TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention belongs to the technical field of lounge furniture, and more
particularly, relates to a lounge chair with parallel horizontal bars.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] There are many styles of lounge chairs, and their basic structural forms are to have
a frame, on which a chair seat plate and a chair back plate are installed. For example,
the applicant has applied for a Chinese utility model patent with patent number
CN2022229376253, which relates to an assembled dining chair. The assembled dining chair includes
a frame, a chair back plate and a chair seat plate, wherein a plurality of parallel
plastic bars is arranged on the chair back plate and the chair seat plate, and the
chair back plate and the chair seat plate are fixed on the frame through screws; a
plurality of concave holes is formed in the side, facing a user, of the frame; a plurality
of protruding ends is arranged on the sides, away from the user, of the chair back
plate and the chair seat plate; and the protruding ends are in one-to-one correspondence
to the concave holes.
[0003] The chair seat plate and the chair back plate in this technical scheme are monolithic
plates composed of several parallel plastic bars, that is, are mounted on the frame
as a whole. This technical scheme has the disadvantages that the mold cost is high,
but the chair seat plate and the chair back plate can only be replaced as a whole
once damaged. Therefore, the prior art has another structural form, in which several
plastic horizontal bars are independently mounted on the frame one by one to form
the chair seat plate and the chair back plate. This technical scheme requires a large
number of mounting holes reserved in the frame to be fixedly connected to the plastic
bars, and these holes need to be reserved in the frame quite precisely, thus increasing
the degree of assistance in the production process.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] An object of the present invention is to provide a lounge chair with parallel horizontal
bars, in order to solve the proposed technical problems.
[0005] The technical solution adopted by the present invention is summarized as follows:
a lounge chair with parallel horizontal bars includes a frame, wherein a plurality
of parallel horizontal bars is fixed at a chair seat and a chair back of the frame,
respectively, thereby constituting a chair seat plate and a chair back plate; a plurality
of through slots is formed in the left side and the right side of the frame, respectively;
a width of each through slot at an opening is less than a width inside the through
slot; an integrated clamping portion is disposed at both ends of each horizontal bar,
respectively; and a cross-sectional profile of the clamping portion matches a cross-sectional
profile of the through slot, so that the two clamping portions of each horizontal
bar are sheathed into the through slots in both sides of the frame respectively.
[0006] Further, a length of each clamping portion is greater than a length of the horizontal
bar.
[0007] The lower end of the clamping portion has a hollow part, so that the cross section
of the clamping portion is in an inverted "Y" shape.
[0008] A sealing member is provided at the end of the through slot of the frame, and the
sealing member is made of an elastic material, and is in clearance fit with the end
of the frame and its through slot for clamping and fixing.
[0009] The mounting process of the present invention is as follows: two clamping portions
of one plastic horizontal bar are sheathed into the through slots in both sides of
the frame, pushed along the through slots to the bottom, then sleeved with several
plastic horizontal bars until they are full of the chair seat and chair back areas,
and finally clamped into the sealing member and fixed. When a plastic horizontal bar
needs to be replaced, the sealing member is removed with a tool, and the plastic horizontal
bars are removed from the through slots in turn until the plastic horizontal bar to
be replaced is removed, and then the horizontal bars are reinstalled again. Further,
a length of each clamping portion of the horizontal bar is greater than a length of
the horizontal bar, such that the adjacent horizontal bars are not closely arranged,
but have a certain interval, which enhances the user's experience. An interdigital
shape at the lower end of the clamping portion increases its elasticity, allowing
it to be forced to the middle during installation to easily be sheathed into the through
slot, and expands outward to secure the frame more firmly when the clamping portion
is clamped in the through slot.
[0010] The present invention has another advantage that the plastic horizontal bars are
universally interchangeable, saving the cost of a mold.
[0011] It can be seen that the present invention is low in cost, comfortable to use, and
capable of achieving the replacement of a single horizontal bar.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0013] Referring to drawings, in the present embodiment, the meanings of length, width and
height are defined based on an orientation of a user facing a lounge chair. The left
and right sides refer to a left side and a right side facing the user, and the width
of the chair refers to a direction of the chair from left to right. Correspondingly,
the width direction of a horizontal bar is also consistent with a width direction
of the chair. A direction perpendicular to the horizontal bar, that is, a direction
in which a plurality of horizontal bars is arranged, is defined as the length. When
the horizontal bars are arranged vertically as a chair back plate, a direction perpendicular
to the width of the horizontal bar may also be called the height. It should be noted
that for a single horizontal bar, the value of its width is much greater than the
length.
[0014] The lounge chair of the present embodiment includes a frame 1, a chair seat plate
21 and a chair seat plate 22 which are composed of plastic horizontal bars 2, and
a sealing member 3. The design of the present embodiment is as follows: the width
of the chair back plate is larger than that of the chair seat plate, so the widths
of the two plastic horizontal bars composing them are not consistent, but other features
are completely consistent, so they are still collectively referred to as horizontal
bars 2.
[0015] The frame 1 has four through slots 11, 12, 13, and 14, which are distributed on the
left and right sides of a chair back area and a chair seat surface area. The through
slots have the same cross-sectional shape, and all have a large internal diameter
and a small width at an opening. A clamping portion 25 is respectively provided at
two ends of each of the plurality of plastic horizontal bars 2, and a distance between
the two clamping portions 25 is equal to a distance between the left through slot
and the right through slot. The lower end of the cross section of the clamping portion
25 has a hollow part 251, such that the cross-section shape resembles an inverted
"Y" shape. Therefore, the lower end of the clamping portion has certain elasticity,
and its Y-shaped interfingers can be squeezed into the middle when forced so as to
be sheathed into the through slot conveniently, and have a tendency to expand outward
and are expanded in the through slot when not forced.
[0016] When the lounge chair of the present embodiment is installed, a horizontal bar 2
having an appropriate width is selected, and two clamping portions 25 of the horizontal
bar 2 are sheathed into the through slots in the left and right sides, pushed to the
bottom and then sleeved with the next bar in turn. The above operation is repeated.
Finally, several horizontal bars are arranged in parallel, until they are filled with
the chair back area and the chair seat area. Since the length (or height) of the clamping
portion is greater than the horizontal bar itself, the adjacent horizontal bars will
not be closely arranged, but will leave a gap therebetween to form a chair back plate
21 and a chair seat panel 22. Finally, the elastic sealing member 3 is respectively
clamped into the end of each of the four through slots, which is equivalent to a plug
in the prior art, so that the lounge chair of the present embodiment is fixed as a
whole and attractive in appearance.
