State of the Art

[0002] Fans are used in many white goods for purposes such as ventilation, circulation, hot air detection and cooling. Fans are generally placed on the top or back of the cooking chamber and are used for different purposes such as blowing the heated air into the cooking chamber, blowing the air out of the cooking chamber, and ensuring that the hot air in the cooking chamber is distributed homogeneously within the cooking chamber. There is a moving impeller inside the fan, and air flow is provided by the rotation of the impeller. Since there is a moving part inside the fan that rotates at high speed, it is very important to protect the area where the fan is fixed to ensure safe operation of the fan and to prevent possible accidents. After the fans used in the ovens are fixed inside the oven, they are surrounded by a protection piece and necessary safety precautions are taken.

[0003] Fan protection sheets made of sheet metal are generally used to cover the area where the fan is located. After the fan is fixed, a fan protection sheet is mounted in the area where the fan is located and the area around the fan is closed. Fan protection sheet is generally manufactured in sheet-metal moulds used in eccentric or hydraulic presses. Fan protection sheets are designed according to the dimensions of the fan used and the location where the fan will be mounted, and the protection sheets are manufactured in presses according to this design. After the fan protection sheet is manufactured, it is taken to the enamel line and the part is enamelled.

[0004] In the state of the art, there are many studies, patents and/or utility model applications regarding ovens, oven internal structures, fans and fan protection sheets. One of these is the patent application numbered "TR 2016/17964". The invention relates to an oven in which a homogeneous cooking is achieved by transferring air from the openings to the cooking chamber in the desired direction and which comprises a chassis, a cooking chamber within this chassis, in which trays are placed on which the food to be cooked is placed, a heater that provides heating of the air in the cooking chamber, at least one fan located on the side where the rear wall of the chassis is located and mobilizes the heated air, a fan compartment in which the heater and fan are placed, a fan protection sheet inside the chassis that separates the cooking room and the fan compartment, and multiple openings on the fan protection sheet that allow the air activated by the fan to be sent to the cooking room.

[0005] Another document in the state of the art is the application numbered "TR 2009/08301". Said invention relates to an oven comprising a cooking chamber, one or more fans located outside the cooking chamber that moves the air, a rear wall that ensures that the air mobilized by the fan is directed into the cooking chamber and separates the cooking chamber and the volume comprising the fan, multiple suction holes in various numbers and forms, preferably in the middle of the rear wall, in various combinations, on the back wall, in the part corresponding to the area swept by the fan, which ensures the circulation of the air activated by the fan in the cooking room. Directing the air activated by the fan in the oven cooking room into the cooking room provides a solution to the time and energy consumption caused by air flow. The separator and trigger placed inside the cooking room change the air flow on the fan cover and by ensuring air flow in only one section of the separated cooking room, both time and energy savings were tried to be achieved. A new technology is needed that can provide homogeneous cooking without any compartmentalisation in the oven chamber.

[0006] The invention that is the subject of the patent numbered "TR 2017/16727" in the state of the art relates to a cooking device comprising an external cabin, a cooking chamber positioned with a gap between it and the external cabin, at least one heater that provides heating of the air inside, at least one fan that moves the heated air, a fan protection sheet separating the section where the heater and fan are located from the cooking room, at least one side wall attached to both sides of the fan protection sheet, a flange on both side edges of the fan protection sheet and three transition spaces placed one above the other on each flange, ensuring a homogeneous temperature distribution in the cooking chamber. It comprises an inlet port through which equal amounts of air passes through the channels since equal amounts of air pass through each passage space through different areas of the passage spaces to ensure a homogeneous distribution and which allows the air coming from the passage spaces of the side wall to enter, and at least one channel with at least one hole arranged along the horizontal axis, which allows the air taken from the inlet port to be blown into the cooking chamber. Since a system that regulates hot air according to the position of the food placed in the oven has not been described, a new technology is needed in this regard.

[0007] The invention that is the subject of the patent numbered "EP1045208A2" in the state of the art relates to a heating apparatus with a turntable mechanism, and more specifically to a high-speed oven, to heat the food products to be cooked using a combination of heated air impact and microwaves. It is aimed to ensure homogeneous cooking. For this purpose, a furnace has been developed in which internal heating and surface heating are combined. Here, the fan protection can be removed from the heating chamber to improve cleaning performance. The oven can be improved by adapting a part other than the fan protection. Since the invention does not disclose a dynamic (optional) air blowing channel that may vary depending on the location of the food cooked inside, a new technology is needed in this regard.

[0008] As can be seen from the content of patent and utility model applications, examples of which are given above, none of them describe an air guide fan protection sheet that contains an adjustable air guide sheet without the need for an extra motor, belt, pulley, gear, slide, fan cylinder, power supply, control module, relay or energy, among the fan protection sheet used in ovens. For this reason, an oven is needed in which the air direction can be adjusted and thus a homogeneous cooking environment can be provided without any extra components.

[0009] Another disadvantage of the current system is that there is no distinction in cooking foods that are clustered in the middle of the tray (such as a whole chicken) and foods that are completely spread out on the tray (such as pizza). The fan protection sheets used in existing ovens constantly circulate hot air through the same air ducts. The user constantly controls the product being cooked in the oven chamber and changes either the position or direction of the product in order to cook it homogeneously. This situation causes the cooking time to be long because the air inside the oven cannot be used efficiently when the oven door is opened, and therefore the energy consumption increases due to insufficient hot air guiding. Therefore, there is a need for an energy-saving innovation in which foods of different sizes cooked in the oven are cooked homogeneously.

[0010] Another disadvantage of the current system is that the heat direction in the circulation of air in the oven is insufficient due to the fact that the hot air directing channels in the existing oven are fixed. Because, in the state of the art, the air in the oven cooking chamber is sucked from the same point by the fan motor and sent back into the oven from another single point. In this case, homogeneous cooking cannot be achieved by transmitting hot air to a fixed point in different components used in the oven cooking chamber, such as trays, wire racks, and chicken cooking rods.

[0011] As a result, due to the negativities described above and the inadequacy of existing solutions on the subject, a new technology is needed in the relevant technical field.

Brief Description and Aims of the Invention

[0012] The invention relates to an oven that meets the above-mentioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and provides some additional advantages, providing homogeneous cooking.

[0013] The most important aim of the invention is to provide a special cooking environment for the food to be cooked. In order to cook food placed in the oven hotspot more efficiently, an air guide sheet has been developed that can be changed by the user using a latch. In this way, there is a difference between cooking foods that are clustered in the middle of the tray (like a whole chicken) and foods that are completely spread out on the tray (like pizza). Since the air flow can be adjusted by the user according to the product placed, a homogeneous cooking environment can be provided.

[0014] Another aim of the invention is to provide an oven with an adjustable air guide sheet without the need for an extra motor, belt, pulley, gear, slide, fan cylinder, power supply, control module, relay or energy. To this end, in the invention, the air coming from the air guide sheet is easily directed by the user by using only the latch.

[0015] Another aim of the invention is to save energy in cooking food. Air is supplied through slot-type openings on the front of the air-guided fan protection sheet mentioned in the invention, thus saving energy when cooking foods that do not cover the entire tray.

[0016] Another aim of the invention is to prevent unnecessary heating of the right-left side and upper-bottom doors of the oven. With the invention, since the hot air will directly contact the food, unnecessary heating of the right-left side and upper-bottom doors of the oven is prevented, and energy losses are minimised.

Detailed Description of the Invention

[0019] The invention relates to an oven that provides homogeneous cooking by transferring air in the desired direction by means of the fan protection sheet comprising multiple openings that allow the air activated by the fan to be sent to the cooking room, and the openings on the air guide sheet.

[0020] The oven back sheet (6), which covers the back part of the oven body (7), is positioned on the inner back part of the oven body (7). As can be seen in Figure-1, the fan motor (5) is mounted on the oven back sheet (6), which covers the back part of the oven body (7). The fan motor (5) rotates the fan (5) and the fan propeller (4) moves the air heated by the fan motor (5).

[0021] On the part of the oven back sheet (6) facing the oven hotspot, the fan propeller (4) which moves the heated air, the air guide sheet (2) which can be moved with the latch (3) and is positioned between the fan protection sheet (1) and the fan propeller, the fan protection sheet (1) and the latch (3) that rotates the air guide sheet (2) are mounted, respectively. The latch (3) mounted together on the fan protection sheet (1) and the air guide sheet (2) allows the air to be directed according to the product the user will cook. The user can change the direction of the air as seen in Figures 3 and 4. By using the latch (3), an oven, air direction of which can be adjusted, can be provided without the need for an extra motor, belt, pulley, gear, slide, fan cylinder, power supply, control module, relay or energy.

[0022] In order to heat the air in the cooking chamber where the baking tray (10), wire rack (11) or chicken cooking stick (12) in which the product to be cooked are placed, the top heating resistance (8) is placed at the top part of the cooking chamber and the bottom heating resistance (9) is placed at the bottom part. In this way, heat is provided to the furnace hotspot from both the top and bottom.

[0023] A special cooking environment can be provided for the food to be cooked in the oven developed with the invention. When the product to be cooked is placed on the baking tray (10) or on the wire rack (11), the latch (3) is turned to ensure that the air comes into the chamber in a circumferential manner as shown in Figure 3. Since the openings (13) of the fan protection sheet (1) and the openings (13) of the air guide sheet (2) do not match when the cooking process is carried out using the baking tray (10) or wire rack (11), there is no air passage through the openings (13) in the air guide sheet (2), and this air enters the hotspot from the side parts of the sheets.

[0024] To carry out the cooking process using the cooking stick (12), the latch (3) is turned by the user in the same way so that the air comes directly as in Figure 4. In order for the air to exit as in Figure 4, the openings (13) of the air guide sheet (2), which is rotated by the latch (3), coincide with the openings (13) of the fan protection sheet (1), and air passes through these openings (13). Said openings (13) are slot-shaped and their dimensions may vary depending on the oven dimensions to be applied. The openings (13) ensure that the air activated by the fan (4) is sent to the cooking chamber (hotspot) as shown in Figures 3 or 4. In this way, a special cooking environment is created for the product to be cooked, providing a difference between cooking foods clustered in the middle of the tray (such as a whole chicken) and foods spread completely on the tray (such as pizza). Since the air flow can be adjusted by the user according to the product placed, a homogeneous cooking environment can be provided.

[0025] Since the air will pass directly to the food to be cooked through the openings (13), unnecessary heating of the right-left side and upper-bottom doors of the oven is prevented. In this way, energy losses are also minimised. The parts in the oven, where homogeneous cooking is provided, are enamel coated, especially the latch (3) and the air guide sheet (2) in order to be resistant to friction and abrasion.
