TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of vehicle-mounted refrigerators,
and particularly relates to a two-way openable refrigerator door and a refrigerator
including the two-way openable door.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Vehicle-mounted refrigerators refer to refrigerating cabinets that can be carried
on vehicles. The vehicle-mounted refrigerators are a new generation of popular refrigerating
and cooling appliances in international markets in recent years, and are essential
facilities on recreational vehicles (RVs) at present. Due to limited space in the
RV, the vehicle-mounted refrigerator usually uses a single-door single-side opening
method rather than a double-door opening method, but the single-door single-side opening
method is still not convenient in use. Because of the limited space in the RV, the
single-door single-side opening method is not adapted for either everyone's habits
nor spatial changes in the RV, and the position of the refrigerator is greatly restricted.
[0003] In view of defects of the single-door single-side opening method of the vehicle-mounted
refrigerator, a single-door double-side opening method is provided. However, the single-door
double-side opening method still has the following drawbacks: 1) If two sides of the
vehicle-mounted refrigerator can be opened at the same time, it is easy to cause misoperation
to detach a refrigerator door, damage the refrigerator door, or even pose potential
safety hazards. 2) If the two sides of the vehicle-mounted refrigerator cannot be
opened at the same time, when one side of the vehicle-mounted refrigerator is opened
and the other side of the vehicle-mounted refrigerator is locked, although there is
no misoperation to cause detachment of the refrigerator door, the two sides of the
vehicle-mounted refrigerator cannot be opened at the same time to cause difficult
installation and detachment of the refrigerator door. After the refrigerator door
is installed in production, the refrigerator door is detached difficultly or even
becomes non-detachable. This does not facilitate subsequent maintenance of the refrigerator.
3) The refrigerator door is not connected to the refrigerator firmly. In case of a
jolt of the RV in driving, the refrigerator door is shaken and damaged easily.
SUMMARY
[0004] In view of problems of a single-door double-side opening method of a vehicle-mounted
refrigerator in the prior art, namely misoperation is easily caused to detach a refrigerator
door if two sides of the vehicle-mounted refrigerator can be opened at the same time,
and the refrigerator door is installed and detached difficultly if the two sides of
the vehicle-mounted refrigerator cannot be opened at the same time, the present disclosure
provides a two-way openable refrigerator door and a refrigerator including the two-way
openable door.
[0005] To solve the above technical problems, the present disclosure adopts the following
technical solutions: A two-way openable refrigerator door includes a refrigerator
door, a left locking mechanism, and a right locking mechanism, where the left locking
mechanism and the right locking mechanism are respectively provided at a left side
and a right side of the refrigerator door; and the left locking mechanism and the
right locking mechanism are structurally the same, and each include a lock hole, lock
bolts, a door spindle, a lock bolt sleeve, and an operation assembly;
the lock hole is fixedly provided on a refrigerator housing; the door spindle is fixedly
provided on the refrigerator door; the lock bolts are sequentially and slidably provided
in the door spindle and the lock hole; a clamping groove is formed in the lock bolt;
and a clamping plate is provided on the door spindle;
the operation assembly is configured to drive the lock bolt sleeve, thereby driving
the lock bolt to move away from the lock hole; a first restoring member is provided
between the lock bolt sleeve and the refrigerator door; and the first restoring member
is configured to drive the lock bolt sleeve, thereby driving the lock bolt to insert
into the lock hole for restoration;
a linkage member is provided between the operation assembly at the left side and the
operation assembly at the right side; and when the lock bolt at one side moves away
from the lock hole, the linkage member is configured to limit the operation assembly
at the other side; and
a second elastic member is provided between the lock bolt and the lock bolt sleeve;
and when the lock bolt at one side moves away from the lock hole, the refrigerator
door may rotate to open and drive the lock bolt at the other side to rotate at a certain
angle α, then the lock hole limits continuous rotation of the lock bolt, the refrigerator
door continuously rotates to open, thereby driving the door spindle to rotate continuously,
and the clamping plate of the door spindle is inserted into the clamping groove of
the lock bolt to limit the lock bolt to slide along the lock hole and the door spindle.
[0006] Preferably, 0.2°≤ α≤ 4.8°. The lock bolt functioning as a rotating shaft can rotate
together with the door spindle within the angle α. That is, when the refrigerator
door is opened within the angle α, the lock bolt functioning as the rotating shaft
can slide along the lock hole and the door spindle. The lock bolt functioning as the
rotating shaft can slide away from the lock hole, so as to detach the refrigerator
door. The angle α is defined appropriately. The refrigerator door can be detached
conveniently at the specific angle. At the specific angle, misoperation is effectively
prevented to detach the refrigerator door.
[0007] Preferably, the first restoring member includes a guide sleeve and a first elastic
member; the guide sleeve is fixedly connected to the door spindle; the lock bolt sleeve
is slidably provided in the guide sleeve; and the first elastic member is provided
between the lock bolt sleeve and the guide sleeve. The first restoring member is structured
simply and reliably. With the first elastic member, the lock bolt sleeve slides to
the lock hole for restoration. The lock bolt sleeve can rotate with the guide sleeve
under a squeezing action of the first elastic member.
[0008] Further, the first elastic member is a first spring; the first spring is sleeved
on the lock bolt sleeve; the second elastic member is a second spring; and the second
spring is sleeved on the lock bolt. With the first spring, the lock bolt sleeve slides
to the lock hole for restoration. The lock bolt sleeve can rotate with the guide sleeve
under the squeezing action of the first elastic member. With the second spring, the
lock bolt slides to the lock hole for restoration. The lock bolt can rotate with the
lock bolt sleeve under a squeezing action of the second elastic member.
[0009] Preferably, the lock hole is rectangular; a left side and a right side of the lock
bolt each are a plane parallel to a side of the lock hole; and a gap is provided between
a plane of the lock bolt and the lock hole, such that when the lock bolt at one side
moves away from the lock hole, the refrigerator door may rotate to open and drive
the lock bolt at the other side to rotate at a certain angle α, and then the lock
hole limits continuous rotation of the lock bolt. The lock bolt functioning as the
rotating shaft can rotate together with the door spindle within the angle α. That
is, when the refrigerator door is opened within the angle α, the lock bolt functioning
as the rotating shaft can slide along the lock hole and the door spindle. The lock
bolt functioning as the rotating shaft can slide away from the lock hole, so as to
detach the refrigerator door. The refrigerator door can be detached conveniently at
the specific angle. At the specific angle, misoperation is effectively prevented to
detach the refrigerator door.
[0010] Preferably, an avoidance groove and a limit groove communicating with each other
are formed in the lock bolt sleeve; a lock bolt buckle is extended on the lock bolt;
when the refrigerator door is closed, the lock bolt buckle may slide along the avoidance
groove; and when the refrigerator door rotates to open, the lock bolt buckle slides
along the limit groove. This makes the lock bolt slide up and down more reliably and
stably, and makes the lock bolt rotate more reliably and stably.
[0011] Preferably, the operation assembly includes a handle and connecting plates; the handle
is provided on the refrigerator door; the connecting plates each include one end connected
to the lock bolt sleeve, and the other end provided with an oblique surface; a drive
member is provided between the oblique surface of the connecting plate and the handle;
and a third elastic member is provided on the handle. The operation assembly is structured
simply and reliably. By pushing the drive member with the handle, the connecting plate
moves away from the lock hole. Therefore, the operation is convenient.
[0012] Further, an upper end and a lower end of the refrigerator door are symmetrically
provided with the lock bolts; and two vertically arranged connecting plates correspond
to one drive member. This greatly improves a connection strength of the refrigerator
door, and effectively prevents shaking of the refrigerator door.
[0013] Further, the linkage member includes a connecting rod; a slideway is provided in
the refrigerator door; the connecting rod is slidably provided in the slideway; two
ends of the connecting rod each are provided with an oblique surface; the drive member
is also provided with an oblique surface; and when the operation assembly at one side
drives the lock bolt to move away from the lock hole, the oblique surface of the drive
member at the side cooperates with the oblique surface of the connecting rod to drive
the connecting rod to move to the other side; and the oblique surface at the other
side of the connecting rod abuts against the oblique surface of the drive member at
the other side, so as to limit the operation assembly at the other side. The linkage
member is structured simply and reliably, is designed skillfully, and effectively
prevents misoperation to detach the refrigerator door.
[0014] Preferably, the refrigerator door is provided vertically; the lock bolt slides along
a vertical direction; and an operating end of the operation assembly is located at
a side edge of a front of the refrigerator door. This meets the ergonomics, and can
operate the two-way openable refrigerator door within a limited space of an RV.
[0015] Preferably, the two-way openable refrigerator door further includes a ventilation
mechanism; the ventilation mechanism includes a movable plate and an upright post;
the movable plate is hinged to a top of the refrigerator door and hidden at the top
of the refrigerator door; the upright post is fixedly provided at a top of the refrigerator
housing; and after the refrigerator door rotates to open, the movable plate may be
taken out and clamped with the upright post, so as to maintain the refrigerator door
to open at a certain angle β. If the refrigerator is not used for a long term, the
refrigerator door is opened at the angle β and fixed, such as β=1°, so as to ventilate
the refrigerator. This effectively prevents a peculiar smell, bacteria breeding and
the like. This function is provided at both the left side and the right side of the
refrigerator door.
[0016] A refrigerator including a two-way openable door includes the above any two-way openable
refrigerator door, where the refrigerator including a two-way openable door further
includes at least one storage chamber; the at least one storage chamber is sequentially
provided; and the two-way openable refrigerator door is provided at an opening of
the storage chamber.
[0017] Preferably, there are two storage chambers; the two storage chambers are sequentially
arranged along the vertical direction; and one of the storage chambers is a refrigerating
chamber, while the other one of the storage chambers is a freezing chamber. The refrigerator
including a two-way openable door has a reasonable layout, and ensures complete refrigerating
and freezing functions.
[0018] The present disclosure has the following beneficial effects:
- 1. According to the two-way openable refrigerator door provided by the present disclosure,
the left locking mechanism and the right locking mechanism are structurally the same.
That is, the two-way openable refrigerator door can be opened from a left side and
a right side. For example, the door is opened from the left side. Specifically, the
left operation assembly drives the lock bolt sleeve, thereby driving the lock bolt
to move away from the lock hole. The left operation assembly limits the right operation
assembly through the linkage member. That is, the right operation assembly cannot
move to open the refrigerator door, and the refrigerator door can only be opened from
the left side. After the refrigerator door is opened from the left side, the left
operation assembly is restored, and the right operation assembly is not limited by
the linkage member. During rotation for opening the refrigerator door, the refrigerator
door drives the right door spindle, the right guide sleeve, the right first restoring
member, the right lock bolt sleeve, the right second elastic member and the right
lock bolt to rotate. That is, within a range from a moment when the refrigerator door
is opened to the angle α to which the refrigerator door rotates, the right operation
assembly drives the lock bolt sleeve, thereby driving the lock bolt to move away from
the lock hole. By separating the right lock bolt from the lock hole, the refrigerator
door can be detached conveniently. That is, the refrigerator door can only be detached
at the specific angle α. This effectively prevents misoperation to detach the refrigerator
door.
- 2. According to the two-way openable refrigerator door provided by the present disclosure,
after the refrigerator door is opened from the left side to rotate over the angle
α, the right lock bolt is limited by the lock hole and stops rotating with the refrigerator
door continuously. The right door spindle, the right first restoring member, the right
lock bolt sleeve and the right second elastic member still rotate with the refrigerator
door continuously. In this case, the clamping plate of the right door spindle is inserted
into the clamping groove of the lock bolt, so as to limit the right lock bolt to slide
along the lock hole and the door spindle. That is, the right handle cannot be operated
to separate the right lock bolt from the lock hole. This effectively prevents misoperation
to detach the refrigerator door.
- 3. According to the two-way openable refrigerator door provided by the present disclosure,
the refrigerator door is installed only by parallel pushing the refrigerator door
into the refrigerator housing. During installation, the lock bolt compresses the second
elastic member first. When the lock bolt corresponds to the lock hole, the lock bolt
is inserted into the lock hole under a counteraction of the second elastic member.
This realizes the convenient installation of the refrigerator door.
- 4. The two-way openable refrigerator door provided by the present disclosure is structured
simply and designed skillfully. The lock bolt abuts against the lock hole reliably
and stably. This effectively prevents shaking or opening of the refrigerator door
due to a jolt of the RV.
- 5. The two-way openable refrigerator door provided by the present disclosure further
includes the ventilation mechanism. After the refrigerator door rotates to open, the
movable plate can be taken out and clamped with the upright post, so as to maintain
the refrigerator door to open at a certain angle β. If the refrigerator is not used
for a long term, the refrigerator door is opened at the angle β and fixed, so as to
ventilate the refrigerator. This effectively prevents a peculiar smell, bacteria breeding
and the like.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
[0021] The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure are clearly
and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of
the present disclosure. Apparently, the described embodiments are merely a part rather
than all of the embodiments of the present disclosure. The following description of
at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative, and not intended to limit
the present disclosure and application or use thereof in any way. All other embodiments
obtained by a person of ordinary skill in the art on the basis of the embodiments
of the present disclosure without creative efforts shall fall within the protection
scope of the present disclosure.
Embodiment 1
[0022] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 9, a two-way openable refrigerator door includes refrigerator
door 1, left locking mechanism 2, and right locking mechanism 3. The left locking
mechanism 2 and the right locking mechanism 3 are respectively provided at a left
side and a right side of the refrigerator door 1. The left locking mechanism 2 and
the right locking mechanism 3 are structurally the same, and each include lock hole
21, lock bolts 22, door spindle 23, lock bolt sleeve 24, and operation assembly 25.
The lock hole 21 is fixedly provided on refrigerator housing 5. The door spindle 23
is fixedly provided on the refrigerator door 1. The lock bolts 22 are sequentially
and slidably provided in the door spindle 23 and the lock hole 21. Clamping groove
221 is formed in the lock bolt 22. Clamping plate 231 is provided on the door spindle
23. The operation assembly 25 is configured to drive the lock bolt sleeve 24, thereby
driving the lock bolt 22 to move away from the lock hole 21. First restoring member
26 is provided between the lock bolt sleeve 24 and the refrigerator door 1. The first
restoring member 26 is configured to drive the lock bolt sleeve 24, thereby driving
the lock bolt 22 to insert into the lock hole 21 for restoration. Linkage member 4
is provided between the operation assembly 25 at the left side and the operation assembly
at the right side. When the lock bolt 22 at one side moves away from the lock hole
21, the linkage member 4 is configured to limit the operation assembly 25 at the other
side. Second elastic member 27 is provided between the lock bolt 22 and the lock bolt
sleeve 24. In the embodiment, the second elastic member 27 is a second spring. The
second spring is sleeved on the lock bolt 22. When the lock bolt 22 at one side moves
away from the lock hole 21, the refrigerator door 1 may rotate to open and drive the
lock bolt 22 at the other side to rotate at a certain angle α. In the embodiment,
0.2°≤α≤4.8°. The lock hole 21 limits continuous rotation of the lock bolt 22. The
refrigerator door 1 continuously rotates to open, thereby driving the door spindle
23 to rotate continuously. The clamping plate 231 of the door spindle 23 is inserted
into the clamping groove 221 of the lock bolt 22 to limit the lock bolt 22 to slide
along the lock hole 21 and the door spindle 23.
[0023] In the embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 7, the refrigerator door 1 is provided
vertically. The lock bolt 22 slides along a vertical direction. An upper end and a
lower end of the refrigerator door 1 symmetrically provided with the lock bolts 22.
[0024] In order to ensure that the lock bolt sleeve 24 slides to the lock hole 21 for restoration,
and that the lock bolt sleeve 24 rotates with the door spindle 23, as shown in FIG.
2 and FIG. 3 in the embodiment, the first restoring member 26 includes guide sleeve
261 and first elastic member 262. The guide sleeve 261 is fixedly connected to the
door spindle 23. The lock bolt sleeve 24 is slidably provided in the guide sleeve
261. The first elastic member 262 is provided between the lock bolt sleeve 24 and
the guide sleeve 261. In the embodiment, the first elastic member 262 is the first
spring, and the first spring is sleeved on the lock bolt sleeve 24. With the first
spring, the lock bolt sleeve 24 slides to the lock hole 21 for restoration. The lock
bolt sleeve 24 can rotate with the guide sleeve 261 under a squeezing action of the
first spring.
[0025] In order to ensure that the refrigerator door 1 can only be detached conveniently
at the specific angle, and to effectively prevent misoperation to detach the refrigerator
door 1, as shown in FIGS. 2-7 and FIG. 9 in the embodiment, the lock hole 21 is rectangular.
A left side and a right side of the lock bolt 22 each are a plane parallel to a side
of the lock hole 21. A gap is provided between a plane of the lock bolt 22 and the
lock hole 21, such that when the lock bolt 22 at one side moves away from the lock
hole 21, the refrigerator door 1 may rotate to open and drive the lock bolt 22 at
the other side to rotate at a certain angle α. In the embodiment, 0.2°≤α≤4.8°. The
lock hole 21 limits continuous rotation of the lock bolt 22. Further, in the embodiment,
avoidance groove 241 and limit groove 242 communicating with each other are formed
in the lock bolt sleeve 24. Lock bolt buckle 222 is extended on the lock bolt 22.
When the refrigerator door 1 is closed, the lock bolt buckle 222 may slide along the
avoidance groove 241. When the refrigerator door 1 rotates to open, the lock bolt
22 is stressed by the second spring, such that the lock bolt buckle 222 slides along
the limit groove 242, until the lock hole 21 limits continuous rotation of the lock
bolt 22.
[0026] Specifically, in the embodiment, the operation assembly 25 includes handle 251 and
connecting plates 252. The handle 251 is rotatably provided on the refrigerator door
1. In the embodiment, the handle 251 is located at a side edge of a front of the refrigerator
door 1. The connecting plates 252 each include one end connected to the lock bolt
sleeve 24, and the other end provided with an oblique surface. Drive member 253 is
provided between the oblique surface of the connecting plate 252 and the handle 251.
By pushing the drive member 253 with the handle 251, the connecting plate 252 moves
away from the lock hole 21. In the embodiment, two vertically arranged connecting
plates 252 correspond to one drive member 253. Third elastic member 254 is provided
on the handle 251. In the embodiment, the third elastic member 254 is a reset torsional
spring. Further, in the embodiment, the linkage member 4 includes connecting rod 41.
Slideway 42 is provided in the refrigerator door 1. The connecting rod 41 is slidably
provided in the slideway 42. Two ends of the connecting rod 41 each are provided with
an oblique surface. The drive member 253 is also provided with an oblique surface.
When the operation assembly 25 at one side drives the lock bolt 22 to move away from
the lock hole 21, the oblique surface of the drive member 253 at the one side cooperates
with the oblique surface of the connecting rod 41 to drive the connecting rod 41 to
move to the other side. The oblique surface at the other side of the connecting rod
41 abuts against the oblique surface of the drive member 253 at the other side, so
as to limit the operation assembly 25 at the other side. This effectively prevents
the misoperation to detach the refrigerator door 1.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 8, a refrigerator including a two-way openable door includes
the above two-way openable refrigerator door. The refrigerator including a two-way
openable door further includes at least one storage chamber 7. The at least one storage
chamber 7 is sequentially provided. The two-way openable refrigerator door is provided
at an opening of the storage chamber 7. Specifically, there are two storage chambers
7. The two storage chambers 7 are sequentially arranged along the vertical direction.
One of the storage chambers 7 is a refrigerating chamber, while the other one of the
storage chambers 7 is a freezing chamber. This ensures complete refrigerating and
freezing functions.
[0028] The working principle is as follows:
The left locking mechanism 2 and the right locking mechanism 3 are structurally the
same. That is, the two-way openable refrigerator door can be opened from a left side
and a right side. For example, the door is opened from the left side. Specifically:
[0029] The left handle 251 is rotated. The left handle 251 pushes the drive member 253.
The left drive member 253 squeezes the oblique surface of the upper connecting plate
252 and the oblique surface of the lower connecting plate at the same time. The left
drive member 253 squeezes the left oblique surface of the connecting rod 41, such
that the left connecting plate 252, the left lock bolt sleeve 24 and the left lock
bolt 22 sequentially move away from the lock hole 21, until the left lock bolt 22
is separated from the lock hole 21. Meanwhile, the right oblique surface of the connecting
rod 41 squeezes the right drive member 253, so as to limit the right drive member
253. That is, the right handle 251 cannot be rotated to open the refrigerator door
1, and the refrigerator door 1 can only be opened from the left side. After the refrigerator
door 1 is opened from the left side, the left handle 251 is released for restoration.
In rotation for opening the refrigerator door 1, the refrigerator door 1 drives the
right door spindle 23, the right guide sleeve 261, the right first elastic member
262, the right lock bolt sleeve 24, the right second elastic member 27 and the right
lock bolt 22 to rotate at the same time. That is, within a range from a moment when
the refrigerator door 1 is opened to 4.8° to which the refrigerator door rotates,
the right handle 251 can be rotated, with the same operation as the case in which
the refrigerator door 1 is opened from the left side. Consequently, the right lock
bolt 22 is separated from the lock hole 21, thereby detaching the refrigerator door
1 conveniently.
[0030] After the refrigerator door 1 rotates over 4.8°, the right lock bolt 22 is limited
by the lock hole 21 and stops rotating with the refrigerator door 1 continuously.
The right door spindle 23, the right guide sleeve 261, the right first elastic member
262, the right lock bolt sleeve 24 and the right second elastic member 27 still rotate
with the refrigerator door 1 continuously. In this case, the clamping plate 231 of
the right door spindle 23 is inserted into the clamping groove 221 of the lock bolt
22. The lock bolt buckle 222 of the right lock bolt 22 slides along a guide groove
of the lock bolt sleeve 24, so as to limit the right lock bolt 22 to slide along the
lock hole 21 and the door spindle 23. That is, the right handle 251 cannot be operated
to separate the right lock bolt 22 from the lock hole 21. This effectively prevents
misoperation to detach the refrigerator door 1.
[0031] The refrigerator door 1 is installed only by keeping the handle 251 naturally, and
parallel pushing the refrigerator door 1 into an opening of the storage chamber. During
installation, the lock bolt 22 compresses the second elastic member 27 first. When
the lock bolt 22 corresponds to the lock hole 21, the lock bolt 22 is inserted into
the lock hole 21 under a counteraction of the second elastic member 27. This realizes
the convenient installation of the refrigerator door 1.
Embodiment 2
[0032] As shown in FIG. 10, FIG. 11 and FIG. 12, the embodiment differs from Embodiment
1 in: The two-way openable refrigerator door further includes ventilation mechanism
6. The ventilation mechanism 6 includes movable plate 61 and upright post 62. The
movable plate 61 is hinged to a top of the refrigerator door 1 and hidden at the top
of the refrigerator door 1. The upright post 62 is fixedly provided at a top of the
refrigerator housing 5. After the refrigerator door 1 rotates to open, the movable
plate 61 may be taken out and clamped with the upright post 62, so as to maintain
the refrigerator door 1 to open at a certain angle β. In the embodiment, β=1°. If
the refrigerator is not used for a long term, the refrigerator door 1 is opened at
the angle β and fixed, so as to ventilate the refrigerator. This effectively prevents
a peculiar smell, bacteria breeding and the like. The function can be provided at
the left side and the right side of the refrigerator door 1.
[0033] The above described are merely preferred specific implementations of the present
disclosure, and the protection scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
Any equivalent substitutions or changes made by those skilled in the art according
to the technical solutions and concepts of the present disclosure within the technical
scope of the present disclosure should be covered by the protection scope of the present
disclosure.
