OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention, as expressed in the wording of this descriptive memory, refers
to a device for transporting stacked banknotes, so as to occupy the minimum possible
space, which are introduced by external automatic means into a pleated flexible bag
which is adapted to the quantity of banknotes to be transported, and whose procedure
improves the reliability and performance of the present devices on the market.
FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The field of the invention corresponds to the auxiliary industry of machines and
devices for handling and transporting banknotes.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] There are different antecedents on banknote transport devices, but all of them are
either very simple, such as a sack closed at the top by a strong flange or containers,
all of them bulky, expensive and complicated.
[0004] The inventor does not know of any similar device over the advocated invention which
can be considered as a remarkable antecedent.
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The device which the invention proposes incorporates a plurality of novel features,
in relation to other elements used within the sector and which solves problems which
had not hitherto arisen.
[0006] The recommended invention refers to a device for transporting stacked banknotes,
so as to occupy as little space as possible, which are introduced by external automatic
means into a flexible pleated bag which adapts to the quantity of banknotes to be
transported and which, detaching from the filling assembly, are independently transported
and/or stored. Moreover, as the stored banknotes are stacked, they can be directly
introduced into counting and/or vending machines in a quick and easy way.
[0007] Once the banknotes have arrived at their destination, the only way to open the device
and retrieve the banknotes is by tearing the bag. With this system, it is easy to
detect any manipulation of the banknotes as the whole system is hermetically sealed.
[0008] Moreover, the device does not require in any case direct handling of the banknotes
and the transport set is a totally closed and inviolable device if it is not for the
breakage of the bag, easily detectable.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0011] The device which the invention proposes, incorporates novel features in relation
to other elements used within the sector and which solves problems which until now
were complicated to solve, with great simplicity and efficiency.
[0012] The recommended invention refers to a device for transporting stacked banknotes,
so as to occupy as little space as possible, which are introduced by external automatic
means into a flexible pleated bag which adapts to the quantity of banknotes to be
transported, and which, detaching from the filling assembly, can be independently
transported and stored. Moreover, as the stored banknotes are stacked, they can be
directly introduced into counting and/or vending machines in a quick and easy way.
In addition, the device does not require, in any case, direct handling of the banknotes
and the transport set is a totally closed and inviolable device if it is not for the
breakage of the bag, easily detectable.
[0013] More specifically, the transport device for stacked banknotes is made up of four
main elements:
The dispensing piece (R) of the banknotes (1) constituted by a rectangular parallelepiped
slightly larger than a banknote, made of rigid material such as plastic or metal and
open on its two major parallel faces and presenting on its upper face an upper opening
for the entrance of the bag support (S) and on the lower base at least 2 unlocking
tabs (3) of the bag support (S).
The bag support part (S) and the closing lid, consisting of a rec-tangular parallelepiped
with rounded corners, the size of a banknote, made of a rigid material; It is made
of a rigid material, such as plastic or metal, and open on both its front and rear
sides, with an outer perimeter flange (23) of approximately 3 mm on its front free
face and a larger rectangular flange on its rear free face that will fit perfectly
on the front free face of the banknote dispensing part (R), showing on the rear flange
an upper opening of the support (22) for the entry of the cover (T) and four notches
(24) in the shape of an "H" for the fitting of the cover (T),
The closing lid of the bag support (T), consisting of a rectangular sheet of a thickness
of 2mm, and rigid material in which there are 4 sliding tabs (11) located at the 4
corners, 4 rounded "H" shaped protuberances (12) on its upper edge, 4 rectangular
recesses (13) on its lower edge and two horizontal folding notches (14), and along
the entire surface equidistant in distance from each other and between the upper and
lower edges, which allow for easy transport of the device, if it is inserted through
the upper opening of the support (22) and folded by the recesses parallel to the whole
being all at the same height.
[0014] Flexible transport bag (B) that on the inside of the support part (S) and between
the two flanges is the transport bag (B) consisting of a bag of flexible material
between 30/40 cm long, fully pleated and preferably glued to the outer walls around
the perimeter of its open mouth by a suitable glue.
[0015] The banknotes (1) loaded on the back of the banknote dispensing part (R) are mechanically
pushed through this part and arrive by means of the bag support (S) to the bag (B)
where, when pushed, they unfold the flexible transport bag (B) and unfold the folds
(31) according to the storage needs, in such a way that with the aid of mechanical
pressure and with the retention produced in the folds (31) by the outer rim (23) the
flexible transport bag (B) is only unfolded as far as necessary, leaving the pleated
and unused part (33) inside the support part (S) and the unfolded part (32) filled
with the banknotes (1).
[0016] Once the banknotes (1) to be transported are inside the flexible transport bag (B),
the closing cap (T) is inserted and pushed until it fits perfectly into the lower
part (3) of the banknote dispenser (R), which causes the support of the bag with the
bag to detach and hermetically closes the assembly by means of the cap (T), which
has become totally encased and without the possibility of opening or manipulation
due to the action of the sliding tabs (11).
[0017] Once the banknotes have arrived at their destination, the only way to open the device
and recover the banknotes (1) is by breaking the flexible transport bag (B). With
this system it is easy to detect any manipulation of the banknotes since the assembly
is hermetically sealed.
[0018] Having sufficiently described the nature of the invention, as well as the manner
of putting it into practice, it should be noted that the provisions previously indicated
and represented in the attached drawings are susceptible to modifications of detail
as long as they do not alter their fundamental principles, set forth in the preceding
paragraphs and summarized in the following claims.
