Detailed Description
[0011] Hereinafter, the technical solutions in the present disclosure will be clearly and
completely described in combination with embodiments and accompanying drawings. Obviously,
the embodiments as described are only parts of embodiments rather than all the embodiments
of the present disclosure. On the basis of the embodiments in the present disclosure,
all other embodiments obtained by a person of ordinary skill in the art without any
inventive effort shall all fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure.
[0012] Fig. 1 illustrates a schematic diagram of a three-dimensional structure of a surface
cleaning device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In the present
embodiment, the surface cleaning device is a portable deep cleaner, and includes a
main body 10, the main body 10 includes: a cleaning solution supply tank 101; a recovery
tank 102; a steam generating device (not shown), connected to the cleaning solution
supply tank 101; a hose 104, connected to the recovery tank 102; a wand 105, connected
to the hose 104; and a steam supply pipe 106, provided in the hose 104 and the wand
105, wherein a first end of the steam supply pipe is connected to the steam generating
device; and a steam supply interface 107, connected to a second end of the steam supply
pipe 106.
[0013] As can be seen from Fig. 1, the surface cleaning device may be equipped with different
cleaning accessories (e.g. two steam chamber cleaning accessories 30 of different
shapes or specifications), and one concentrated steam shot accessory 20. The surface
cleaning device may have different operating modes, such as a water spraying cleaning
mode, a steam cleaning mode, a steam disinfection mode, etc. A user may selectively
mount different cleaning accessories at an end of the wand 105 according to different
needs and cleaning modes.
[0014] With reference to Figs. 2a, 2b, and 2c, these views represent various structures
of a concentrated steam shot accessory according to embodiments of the present disclosure,
which shows connection to a wand and a hose of a surface cleaning device. Fig. 2b
illustrates a sectional structure of the concentrated steam shot accessory of Fig.
2a. Fig. 2c illustrates a partially enlarged structure of part A of the concentrated
steam shot accessory of Fig. 2b. It can be seen that a locking button 105a is provided
on the wand 105; and a button aperture 21a in cooperation with the locking button
105a is provided on a shot accessory housing 21 of the concentrated steam shot accessory
20. By the cooperation between the locking button 105a on the wand 105 and the button
aperture 21a on the shot accessory housing 21, the steam shot accessory 20 can be
conveniently connected to and released from the main body 10 of the cleaning device.
[0015] Likewise, locking buttons are also provided on other cleaning accessories, such as
the steam chamber cleaning accessories 30 which are selectively mounted, to facilitate
connection to the wand of the main body 10 of the surface cleaning device.
[0016] With reference to Figs. 3a, 3b and 3c, Fig. 3a illustrates a three-dimensional structure
of a concentrated steam shot accessory according to the present disclosure; Fig. 3b
illustrates a three-dimensional sectional structure of the concentrated steam shot
accessory of Fig. 3a; and Fig. 3c illustrates a front view sectional structure of
the concentrated steam shot accessory of Fig. 3a.
[0017] In the illustrated configurations shown in Figs. 3a-3c, the concentrated steam shot
accessory 20 has a steam inlet 207 connected to the steam supply interface 107 of
the surface cleaning device; wherein the concentrated steam shot accessory 20 includes:
a shot accessory housing 21, a rear end of which is connected to the wand 105 of the
main body 10 of the surface cleaning device; and a steam concentrating channel member,
provided inside the shot accessory housing 21. In this configuration, the steam concentrating
channel member is an overmolded integrated member, and includes a channel member main
body 22 and a single nozzle 23 provided in the front end of the channel member main
body 22, the nozzle 23 being made of metal.
[0018] As set forth herein, the steam concentrating channel member has a single channel
extending along a linear channel axis, the front end of the channel forms a steam
outlet 208,and the rear end of the channel forms the steam inlet 207; the nozzle 23
is provided at the front end of the channel along the channel axis and forms a steam
outlet 208 located on the nozzle 23; and a tapered hole section tapered towards the
steam outlet 208 is formed between the steam inlet 207 and the steam outlet 208 which
is located on the nozzle 23. Wherein the concentrated steam shot accessory 20 is configured
such that the steam outlet 208 faces towards a to-be-cleaned surface in an unobstructed
manner along a shooting direction. In case a contact-type auxiliary cleaning accessory
(hereinafter mentioned) which is selectively connected is mounted, the state of unobstructed
manner is not strictly required.
[0019] In the present disclosure, because of the tapered hole section of the steam concentrating
channel member, the steam can be accelerated, so that the steam shot out from the
steam outlet 208 has a higher shooting speed; in addition, as a single nozzle and
a single channel are used, the steam can be better concentrated, and the shooting
use of the steam is stronger. Therefore, the concentrated steam shot accessory 20
of the present invention can not only dissolve stains by using the temperature of
the steam, but also can remove the stains by using the flushing effect due to shooting
of the steam, thereby being able to remove stubborn stains such as oil stains attached
to, for example, hard surfaces. Accordingly, the concentrated steam shot accessory
of the present invention may extend the steam function of the surface cleaning device
to more use cases, such as a cooking hob and cleaning oil stains on kitchen hood.
[0020] The channel member main body may be formed of a plastic member. There is a high difficulty
in directly forming a steam shooting hole (i.e. the steam outlet 208, having a diameter
of about 0.8 mm) in the plastic member. Moreover, when used at the high temperature
of the steam, the plastic steam channel may be deformed, thereby affecting the steam
shooting. In this embodiment of the present disclosure, after the metal nozzle (which
is resistant to high temperature and is not easy to deform) is embedded in the front
end of the steam channel, the steam shooting hole is formed in the metal nozzle, facilitating
formation of the steam shooting hole and stable shooting of steam.
[0021] The nozzle 23 being made of metal can facilitate machining and forming of the steam
outlet 208 located on the nozzle 23, and the steam outlet 208 will not be deformed
under the effect of high temperature of the steam when the steam is shot, thereby
possibly ensuring the stability of the steam shooting operation.
[0022] With reference to Figs. 2c and 3c, a nozzle flange 231 extending in a radial direction
and embedded in the channel member main body 22 is formed on the nozzle 23.
[0023] By forming the nozzle flange 231 on the nozzle 23, the nozzle 23 and the channel
member main body 22 can be better bonded together to prevent the nozzle 23 from falling
off.
[0024] A first tapered hole 226 is formed in the channel member main body 22, a second tapered
hole 236 is formed in the nozzle 23, the first tapered hole 226 is connected to the
second tapered hole 236 along the channel axis, and the steam outlet 208 is formed
at the front end of the second tapered hole 236, wherein the tapered angle of the
second tapered hole 236 is greater than that of the first tapered hole 226.
[0025] By forming the second tapered hole 236 in the nozzle 23 and enabling the tapered
angle of the second tapered hole 236 to be greater than that of the first tapered
hole 226 located at the rear side, steam can be further concentrated and accelerated.
[0026] With reference to Figs. 2c and 3b, a connection protruding column is provided inside
the shot accessory housing 21, the rear end of the channel member main body 22 forms
a connection flange 224, and the connection flange 224 is connected to the connection
protruding column by a connecting screw 225.
[0027] Because of the connection between the connection flange 224 and the connection protruding
column, it can be ensured that the steam concentrating channel member is reliably
connected to the shot accessory housing 21.
[0028] As illustrated herein, a stop portion 213 is formed inside the front end of the shot
accessory housing 21, and the front end of the channel member main body 22 forms an
abutting portion 223 that abuts against the stop portion 213.
[0029] Due to the cooperation between the stop portion 213 and the abutting portion 223,
it can be further ensured that the steam concentrating channel member is stably mounted
in the shot accessory housing 21.
[0030] Referring again to Fig. 2c, a front end aperture 211 is formed at the front end of
the shot accessory housing 21, and the channel member main body 22 includes an extension
section 221 that extends forward from the abutting portion 223 and passes through
the front end aperture 211; the concentrated steam shot accessory 20 further includes
a contact-type auxiliary cleaning accessory which is selectively connected, wherein
the contact-type auxiliary cleaning accessory has a connecting sleeve on the extension
section 221 of the channel member main body 22; and the contact-type auxiliary cleaning
accessory includes at least one of a circular brush accessory 26, a rectangular brush
accessory 27, and a shovel-like accessory 28. With reference to Figs. 4a, 4b, and
4c, the illustrated configurations respectively show instances that a circular brush
accessory 26, a rectangular brush accessory 27, and a shovel-like accessory 28 are
further provided on the concentrated steam shot accessory.
[0031] When the effect of dissolving and flushing stubborn stains such as oil stains by
steam is not ideal, further by the action of an external force of the contact-type
auxiliary cleaning accessory such as a brush accessory or a shovel-like accessory,
the stains on the to-be-cleaned surface can be loosened and separated from the to-be-cleaned
surface as far as possible, and the stains can be more easily dissolved and removed
under the action of the steam, thereby being able to achieve a better effect of removing
stains. In order to achieve the connection of the contact-type auxiliary cleaning
accessory, in a specific implementation, an L-shaped notch can be provided on the
connecting sleeve of the contact-type auxiliary cleaning accessory, and a protruding
column extending radially is provided on the extension section of the channel member
main body 22, so as to achieve rotational locking by cooperation between the protruding
column and the L-shaped notch.
[0032] The extension section 221 includes a first extension section 221a and a second extension
section 221b extending forward from the first extension section, the diameter of the
second extension section 221b being less than that of the first extension section
221a.
[0033] A sealing ring assembly 24 is provided on the outer surface of the extension section
211, and the sealing ring assembly 24 includes a first sealing ring 24a provided on
the first extension section 221a and a second sealing ring 24b provided on the second
extension section 221b.
[0034] By providing the first extension section 221a and the second extension section 221b
having different diameters and the first sealing ring 24a and the second sealing ring
24b provided therein, other cleaning accessories can be connected to the concentrated
steam shot accessory 20 more conveniently and more stably.
[0035] Referring to Figs. 2b, 2c, and 3a, a vent 212 is formed on the shot accessory housing
21, such that the interior of the hose 104 is in communication with the external environment
through the vent 212.
[0036] The surface cleaning device has an operating mode using a negative pressure suction;
after the concentrated steam shot accessory has been mounted, if a user accidentally
selects the operating mode of the surface cleaning device as an operating mode having
a negative pressure suction, a suction motor will operate in an anomalous state with
increased heat generation in the case of being unable to achieve ventilation, thereby
causing safety risks. The vent on the shot accessory housing can ensure ventilation
between the hose and the external environment, effectively avoiding safety risks caused
by improper selection of operating modes.
[0037] With reference now to Fig. 3a, strip-shaped protruding ribbings 21c can also be further
provided on the outer surface of the shot accessory housing 21, and guide groove 21b
can also be further provided on the inner surface of the shot accessory housing 21,
so that the user can connect the concentrated steam shot accessory 20 to the wand
105 or remove same from the wand 105 along the guide groove 21b.
[0038] Obviously, a person skilled in the art could make various modifications and variations
to the present invention without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Thus, if these modifications and variations of the present invention fall within the
scope of the claims and the equivalent technologies thereof, the present invention
is also intended to include these modifications and variations.
[0039] In the present disclosure, because of the tapered hole section of the steam concentrating
channel member, the steam can be accelerated, so that the steam shot out from the
steam outlet has a higher shooting speed; therefore, not only can stains be dissolved
by using the temperature of the steam, but also the stains can be removed by using
the flushing effect due to shooting of the steam, thereby being able to remove stubborn
